It looks like it's been about a year, so, time for an update on our experiences since then. I want to take a moment before anything else to express my gratitude for the LOCATION at the airport. In the last few months, I've ridden countless cramped busses that I've waited up to an hour for, just to get to my car & again to get to the airport. I've gained an event greater appreciation for this one. Now, the rest: The app works well. Online reservations are easy to create, modify & check-in to. There are frequent deals to book under & points are added quickly after completion. Online check-in allows you to skip the desk here & head straight to the lot. The upsell push isn't too pushy, just a casual "I can put you in xx for xx more" while heading to your booked rental. There's no push back on decline. Vehicles have always been clean & in good repair. The return is equally as easy, adding little to no time to your airport arrival for catching a flight. It's actually quicker than regular parking and possibly faster that a hotel shuttle. Availability can be an issue (a rideshare driver told us there's a program in place with rideshare drivers & that often means no availability- as they use rentals instead of their personal vehicles- not sure if that's still on place as this was a while back & I can usually get a car now if there are no major events.) Pricing has recently increased & our work discount rarely saves anything anymore, tho it does tack on the insurance, so, small bonus, I suppose. It's also slightly less than rideshares if you're going for just one day & would require 2 or more rides. read more

Had a great experience renting from this Enterprise location while traveling in Minneapolis. The staff was friendly, efficient, and got me in and out quickly, which is always appreciated at an airport. The car was clean and in great condition, making for a hassle-free rental. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the selection of available cars was a bit limited, but overall, the process was smooth and convenient. Even the car return was super easy, usually it's difficult to find the rental drop offs but this was a breeze! Would definitely rent from this location again! read more

Top Notch Service! We had a short wait in line to fill out paperwork. We were given a contact number if we had any difficulties. we chose the dealer choice option for the car. The young lady who gave us our options was very friendly and helpful. They were expeditious in checking us out of the parking structure. They had two lines going and they were both super friendly.. Previous to my arrival at Minneapolis airport, I had reserved a midsize car, any car. When I arrived, I was offered a big Jeep Rubicon, which I had no idea how to use. It was a hybrid & I had to ask how to get the windows down! However, once I was on my way, it was acceptable for the week I was there I would've preferred another car, but it did the job of driving around different areas to look for where we wanted to be or to purchase a home. It was very tough for me to get into because I'm short, but when I returned the car, I simply said it wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was OK. Without any further comments, I was given a credit and I really appreciated that because it was an expensive trip and we are thinking of moving out there, so I wouldn't go anywhere but Enterprise, for that reason alone! However, Enterprise needs better signs at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport! read more

He sent us up stairs to retrieve our car and that went smoothly. A upgrade and no charge for gas...sweet. The car was clean enough and the overall service was professional friendly. On September 22nd I had a reservation for a car. I landed and proceeded to car rental area where I stood in line for an hour to be waited on. Then told I would have to wait an additional hour for an actual car. So in short I am still sitting in the car terminal waiting on a car 3 hours after my flight landed on time. Enterprise is above all others. The staff is 90%! Excellent and the ones who aren't are either too new or just the wrong type for the. Job. Never a bad experience with the cars, always new and upgrades are easy to request. I would Uber for two days if I had to wait on an enterprise car to become available, but that's rare. If you've got a problem with someone just politely remind them you travel a lot and could choose any other car company. That usually does the trick. read more

I picked up a rental at MSP and walked the car for damage and had the employee walk the car with me so I can point out all the damage. Everything I pointed out he verified and said it was already documented but I still took pictures of the damage for my own sake. When I returned the car, same thing. I pointed out all the damage and he verified it was all documented. 2 days after my dropping off the rental and I am already back home, some employee from Enterprise calls me stating a portion of the damage was not documented and tried to accuse me of damaging the vehicle. I stated it was already there and verified both when I piced up the car and dropped it off. This person said this particular damage was not documented so I said I will send you a picture of it when I picked up the car with a time stamp so I sent it to him. Have not heard back as of yet but I assume this matter is dropped as I did state if they try to charge me for it, they will be sued. I also alerted my credit card company of this attemted scam for back up. Moral of the story here is always take pictures of any damage before you leave the lot otherwise, these scammers (being Enterprise) will try to make you pay for damage you never did. Needless to say, I will never rent from Enterprise again. Way too many options where they will not try to scam you. read more

After 2 bad experiences at MSP - hertz, thrifty - I went back to Enterprise. The staff at Enterprise were courteous, professional, honest (unlike the other places....). They had a car for me in 5 minutes even though I didn't have a reservation. The other deadbeat places had overbooked on my 2 previous reservations and I was stuck with waits times greater than 1.5 hours. Enterprise knows how to run a successful business that serves the customer at a fair price. read more

Enterprise at MSP airport. Staff seemed inexperienced. I had to remind them that I haven't given my credit card for charges. I was asked if I wanted to refill my gas on my own which I always do. I was not told my tank only had 6 gallons of fuel, I only saw this once on the road and the gas alarm went off. I ended up returning the car with a full tank which is the usual when I use other car rentals. I have contacted customer service and yet to hear of a response. My Enterprise experience from MSP has been unacceptable and I will not use them again. read more

