Quite literally the worst Enterprise in Round Rock. Slow is how I would describe the employees on a good day. On most days things move at such a glacial pace I grew grey hairs waiting here. They all have horrible attitudes and are completely dismissive to the growing line of people waiting for their car. You'd be better off Ubering or going to a different location. I would like to address a few concerns regarding my recent car rental experience. Firstly, I expect to have the vehicle I originally requested. If that car is unavailable, I do not want to be charged extra for a vehicle I did not ask for, nor do I want suggestions for a smaller vehicle that does not meet my needs. When I initially received mid size SUV, the radio and screen were not functional. I believe I should have received a discount for this inconvenience, especially since the alternative vehicle was not clean/washed. However, due to my urgency, I accepted it. I also noticed that I was charged extra for fuel without my consent. I prefer to refuel the car myself and did so at the exact level that was given to me (3/4 of a tank). Despite these issues during my visit on 4/4, at the St. Mary's location, I appreciate the flexibility I was given to change my return date to a different location without extra charges. We were in at accident in the evening, the day before a big holiday and they called us and asked if we could get to their office quickly so they could get us a rental. They were still open for us and we were out of there pretty quickly. The return was just as easy. Parking is a bit tricky but don't let that dissuade you. read more

We were visiting from out of town for suns vs spurs game. We didn't realize the game was to be played in Austin. We looked at uber but it was $116 one way. So I looked on enterprise since they have always been helpful and it was $57 for a small suv. Once booked, I got a call from Gene Mendoza. He stated there were no small SUV's available, but not to worry they had two options and I would get the same rate. This Enterprise location has been my go-to business to rent a car for years. I live in the downtown area, so this location is super convenient for me and frankly I've always thought they have great customer service. The couple times I've rented a car from them, I've been able to go in and out of there in just a couple minutes and the staff has been amazing. However, my last experience left a little bit of a bad taste. When I got there they told me they did not have any cars (even though I had a reservation). Thankfully another customer arrived a couple minutes after me to drop off her rental, so I was able to take hers. However I had to wait for them to clean it, inspect it and put gas on the car. This whole thing put me an hour late from the reservation time I had originally requested. On top of that, they did not fill up the gas tank completely, so I still had to stop by a gas station to fill it up myself which was very annoying. More people arrived after me with reservations, and they kept telling them they had to wait at least one hour to get a car. My recommendation to everyone would be that if you need a car ASAP, this might not be the location for you. If you don't mind waiting a bit and would like to walk around the beautiful South Alamo while they get you a car, then this might be the place for you. read more

They delivered the vehicle at the time stated. Had no issues. I was suppose to be picked up and taken back to the store but when the branch manager (YES, she was the person that came) arrived to deliver the vehicle she stated that she would make the other store, that is LITERALLY across the street, take her back. Hi my name is Christine Apgar, I visited San Antonio, Tx in Sept of this year. (2023) I was late getting to the campground that we were staying at on the 6th, due to an accident. I called Enterprise to let them know and they said that I had to wait till the next day to pick up my car. We came to Tx. to watch our grandson graduate from the air force base, Lackland on the 7th of Sept. The graduation was on the 7th and it was at 9 in the morning, they could not pick us up until 9:30 that morning. When they did pick us up and we got back to the office, they did not have a car for us we had to wait for one to come in. We got the car to late to see the graduation, and unfortunately I forgot my wallet in the car they picked us up in as I thought this was the car for us. Well I contacted the office as soon as I got back to the campground and was told they did not find it. I called the next day and they told me they would do a complete search of the area. They never called me back to let me know anything. We left Tx on Sunday the10th and on the 11th they claimed to have found my wallet. I asked if they could mail it to me, offered to pay and told them I would take full responsibility for it. Well here it is the 10 of Oct. and have still to get it. The claim to have Fed Ex. it to me on the 18th or the 19th but have no tracking number to give me. Now I know for a fact that Fed Ex gives a tracking number when you send something out. I have called this office a number of time over the past 2 months and still get the same response. They sent it and I should have gotten it already. I am getting a little tired of all the bull over this, I have called corporate and the same with them. I called Fed EX and they can not help me with out a tracking number, which the young lady who Fed Ex'd it to me does not have. I am going to have to get my lawyer involved now, hate to resort to this but I need my wallet. read more

