Alan, the driver who picked me up, also brought my rental vehicle and took the time to walk me through the features of the Camry. Theodora helped me. She was very understanding, flexible with my add-ons, and very thorough with instructions. The lobby was clean, they offered water and coffee. The manager was also very nice. The car was clean and maintained. Drop off instructions were clear. Overall the experience was seamless and fast. From check-in to drive-off it was about 30 minutes. After-hours drop off took maybe fifteen minutes. I highly recommend this Midway. It's nice clean and rentals are easy to do.

I also love that they pick you up from the body shop and allow you to drop the car off with the body shop. That was extremely clutch for me. My only complaint, and why I take away 2 stars, is that I informed the worker that I received 2 tickets I'd be contesting because meters were not taking my card. This is something that I've been experiencing more often. I don't know if a lot of the meters in LA are at life expectancy, lol, but they sometimes won't read your card no matter how many times you swipe. For one of the tickets, midway had already paid it and charged me the price WITH a Midway fee on top of it on the the last day I had to request to contest the ticket. I already put that day on my planner to start the contest process. They paid it at the beginning of the day before I even got the chance. And if you pay before requesting to contest, they won't refund you. So basically I just got charged a full ticket price PLUS exorbitant fee on top of it for a ticket that was going to be thrown out for a faulty meter. I could understand if I went most of the day and it's almost EOD and I didn't pay or opt to contest, but they hadn't even reached out to me. They DID reach out to me before paying the second one, and thankfully allowed me to start the contest process before charging me for the ticket and a fee on top. But since I already informed them of the tickets from the beginning, I should've been given that courtesy the first time as well to contest my ticket by my deadline before they took it upon themselves to just charge it. Either way, it is what it is. I just paid over $100 to park at a place for 15 minutes. Gotta love LA. Outside of that debacle, Midway is great!

If you're like me, you're always going to look up a business on yelp, so I'm writing this for people like me. In this instance, I decided to trust the referral from Paulee, and I'm glad that I did! I was rear ended last week and went to my go-to body shop (Paulee) even though my insurance company was recommending I go to another. They made me a reservation at Enterprise for my rental, but I wasn't too stoked about that because every time I get a rental from Enterprise I get put into some sort of crappy car well below the class of my Lexus IS 250 Convertible. This time, Paulee recommended I go next door to Auotgreen to see if they could put me into something nicer for my $50 / day rental coverage. And that they did. They set me up with a 3 Series BMW and took the time to sit with me and walk through how to use all the options on the car. With the level of service I received, I felt like I was buying a new car, not renting one. I was a bit concerned that I had to use Enterprise because that's where my insurance had set up my rental, but they assured me that legally insurance companies have to let you get your car fixed wherever you want and get your rental car from wherever you want - but they will definitely push you toward their preferred vendors and make it easier for you to do so. They said they would contact my insurance and set up direct pay just as Enterprise would have been. They are strict here - no smoking and no pets in the car - and they will fine you dearly for it, but as a non-smoking non-pet owner, I respect that. I'll update my review if I have any issues upon returning the car, but I don't anticipate that I will!
