Above and beyond expectations here. Herbie, Aimee, Leydi, and Jose at their shop in North Hollywood did an amazing job on my brand new Ioniq 6. I requested an emblem delete that not many shops were doing, it's more complicated for a vehicle like mine since emblems are screwed into a concave placeholder. Quote was completely done through text, just sent some pictures and they gave me a price that beat out some shops I had to bring the car into. Paperwork was all done through electronic communication as well, so once I had to pick up my car it was as simple as a payment and sign off. No need to sit and wait to process paperwork for long periods of time. I went during a lunch break and was back in time. The work will speak for itself but the awesome level of communication and ease of process makes this place stand out. I felt very welcome all the time I was over at the shop and I felt very at ease. The price I paid for the work was very very fair. Perfect paint match and the clean up work was on point as well. I do detailing as a side hustle and I can see a visual indication of where the emblem used to be, but you need to look at it from a certain angle to even be able to tell and even at that point it's miniscule. Absolute worst customer service when calling for a quote. My husband called them today. The man that we spoke with didn't catch him name unfortunately had the worst attitude as if we were bothering him. My husbands father called for a quote on a wrap. We did not know his father had already called them before we did. He told us he already told his dad the price and gave us the quote he had given to his dad and the call was ended. He then called us back and proceeded to talk down to him about his dad already calling. He asked what we really wanted and if we aren't going to schedule an appointment to stop calling. I don't know where to start but after going through several reviews I wanted to give this a try myself. I am a car enthusiast, and I brought my 1993 SL600 for some body work and change of headlight. Herbie the owner and he's amazing team we're very helpful. To be honest, I left with a very good feeling about my project. They gave me a very good customer service feeling. Not only did they do an amazing job, but throughout the whole process they were sending me progression of the work. From A-Z it was perfection. I repainted and fixed my front bumper and change the old headlight to new euro headlights which I had brought myself but they made the change and everything came out great. This review has been long overdue, as my car was brought in on Aug 2022 after a car accident and I planned to pay out of pocket. Regrettably, their initial overpromise and subsequent underperformance have left me dissatisfied. Despite assurances of exceptional service from the owner, which included personal attention and a discounted quote, the reality fell far short. )The owner promises that they would do an exceptional job and really wanted me to give them a chance (sent in long paragraphs over Yelp messaging). I stupidly caved. My car was in an accident and I wanted it fixed soon and fast and I wanted a good job. The owner actually came to view the car in person which I thought demonstrated a lot of care. He also severely underestimated the cost to fix my car ($3-4k), which I knew was a poor assessment to begin with, and not surprisingly, severely overestimated the price quote which he claimed was discounted (over $6k). This was a definite red flag and I should've ended it here. I honestly knew I was overpaying but decided to trust them for some naive reason. I know they have great Yelp reviews and expected good service. My ask was simple: include the cost, tell me the final quote and fix everything as I don't want any additional charges or more time spent waiting to fix my car. The final cost came closer to $6,600 that they added later without my consent and they didn't complete the job. Eventually taking my car to other mechanics, I learned what a poor job they had done. They never changed my tires (I was blamed for overlooking this in the contract), my car would keep making noise when I hit the brakes, and they never balanced my wheels, which I'm told is standard for all accidents and my cars brake pads should've been replaced. When I took my car to an oil change few weeks later, they immediately knew my car was in a bad accident and changed something in my car that was covered under warranty. I don't know why HADD would've overlooked this and not told me about it. When I took my car to a different mechanic nearly a year later, they basically felt really bad for the job done and thought I should return my car to HADD given how much I had spent out of pocket. I listened to their advice and HADD did the same thing they've done several times since I picked up my car, review the car and refer me to someone else to spend even more because they refused to fix what they should've in the first place. I returned to HADD several times after I first picked up my car and was constantly referred to different mechanics. The very last time I visited, the owner claimed he knew the trouble and would make changes to my axle as it was covered under warranty (he never ended up calling me back btw and I ended up fixing with another mechanic.) So in sum, I overpaid for a job that wasn't complete and they were satisfied returning a car back to me that wasn't safe to drive and they didn't have the decency to even update me that there was anything more to complete when I picked up the car. I can't trust them and hope others don't have the same experience I had and urge for greater transparency and integrity in their dealings. read more

