I told him I'd be on my way out of the country and needed one way so I rented a car for one way with same day drop off at Logan Airport. He said the rate I was quoted was low. That's what I was quoted. Why not then negotiate? There was obviously a problem. BUT, I just said the car wasn't coming back here or today, I needed one way, drop off at Logan on the same day. He printed the paperwork and handed me my keys. The car with full tank was returned that day to Logan--October 14th. On the 18th, I was charged $758.77 for a weekly rental with a failure to return it to the same place. A four hour rental. He knew I thought I was renting one way, same day rental return to Logan. Why not renegotiate my contract before sending me? I have a public presence and will share this as often as I am able. I'll do whatever else I can. There is NO reason to EVER rent a car from this Hertz. The could have made a good amount of money with an ethical rental. I should have read everything. I know that. Do you?
