They had online check in which expedited things significantly. Then the lady who we went to get the car, Seraiah was fabulous. Her bright, happy attitude made me so happy (we'd had a horrible trip until that point). She went above and beyond to make us feel valued. It really meant so much because not only was she efficient at her job, but the extra energy and friendliness helped me calm down after the awful airport experience. Then the lady at the gate who checked out the selected car was also exceptionally friendly and easy to talk to. The lady who checked us in at drop off was also awesome. I don't know what is going on at this Enterprise for them to have such cheerful, awesome employees. I loved it. No stress, minimal wait, exceptional customer service. 5+ stars for this Enterprise.

They provided a confirmation code that did not coincide and was not findable by their system. Renita was persistent and made it happen by trying different search methods. HOWEVER, beside the service Renita provided, it was not the best experience. I had thought that because it was directly at the airport that the experience would be quicker than renting from a spot outside of the airport. Boy I was wrong. There were many counters at this rental car area and the only one with a long line was Alamo. I thought, "just my luck". They seemed severely understaffed and overworked. I felt for the staff. If you have extra time you want to kill - by all means rent through Alamo@ Charlotte Airport. If you are trying to leave the airport ASAP, then I do not recommend. Unfortunately, because of my poor experience, I would be hesitant to rent from Alamo, at least this location, in the future.

I also got the Insurance through Priceline , not Budget since it was cheaper. I don't usually get the insurance , but since I was going to be staying in Myrtle Beach for a few days I wanted to be covered since theft , vandalism , and such are a problem now more there. I still love Myrtle Beach though. I also visited friends and family in both NC and SC. After having it a couple days I noticed a charge for the Insurance through Budget. I tried calling several times and couldn't get through to the airport location. When I called the 1-800 number ( in India ) they wouldn't take it off and said I would have to talk to the airport location itself either on the phone or upon return. When I returned it I spoke with one of the reps and they took it off and said on my Hertz Gold it has me automatically taking the insurance , so I went online and changed that. I never had it set on my account and last time I rented I didn't get charged , but somehow it got changed to authorize insurance upon rental. Of course the walk from the terminal in Charlotte to your rental car area is terrible and they were doing some remodeling. Since I'm Hertz Gold I went directly to the car area and went inside the office there to get my keys , contract , etc and find out where my car was parked , it was right next to the office. The car was clean and I inspected for damage and it all looked good. When I drove out to the gate I noticed the low tire pressure light on one of the tires and it was only down a couple pounds according to the gauge. I stopped at like a 7-11 with an air pump and added a few pounds and was on my way. A few days later the light comes on again and I added air again to the tire. I didn't see any nails in the tire or anything like that , slow leak. I spent almost a week in Myrtle Beach and the last day again I had to add air to the tire before heading back to Charlotte. When I arrived I told them about the tire and it needed to be checked or replaced. The car was nice to have and I had the top down almost the entire trip , the weather was perfect. It got pretty good MPG too , more than my own car. Of course it had all the tech stuff for the radio and Navigation.

Upon return of the vehicle I mentioned to the agent Nicole that I got a compact and not a mid size vehicle. I mentioned that I had to add oil and air and she completely surprised me when she gave me my total. She apologized and went more than the extra mile on this rental. I have never rented a car from dollar but after this experience I plan to rent in the future. Nicole thank you for making my experience today a memorable one at that. I was told that a text from an employee was sent to my phone before closing of the previous day, stating such. Must have been from an unidentified number because I deleted when the first word said "Hi", thinking it's spam. Very unprofessional. Long story short, I ended up wasting a whole bunch of time in the process, canceling the entire rental, and taking my personal vehicle on the road. There was quite a long list of customers they had to call to inform there were no cars. Stop being greedy and have proper inventory! It doesn't take a genius! I've NEVER made a hotel reservation, only to be told they don't have any rooms at check in.

I am traveling from the west coast for a wedding and, to my surprise, there were no rental cars available at any of the major rental agencies. I checked EVERY single agency, even in the greater Charlotte area, not just the airport. Nothing on Expedia. So I searched Google maps for car rentals and, to my good fortune, found Montgomery Enterprise. Ms. Montgomery was an angel. She was so kind, personable and helpful. The rental rates were very reasonable. She even kept her office open after normal office hours just to accommodate me because of my late flight. She didn't have to do that and, in my experience, not many businesses these days offer that kind of service to their customers. Ms. Montgomery was warm, professional, welcoming and solution-oriented. If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you Ms. Montgomery! And I wish you and your family great abundance in every aspect of your lives.

I eventually contact their Priceline and they said that it would be on Mega MC TO ADJUST THE PRICE. SO NO ONE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. I guess this is what happens when you book through a site to try to save some money. You end up getting bit in the butt The car we received was very damaged on the outside, so I made sure to take pictures and videos to show the damage that was already there I would not rent from here again, even if it meant saving $100

Having the reservation at 8 but no one was available to get the car resulted in me not even receiving the vehicle to get to my destination. I tried calling again later in the day to get a hold of someone and still got no response, so I was disappointed with this company and left to go find other services to get to my destination.

Waited just over half an hour. First world problems. Arrived and was second in line. Only one person behind the counter and possibly the business (aside of the shuttle driver). He not only handled the behind the counter paperwork, but also was the staff member to hand off the car. Keep in mind, I was second in line, meaning I had to wait for the person in front of me to be taken care of. Whatever the case - car was upgraded as it was all they had left. No extra charge. Score ... No issues with the car. Minor scratches here and there but that's expected wear and tear with a rental. Drop off was fairly quick. Though if you need an early drop off - know that this isn't a 24 hour operation. Dropped the car off - turned in the keys and jumped on the first shuttle right as they opened for business. Made it to the airport ahead of time. Anyway, other than the wait for to pick up the rental, which I'm not even salty about - everything was fine. Because of the inability to drop off - say at 5AM, that would probably be the only reason I wouldn't rent from here again.