Other body shops refused the job, quoted a much higher price, or were lacking in communication. After the initial quote (165 at Hadd's, 400+ at other body shops), we dropped the car off and were told it would be done in a few hours. I was impressed by their communications with me and ability to walk me through all of my concerns. My initial thought was that these folks are pros! So we filed a claim with insurance and coordinated with Hadd. Next we set up an appointment for service. They worked with the eating-behind-the-wheel person's insurance and made sure our car was fixed at the rate needed. The communication between us and Hadd was seamless. They were always accessible. We always knew exactly what was going on. Customer service like this is few and far between these days. I was so impressed! FURTHERMORE!!!! They accommodated us above and beyond. They came to us to pick up the car and then dropped the car off to us when it was finished to work with our busy work schedules. When the car came back, the repairs were exceptional. Less than a week after I bought my 2021 Tesla, someone in a car parked next to me opened their door too wide and created a small dent but a deep one. Eventually they did an excellent job...moreover they were able to pick up the car and deliver it upon completion. A few weeks ago, a metal ladder fell, actually leaned against my car when some boxes toppled over behind it in my crowded garage creating two dents on both the front and the back passenger doors. Review from 7/19/23: I am truly so grateful that I decided to go with HADD approximately a year ago for some auto body repairs because a year later, they saved me again. I got into my first auto accident with another vehicle, which was reasonably traumatizing. During the chaos of being stuck on the 405, I had the forethought that I needed to get my car to HADD Customs. I was so impressed by their assistance last year, that when the tow truck wanted to know where to go, they came to mind instantly. I called them and they quickly answered, formed a group chat to discuss my case, and confirmed that I could come by there. They were so incredibly kind to me and were the calm and reassurance I needed immediately after an accident. They walked me through the best next steps and even provided me with recommendations for legal support, which I did not have the insight to realize I needed. They kept me updated about my car and the eventual decision that it was a total loss. They made themselves available for me to pick up my belongings from my car, provided transportation from the shop to my nearby home, and continuously supported me. They truly treat customers like family, and that warmth is so essential when dealing with auto issues. I don't have much experience with other shops, but I imagine their level of care goes above and beyond what is normal. They do not take the loyalty of their customers lightly. They set up a text thread, through which they communicated with me. They had availability that same week, but I had a different week in mind, which they happily accommodated. The person I spoke with there was great and super friendly. We made plans for my car to be picked up, which was seamless, and my car was returned to me a little over 48 hours later. That comforted me and helped me feel involved. While returning my car to me, they even gave me a ride to my local bank branch, so I could get the cash for payment. I cannot recommend this shop more highly. Had an amazing, pain-free experience. My neighbor backed into my MX-5 Miata and left a huge dent in the rear bumper. I was a little heartbroken, it's basically my attainable dream car, I love it and try to take good care of it. I was able to route that estimate directly to my neighbor's insurance and Hadd took it from there. They handled all communication and payment details with the insurance company. They could have stopped there, but they didn't. They sent a driver to pick up the car and bring it to their shop. They updated me a few times with photos and videos of the repair progress. I usually dont ever leave reviews on yelp unless it is a complaint... BUT I have to say Hadd is GREAT!! They really made me feel like I have to leave a good review for them since their service was just beyond exceptional. My Tesla got scratched on the back side door, and I was asking few shops to get a quote, most of them gave me super ridiculous quote which was usually around 2k, and a lot of them asked me to come in first which I dont have time for that. But when I asked Hadd, they gave me a quote immediately after I sent pics, and the price was just SO GOOD! The other reason why I chose them because they offered pickup and delivery which was such a life saver for me!!! I dont think many shops offer that at all, and this really saved me a lot of hassle and time. My car turned out to be great! So my car was supposed to be delivered on Friday afternoon, but it was raining so bad, we had back and forth communication due to traffic and weather situation. I got frustrated because I wanted my car by 6pm. But Hadd was being super patient and polite with me which I have to say it is def a 5 star service. They offered to drop off my car wherever I want. So I gave them an address where I was having dinner with my friend. BUT I accidentally left my phone at my friend's car... So they had to look for me in the restaurant, which finally they did... My Jeep Wrangler 4xe is my BABY and I'm a perfectionist so I have a hard time trusting people with her, but these guys did a 5 star job on my grille customization project. I wanted a blacked out look for the grille because I couldn't stand the look of the silver factory trim the Jeep came with. I reached out to them on a Friday and the work was scheduled and completed on the following Tuesday. I got fast, professional service and a reasonable price for the paint and install of the parts I supplied. Plus, they dropped the Jeep back off at my home when the work was completed (huge time saver!!) and they returned my original parts very neatly and in good condition. I had a slight accident with my vehicle that left a crease/dent in my bumper. A couple of the body shops I contacted stated that they needed to replace the entire bumper, I knew that wasn't true. I talked to Herbie who know not only did I not need a new bumper but he could also make it better than it was before. He was right. The repair was done so well, not only can I not tell the bumper had been hit, the paint matches very well also.
