    Vegetarian ramen
    Rupa N.

Ramen is always great on a cold evening, and it's hard to find vegetarian broth. We arrived just before 6:00 PM on a Sunday, which was perfect timing since the restaurant got busy afterward. I ordered the vegetarian ramen which came with fried tofu and other vegetables. The broth was flavorful, and it had plenty of veggies. I did ask for a spice tray to add a bit heat. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and even though it got bus, the service was good.

This place is a must try! I'm a noodle fanatic and am so happy with my decision coming here. I've tried multiple dishes but the Khao Soi is very delicious. I highly recommend every one to give this place a shot.

Great place!! I've ordered out before and it was good but going in was so much better. The spicy crispy chicken was my absolute favorite, 10/10. The service was great, and the restaurant itself was cozy and clean. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is either an order up or sit down restaurant. I've been couple times and it hasn't been packed we got seated right away. The ramen is responsibly priced and very filling. The flavors are good! I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. My only problem is the take out. Place is clean. I ordered takeout. They don't provide a bowl. Which had me baffled. Had I not been home and wanted to eat at work I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it because the broth cup they give you is so small. It's like 12oz little cup and the noodles are on a foam takeout plate. Any other place I've been to adds the noodles in a bowl and the broth separately to add.

we ordered two tonkotsu ramens. All the sides and noodles were cold. the amount of chashu that came with each order is shown below. The bamboo shoots were soaked in the juice they came from out of the can and were at room temp at best. The broth was hot but placed on top of the takoyaki and when we opened the bag it had melted the styrofoam over the food and were forced to toss it Not at all worth the cost

I would truly give Kanta 4.5 stars! Service - the service here is wonderful! The lady who served us was super sweet. We let her know that we are vegetarian and she took the time to explain which dishes were vegetarian or could be made vegetarian. Other than it being a little slow towards the end (she was the only server at a busy time), the food came out quickly and she was very tentative throughout the entire dining experience! I will note that only some of the tables had soy sauce and a chili tray on them. We had to get up to go grab one, which isn't a big deal but definitely something they can add to all the tables! Food - Apps: Vegetable Egg Roll - crunchy and satisfying! The sauce was sweet and perfectly paired with the rolls. Mains: Vegetable Ramen and Pad Thai with Tofu - we asked to make the ramen spicy and it had a great flavor! The Pad Thai was a bit on the sweeter side, so if you want it to have a bit of a kick definitely ask for spicy! tl;dr - Awesome option if you're looking for a quick sit down meal! I recommend the Vegetable Ramen and Pad Thai!

The food here is great. The choices are wide and plentiful. I've always had good service here and great food. I tried the Tom Kha ramen noodles today and oh wow i was not disappointed. Tom Kha is one of my fave soups ever and having noodles for an addition made it that more amazing :) I've had the duck noodle soup here as well and it's fantastic! Highly recommended!

So we just move to this area and have been looking for a ramen place. Saw this joint on our way to church so we thought we'd try it. Hubby and I both got ramen; he got the spicy tonkotsu and I got the miso. My miso ramen broth was flavorful and good. The only thing I didn't like was how very thin the two (2) slices of the chasu pork belly. Like any other good ramen I've had, the slices of the chasu pork were thicker. Other than that, I think the broth brought the 4 starts. Oh and we also ordered the gyoza--it's fried but it is very good that we already ate a few before I can take pictures (thus the 2 pieces in the picture); that contributed to the 4 stars. This joint also serves Thai food so, I would have to come back and try it. Kind of skeptical that a restaurant would serve both Japanese and Thai cuisine but it's the food and the quality that counts so we'll see how their Thai concoctions fare. The server, Gotham (yes, Batman's Gotham)--it's his second day on the job and he did great. Very attentive and checked on us a few times. Ambience was ok. We'll probably be back to try their Thai food.

Cute little mom and pop restaurants. Def recommend their pad thai and ramen. Spring rolls weren't anything special but it was inexpensive so can't really complain.

    Look at that dumpling size!

