Along with my Tesla Insurance Car Rental coverage, I was steered to pick up a rental from Enterprise W Hollywood "MIKE" who gave me the run around AND NEVER CALLED ME BACK w rental car options and tried to cram a mini Van down my throat at the end which won't fit into my driveway. Pro Tip: If u have Rental Car Coverage, check you policy but most likely you have the choice to rent any car as u wish and from who ever, as long as you're willing to pay out of pocket for anything over your daily rental coverage rate to go thru reimbursement. Based on that, I uploaded my driver's license and proof of insurance, completed the required paperwork, and paid the rental amount and then I later paid the remaining delivery fee. The company had approximately 55 days to review my documents. During that time, I was never told there was any issue with my insurance. I even called the company about three days before my reservation regarding my remaining payment, and no insurance problem was mentioned. Then, one day before my scheduled rental, I was informed that I could not rent the vehicle because I was not listed on my family's insurance policy. At that point, I had virtually no opportunity to correct the issue. The company refunded my delivery fee and about half of my rental payment but retained approximately 50% under its cancellation policy. My disappointment is not simply about the cancellation policy. My concern is that Falcon Car Rental had my documents for nearly two months, told me I was eligible, and waited until the day before my rental to notify me of an eligibility issue that prevented the rental from happening. If you're renting from this company, I recommend confirming every insurance requirement in writing as early as possible rather than assuming your documents have already been reviewed.