I couldn't be happier to make the short drive to rent from this location. Katey was excellent and provided customer service that far surpassed my expectations. I went in to rent a vehicle while mine was being painted and she made sure I was comfortable and in a vehicle that met the specifications of what I needed. I've been a customer of Enterprise for a while as they always seem to have the best prices and newer cars. On a trip to San Antonio we made a reservation on St. Marys as it was close to where we were staying. I'm giving this office 1 star for cleanliness and 3 stars for customer service (the place was filthy). The office looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. In fact another couple walked in with a child and wanted to use the rest room and changed her mind after opening the door. They were busy and we had to wait a ilttle while but it didn't seem like they were ignoring me. We had rented an economy car and they only one they had was Hyundai which was filthy. They said for $5 more I could rent a mustang which was pretty nice. Jonathan was pretty helpful and explained everything about the car and took his time. read more

Not only did we sit here for 2 hours with a reservation for a car, they had a car available that nobody has claimed and denied putting us in it due to the price. They cannot fulfill our reservation and we are having to figure out another rental car. They made us feel like such an inconvenience. read more

Update: I had gotten the mini van and then they call me back on Tuesday 6/28 in which they gave me a Ford fusion. THE FORD FUSION WAS AT A QUARTER OF THE TANK! you have got to be kidding me. They never disclosed the daily rate and my insurance did not cover the extra fees for this rental. I had the Ford Fusion for TEN DAYS. I turn in the rental a day earlier and I get the rental agreement. They charged me taxes for both vehicles WHEN IT WAS THEIR FAULT!! Why even say you have compact cars when you give your clients mini vans & premium cars instead??? They charged me taxes and didn't tell me that they put me in a vehicle that my insurance wasn't going to pay those extra fees. The store manager DOES NOT inform me that she is charging MY card for the taxes tells me to have a good day. I am sick to my stomach. I would never recommend this business to anyone and I WILL let it me known how much they messed up from the beginning. read more

Wow! An Enterprise that's actually open when I need it. If I've ever had one complaint about most Enterprise locations it's 'cos they keep strange hours. You're kind of outta luck if you ever want to return a car on a Sunday. My colleague Rachel and I were in town on business and we decided to head out to a Missions game. Not knowing the neighborhoods, we didn't want to take the bus. We figured it'd be cheaper to rent a car than take taxis both ways. If you don't know where the Missions' ballpark is, it's on the edge of the city. Uhh, it was about $60.00 to rent a Chevy Aveo, so I'm not sure we saved all that much $$. But they were pretty efficient at getting us our car and on the road. Ehhh, the Aveo got us there and back in one piece but it wouldn't be my first choice in cars. read more

Staff is slow. Staff said "wow, this one has a full tank! That's rare." Second rental I got from this location didn't have a full tank. NO PARKING (you have to park in the surrounding neighborhood.) If you're a state employee, just go to the airport. I rent cars from Enterprise 2-3 times a week for work and usually go to the airport but visit other locations as well. When I visit these other location, the entire process takes no more than 10 minutes; I show my ID, badge, get the keys, receipt, and go.. This location in King William is much much closer to home and I've visited twice this week with not such a great experience. It took about 30 minutes for me to leave the lot both times. I'm not sure if they've never dealt with state employees but everything is direct bill and I shouldn't be asked to confirm all my info (including address and a secondary phone), staff shouldn't be asking me what's the worst thing I've seen with my job, and they shouldn't ignore the customer their helping when I'm returning vehicle to ask if I had a bad case today. I most likely won't be coming back here. read more

I have used Enterprise car rental many times at this exact location in fact and am a member of their rewards group. I reserved a compact car for a few days I was going to be in town I picked this location because I stay near there and have them pick me up They were to come to my hotel but I never heard from them so I called them to confirm I was told by their manager Madison that since it was Spring break all the cars were gone except two which both needed oil changes She said she would look for another car for me and call me back within two hours but I never heard back from her I called again and she told me she had two cars but both had broken windshields so she could not rent them out. I could hear giggling in the background. I finally got them to bring me a car which was much nicer but they wanted me to pay for the upgrade. I finally got them to give me the car for the same price since their delay made me late to my meeting and was 4 hours late. I That's why I gave them a 2 star, but that manager, Madison is a joke and needs to go! read more

When I picked up the car (2018 Toyota Camry) the car was not cleaned. Previous renters trash and items in the car. Dead bugs and wasps inside the car, windshield was dirty and impaired driving conditions. Charged me $150 more than what they said on the website when i made the reservation. Telling me I had to buy the insurance. Would not recommend the company or even consider Alamo again. Spent $438 for a trash can. Completely disgusted. read more

