I received a call today from U Haul reservations and they told me that I would have to drive to WI to pick up the truck, a 4 hour round trip. Needless to say, I was angry and felt deceived by Adam. If he had been honest with me when I went into his office, I would have cancelled my reservation and gone elsewhere. His deceptive and misleading information has caused me delay and inconvenience but he didn't care. he did absolutely nothing to help me. At that moment, Northern Lights Taxi, who had brought us from Lake Placid to Saranac Lake Airport, was unloading our bags. He saw our trouble and made a few calls to other airports. None would help, so Derrick of Northern Light Taxi Service said he would take us to our Hotel in Boston. We loaded our stuff, and he got his co-pilot, Geneva, and for the next 5 hours or so, drove us through the rain and traffic to the hotel. We talked and learned about the cities and areas we rode through that night. When we got home, Derrick called to check if we had indeed made it back. In closing, if you are in need of a taxi service that you can trust to get you from point A to point B, then our recommendation is Northern Lights Taxi Serves.

Everything. My room was huge (King suite). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable too. The towels were soft and there were plenty of them. I really don't like the way that the air conditioning is set up. It shuts off a lot, making the room far too warm for me nightly. The lobby is huge, it is clean and organized. The breakfast was good enough for me. In the evening there is plenty to eat within walking distance and I enjoyed them all. This Country Inn & Suites is a very nice place to stay.

Reception is small with two seats for guest use. Breakfast area is behind reception. Elevator is behind the two seats. Room is in good condition. Lights next to bed and in vestibule. Bathroom fan and light on one switch. Fan is a 'normal' volumn. Tub/shower is newer, good pressure, plenty of hot water, shampoo and conditioner multi-use bottles mounted to wall. Plenty of vanity space for your items. Coffee pot on vanity, multi-use lotion mounted near light switch. Towels are thin but very clean and absorbant. Hotel changes towels every third day and we were given only two. Bath mat is very plush and absorbant. A luggage rack is in the closet area as are an iron and board. We had a King plus room which means there is an extra seat. I like a seat other than the bed so for me, it was worth the extra cost. Besides said seat are a coffee table, which made a good second luggage rack, and a side table. Good size TV, dresser, desk area (which we use) fridge, microwave, ice bucket all on the wall across from the bed. The bed seems to be designed to make an impact, not for comfort. Quite high off the ground, my feet don't touch once up there. I felt like I was sleeping in a depression and my back quickly began to bother me. Pillows are quite lofty. The antithesis of a flat hotel pillow. So lofty I slept without a pillow. The sheets were quite soft. The heating/cooling unit in the room was super loud. Not normal, older unit loud, really loud. It was humid and we turned it on and off as needed to stay cool and less sticky but once in bed without the a/c it became quite warm in the room until the overnight temp outside dropped enough to cool the room. Breakfast buffet is toaster items, hot items, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice. Basic breakfast. A small fridge holds cream cheese and milk for cereal. Everything was kept clean throughout the hotel. Parking is easy in/out of the lot. Gas station on corner before highway, grocery store nearby, restaurants across the street.

I went to the check in counter three times to request a different room. They finally told me the manager said it was "peeling black paint." I have breathing problems and was unable to stay here.
