    Go anywhere else. This company does not have sufficient customer service. They also have horrible hours on the weekends.

Picked up the vehicle it was dirty inside and out and they said they weren't able to even wash the outside. Looked like someone spilt a milkshake in the back and there were ants all over the inside of the car. Not to mention one of the tires went flat within 30 minutes of getting it. No one answered at the pick up location in Katy so I give the choice to drive the car all the way to Houston airport or Austin... I was headed to San Antonio. Finally got them to allow me pick up a new car in San Antonio. This is after of course waiting to get a spare tire put on and taking it to a maintenance shop so they can patch the tire. Get to San Antonio and they wouldn't take the vehicle. Stating I took it to an unauthorized dealer and they have no record of me getting a new car. Had to spend a bunch of time on the phone with customer service then the airport location finally got everything they needed and apologized and said I o longer owed all the additions they were previously going to charge me. New car was great (so I thought) it was at least clean on the inside and out however the next day again a flat tire. Because it was drivable they have me go to another shop. It took forever for maintenance to approve the transaction then the Hertz maintenance worker asked if I had time to get a complete inspection, oil change and a few other things done on the vehicle since I was there. WTF ... I'm like am I on Hertz payroll now? Am I getting paid for this or at least a discount or a free rental since I'm now spending more than half my vacation getting their vehicles fixed... nope nothing. Worst ever. This is now the third time renting with a hertz and each time has been horrible. And each time has resulted in me having to pick up another vehicle out of my way. Third time is NOT a charm. I've rented so many times with enterprise and have never had this experience. Worst part went to drop it off. Was told that they are closed because the person went home early then a random valet dude was like I'll drive it below with the rest of the hertz vehicles... WTF ... no I need to tell them about this experience. Someone ends up coming back after being on the phone forever. He says he's going to give me a discount but didn't. Charged me exactly the same. I will NEVER deal with Hertz again but especially their Katy, San Antonio airport or San Antonio downtown Marriott location. They are all trash. I'm surprised Marriott lets that trash take space in their building. If you want an unsafe vehicle that's dirty and tires that have no air or get flat quick and a place that has poor customer service make sure to hit up those locations - they specialize in it!

Her name is Brittany and she is the reason I will now only rent vehicles from Hertz. I travel often for business, but this trip was due to a death in our family. We had to put the trip together in a matter of an hour and were very stressed at the time. After we reached our destination our travel plans had to change. I was concerned that this change was going to cost a lot of money, but in these kind of situations, often there is nothing you can do. After speaking with your national number and not getting any relief on the change fees, I called and spoke to the San Antonio airport center. Brittany showed genuine compassion and concern and was able to save me a substantial amount of money. This was not necessary, but I think she knows that sometimes it's about more than a dollar. She got it right and as a result, me and everyone I work with and talk to will be doing business with Hertz from here on out. My only regret is that I didn't have a chance to thank her in person as we were rushed to make our flight. Please pass on our sincere gratitude to her!!

Upon arriving at the desk, there were only a couple people in front of him and multiple clerks working the desk so waiting was not a problem like many reviewers said. Phew. Unfortunately, he felt beaten down by the upselling. Remember, he paid already... asking about an upgrade. No. Asking about additional insurance (even more than he paid for through Priceline). No. Etc. He said they asked him for multiple things and wouldn't take no for an answer and had to say no at least 3x for each thing they suggested. He understands they want to make money but he paid for what he wanted and just wanted to get the car he picked online. Period. He used words as "obnoxious" and "annoying" when describing the scenario. Needless to say, he was happy with the price from Priceline but wishes to avoid the upselling in the future. Unfortunately, 2-stars due to the hassle from the clerk.

When we presented a valid Mexican driver's license for our prepaid rental, Kenny took it and said, "Oh, Mexican, I will need to verify this," he rejected it. I asked to use an alternate license or switch the main driver, and he said no again Sixt Phone Customer Service confirmed this is standard policy, and other local Sixt employees even stepped in and tried to process our rental. However, Kenny went out of his way to overrule his own colleagues. He even refused to let us make a new reservation under someone else (with a valid Texas license even), stated "I am not taking anyone from your group," smiled, and physically gestured for us to leave sixt. Denying a paid service and banning an entire group over the national origin is completely unacceptable. We walked over to another agency (Alamo) who accepted our documents immediately and rented there.

We were greeted by a sympathetic team member Gerry (Jerry) sorry didn't catch the spelling, who helped my wife and I get situated and was awesome BTW. I had left my phone, unbeknownst to me, at the welcome booth and was looking all over for it while we were waiting to exit and another team member(sry didn't catch his name) ran it over to us and did so with a smile. Really felt like it was above and beyond as they were busy with other customers. Upon returning the car, Jasmine, Jeff, Tyler and another man that I didn't catch the name of, were courteous, helpful and again going above and beyond, helped me with the second leg of my journey. For a work portion I had rented a different level car (cheaper for my company). I asked how much it would be to keep the car I currently had. I was told that they would allow me to use the current car at the price I had agreed to for the lower model. It's probably not a big deal to them, but not having to move all of our stuff and keeping the car that we were enjoying made a huge impact on us. Thanks SAT team. You did a phenomenal job.

I had a free rental day from points, leaving me a balance of $10 & some change. On check-in, (which I couldn't do online this time for some reason), the friendly agent confirmed the free day, amount in taxes, rental times, car type & insurance info. Driver's license & credit card on file, no additional deposit charged. I booked directly with enterprise online. We headed to the lot & were directed to our car with the keys inside, proceeded to the gate where the id was checked and we were on our way - total 10min. The car was as expected... actually, scratch that. We weren't expecting heated seats & were greeted with a toasty surprise when we hopped in on this uncharacteristically chilly day in TX. Return signage was clear & it was easy to navigate. It was the first time we've had the car inspected with reflective disks on return to check for hidden hood dings.. They must take damages seriously. We were clear though, so, all good in my book. Email rcpt was in my box by the time we hit the gate. Well worth $10 for a 24hr visit to my hometown!