Ambiance was what you would expect for a shopping strip Ramen restaurant. It was smaller and clean. And the bathroom was clean as well. Service was a little on the slow side. It was their lunch time and the staff was all eating at the same time. So once our appetizers were delivered I had to get up and ask for forks. We started with edamame. It was very normal. It was not seasoned at all. Just steamed. Then we had the Gyoza, Marinated grounded pork and chicken wrapped with gyoza wrapper and fried with dipping sweet soy sauce. They were soft fried. Very tasty. They were filled with a tender mixture of pork and chicken. And the dipping sauce complemented the dumplings well. My daughter was along for todays lunch. She ordered the BBQ Pork Wonton Ramen Marinated grounded chicken and shrimp wrapped with wonton wrapper,BBQ pork, bean sprout, bok choy, scallions, fried garlic and cilantro in tonkotsu broth. It was D-lish. The dumplings were a nice size, soft and perfect addition to the flavorful broth. The Boc Choy and sprouts added the perfect fresh crunch. The pork was thin sliced, abundant and very tender. The hint of garlic was perfect. Next, we had the Chicken Ramen Chicken, based broth with chicken , soft-boiled egg, bean sprout, bokchoy, scallions, fried garlic, sesame seeds and cilantro. As you know the base can make or break Ramen, and this little place hit it out of the park with even the most simple of broths. The broth was once again flavorful. The noodles were perfect and plentiful, the chicken was sliced and cooked perfectly. The boc choy added the crunch. We did add extra chicken. It was topped with a sprinkle of fried garlic. Perfect the way it was served but their is a list of items if you would like to customize. We enjoyed our first visit. Our compliments to the chef.

This place was ALL AROUND AWESOME! First off, our server was so patient, friendly and sweet - she made recommendations when we asked (which was great as there were a TONNN of choices!) and pointed us in all the right directions because we loved our food! Five stars for this spectacular service!!! I chose the spicy Tonkotsu, which was savory and just the right amount of spicy! The noodles were medium wavy and cooked to perfection and the pork was succulent and melted in my mouth. My friend had the crispy duck, which was also delicious - with the duck really being just the right amount of crispy and OH SO MELTY as well! We also had the spicy edamame which had a unique, delish garlic sauce on it - super tasty! Finally some shrimp shumai- I wasn't a huge fan of the wrappers on those (not crispy enough for me) but my friend loved them. Highly recommend you check it out!

The restaurant is very elegant, very neat, clean and well organized. I got there as they opened, and was promptly greeted by Ms. Lucy, hoste/waitress, who was soft spoken, very welcoming, with a very nice smile and beautiful personality, and was very efficient. She took my order, brought me a glass of water, and I ordered the Shoyu chicken ramen for $13.00 plus $2.00 added for a large. The Shouyu Chicken ramen was very delicious, the chicken broth was so good great flavor. Albeit, in my humble opinion the noodles, other toppings and chicken was very sparse for the price of the ramen. But, as far as taste goes it was one the best I have had so far. I also had the chicken fried rice bowl, for $10.00 $2.00 added for chicken, and gyoza (6pcs), for $7.00. to go for my daughter. The chicken fried rice was very flavorful, and daughter said the guys was very delicious. I will most definitely be coming here again the food was very satisfying, Ms. Lucy, is awesome and very kind. Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.

It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

NOOOOO! I want to find something good to eat in this Colleyville strip, but this is not it…read more To start, the service felt rushed from the moment we sat down. While efficiency is appreciated, this crossed into uncomfortable territory -- minutes after ordering, the food was on our table. While speed can be a good thing, it raised red flags in this case. Additionally, we asked the waitress a few standard questions like "what is most popular," and she said, "maybe sushi or hibachi," not the most helpful, seeing the name is Hibachi Sushi, so I tried again, seeing they have Sea Bass. I asked if she would recommend Sea Bass, and she again said yes, or chicken or beef. I guess we're reading the menu together today. It was rough, but we settled on two hibachi dishes from a standard table and not surrounding the hibachi cook. The food itself confirmed our time concerns. The quick turnaround meant the dishes lacked freshness. The sea bass in particular was disappointing -- overcooked and rubbery, with no delicate texture you'd expect from a quality fish cut. It tasted more like it had been reheated than freshly prepared. Other items followed suit, feeling hastily assembled rather than thoughtfully cooked. The sauce, texture, and everything else were a miss. Overall, the experience felt more like a race than a meal. Hibachi dining usually delivers on the fresh-off-the-grill flavor. Sadly, this visit missed all of those marks. If you're looking for a date night dinning for about $70 (without drinks or tip) but also need to be in and out in 30 minutes, with feelings of disappointment this is your stop. Recommend staff training for the waiters that interface with customers but also, and more importantly, someone that works there needs to eat what the customers are being served. This food is terrible and in need of quality assurance measures.

The broth tasted off and the beef had no flavor and was WAY overcooked and rubbery. He had one bite/sip of all of it and was done. My son had the sushi. You can see how much he ate of it. The inside of one of the rolls was hard (shrimp) and the meat on the other one was not cooked right and tasted horrible. The worst part is that the employees could care less. One of them came over and asked if we wanted our ramen to go when clearly it hadn't been eaten. I said, "no thank you. My husband didn't like it." He just turned around and walked off.