If i could give this place zero stars i would!! absolutely awful service. my bf and i visited san antonio texas and decided to rent a car for one day to visit the natural bridge caverns. We called the day before and arranged to rent a car and were told that we would be picked up at our hotel at 9am and then brought back to enterprise to finish up some paperwork and then be on our way. Well the next day came and 9am came and went ,, 910 915 till finally my bf called and was told by the associate that they were back logged on cars and were not even finished w the reservations for 8am. they were never going to call us and tell us that they were running late and i mean very late. so we Uber to the enterprise where there is literally only one person sitting waiting for a car besides us. This takes about another 45 minutes until we are able to secure a vehicle. Then when we are suppose to drop the vehicle back off we are told that we will be able to get a ride back to the hotel by one of the associates ... Which ofcourse does not happen. We are told the last ride has left for the day and we are SOL and need to find our own transportation home after dropping the vehicle back. We wound up using the razor scooter app and driving back to our hotels using the motorized scooters because the walk was just way too far. Their customer service was horrible and i can honestly say after this experience that i will never ever use an enterprise again... ZERO STARS!!! but hey atleast they smiled at you when they told you to find your own way there and back.... what a joke read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is my preferred car rental agency. However, this was the first time a staff member became increasingly angry because I wouldn't buy the additional insurance or upgrade my rental. In fact, she added an additional day to our reservation which my family member caught before I signed. When we questioned her about this she simply shrugged it off and said she marked the wrong return time without apologizing. She then tossed the keys to me. Her demeanor and reaction was so joltIng I asked her what happened. She never responded and walked away. I understand staff may get a commission from up selling but this was the first time I experienced this level of pressure and anger from a staff member. Returning the vehicle was extremely easy and the staff on this day were incredibly courteous and helpful. read more

We were staying at a hotel on the Riverwalk, they picked us up promptly and it took all of 5 minutes to get us on the road once we got back to their office. I cannot say anything bad about our experience. We won't pick you up should be this places slogan. My parents are in town and booked a rental car through Enterprise. Enterprise told them they would bring a car to the hotel at 10am. 10:30, no car is there. My dad calls every half hour each time Enterprise says the car is on the way. They were clearly lying the entire time. As a result, we missed our lunch reservations. The hotel my parents were staying at told us they couldn't wait until their contract with Enterprise was up because this happens routinely. We ended up canceling and going with Hertz instead, which was cheaper anyway. read more

Rented car online while visiting San Antonio. Then we purchased our tickets for Six Flags. The local center then calls and tells us cars are not available. How were we supposed to get to the amusement park without a car? Didn't want to pay an outrageous Uber fare. You can guess the mayhem afterwards. I am not an entitled, everything is negative Yelp reviewer. However this service and this response of this Enterprise Franchise was just terrible. Had a mixed experience. The guy who checked us in yesterday morning tried to upsell us on EVERYTHING. We booked the car in advanced but when we arrived he said it wouldn't be ready for an hour but we could upgrade for $5. When we pushed back he said we got there earlier than expected-- we booked it for 9:30 and arrived at 9:28. Eventually he agreed to not charge us the extra $5. Then he tried to scare us into buying extra insurance. He told us there were tons of bumpy roads on the way to our destination which wasn't true at all (that was a lie, everything was perfectly paved and it later became clear he hadn't been to this place at all). He also told us there had been a ton of hit and runs in the area, crazy drivers, and animals. We just wanted to get going and this made our experience very unpleasant. It's instances like this that make me not want to rent cars. However, the woman who drove us home when we returned the car was great! Very fast, efficient, and friendly. read more

The reason I chose this branch was that I arrived to Texas aboard the Amtrak Sunset Limited from Los Angeles and this was the closest branch to the depot . The distance is a reasonable length but I wouldn't recommend the walk during the height of the day. I rented a car from this Enterprise location July 4th weekend. I rented the car on Friday, July 1st and I was scheduled to return in on Sunday, July 3rd. Everything was very good about this rental, except one thing.....They did not tell me they would be closed on Sunday (July 3) and Monday (July 4). The problem being that if I would have known that, I wouldn't have rushed down to the rental place to make it in time to get the car back by the "deadline" and waited outside for over 45 minutes until another rental customer told me they were closed. There was no sign on the door to let anyone know they were closed. It wasted a lot of time. I could have spent more time with family/friends, as they live 30 minutes from this location. The employees were very nice and helpful while I was there, it really surprised me that they would not inform me of their holiday hours/closing. read more