I flew in very late well pass 11:00 pm central time, I was exhausted coming from San Francisco, and James the awesome manager, I believe that was his name, just gave the best service. He took my ID, told me my company had already taken care of everything, and in a few seconds, I was upgraded at no charge with my very own 2016 Nissan Maxima for a few days with GPS included!! Then, in less than 10 minutes, I was in my vehicle, heading to my hotel for a "check-in!!" It was that easy!" The experience went pretty smooth. The reason for the 1 star is that we reserved a certain size vehicle weeks in advance. Even received confirmations. When we get to the desk no problem the get our info and confirm our order. When we go to get the car they don't have that vehicle. We could have waited for them to find one on another lot but we were trying to get on the road and had all our luggage and such with us. So we had to upgrade. Typical bait and switch = disappointing. We were in Minnesota for the weekend and had a packed schedule so we opted to rent a car from Enterprise. A couple of weeks beforehand, we had made a reservation online which was very easy to do. The check-in process was by no means quick but soon enough, we were paired up in a 2017 Ford Focus. The car was nice, it had only about 3000 miles on it so it was a great ride. The return process was much quicker and easier as all we had to do was bring the car back! We returned our car a little bit before the time we had initially listed in the reservation so the cost was cheaper than originally quoted. I gave this feedback in their contact us section of enterprise.com. They told me it would be 72 hours for a response from their management team. It's been 8 days. I left this same review on Google. Their response was to email them the details. Which I did- it then put me I to the same que and the same email address that I've been with already dealing with and not getting a response from. I can not believe the run around that you are giving me. I've used Enterprise for years. God forbid your respond to a problem. Renters beware!!!!! Extremely disappointing experience. I started in Minneapolis on 10/12 and was supposed to drop off in GRB on 10/18. The Toyota Tacoma that I started with broke down on the highway 25 miles from the closest Enterprise location and five miles outside of the closest town on 10/15. I was an 90 mins into a 4 1/2 hour drive. I called to get a tow truck but there was no solution from your call center to how I was going to get to the Enterprise location. I am the one that had to call around to several Enterprise locations to see if a car was available- why would your call service not do that??? I was under contract with you- why would you not have provided me a way to get to an Enterprise location? Where I was in Wisconsin - there was no Uber or Lyft available- trust me I tried. I had literally NO WAY to get to the nearest Enterprise location. I finally made a reservation with the one in Eau Claire, Wi. The clerk said that as long as I got there by five, he would have a car available. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET THERE WITHOUT THE CAR THAT I HAD RENTED????????? When the tow truck driver got there, I pleaded with him to give me a ride, 50 miles round trip for him OUT OF HIS WAY. He had to ask his dispatch if he was even allowed to do that! I paid him $100 cash and he said he would be able to take me. So, let me get this straight- I rent a car from you. YOUR car breaks down. YOU give me ZERO ways to get to another car. I, YOUR CUSTOMER, have to BRIBE a tow truck driver to drive me 50 miles round trip out of HIS WAY to take me to a location. I am thankful that he was able to do that. I would have paid him more if I would have had to- this isn't his fault- he is just doing his job- this is YOUR FAULT. To add insult to injury. I paid for a pickup truck $711.98- the only car that the Eau Claire location had available was a Sentra. Not the same class or the same price- yet your charged me the same amount. I got to Green Bay later that evening, FIVE HOURS late I traded the car in the next day at your Appleton location. I wasted MY TIME on MY VACATION, to turn in the car. And again, to add insult to injury, no trucks- only a Nissan Rogue. So again, you charged me $711.98 for a truck rental. I had a Tacoma, a Sentra and a Rogue... but yet I still get charged the same. The overall experience was horrendous. I am requesting the following- My $100 back that I gave the tow truck back the difference in cost between a Tacoma, Sentra and Rogue. A deep discount on my overall bill for my awful experience and my time wasted with your terrible logistics and inability. read more

We came to town to go to Mayo Clinic Rochester and needed a car rental. The airport was easily labeled to find Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The car rental is expensive!! Way more than I've ever paid but it was the most affordable car rental at the airport so I guess prices are just higher here or possible because of COVID. The line to get the car was very long, took about 20-30 min and unfortunately they had their indoor desk closed so you had to wait in the hot parking garage. But they seemed to be training 4 or 5 new guys so I'm sure it will be faster soon. Car is nice. I will update at the end of our trip. read more

I'm a fan of Enterprise. It's an employee-owned company, and it seems like you can always tell with the service. I've always been treated exceptionally. The Minneapolis location was no different. I picked up my vehicle from the airport and headed downtown. While on my trip, I realized I would need a bigger car for some minor hauling I'd need to do at my conference. So I went back to the rental office and was greeted by super nice staff, and one of them walked with me in their lot until we found something that worked. Easy in & on my way process. The counter check-in experience took hardly no time. I was greeted outside the counter by a friendly salesman. He allowed me to choose what car I wanted. I had a choice between a Prius & a Kia Soul. Although I didn't need the extra room, I went with the Kia. I was out the parking garage in less that 10 minutes. had the fortunate experience of catching a ride back from the hotel to the airport with two fellow Canadians who rented a vehicle. the experience with dropping off the vehicle was absolutely painless, it was actually more painful getting to the drop off part, rather then the dropping off of the vehicle. once we got to the spot, handed over the keys, quick visual inspection and gas level check and we were dismissed. for a drop off at 7am, this group of employees were super happy, friendly, and professional. quick easy efficient just the way I like it. would highly recommend. read more

After hearing about my extended Covid related travel she went into her computer system to try to find a better daily rate to reduce my rental expense which was almost $1000. Given the additional expenses associated with my extended stay, I cannot Thank her and Alamo enough for giving me a discount to make my rental car expense more palatable. Alamo customer for life. I just couldn't rent a car. I am a new US resident and I showed up at front desk located at Terminal 1 of Minneapolis Airport. The man at front desk asked me to show my license, but he said that they wouldn't be able to give me a car since my license was Probationary. Honestly I have never used that license to rent a car, so I decided to show my Foreign International license too, the same license that I have used many times to rent a car from different companies (Hertz, Avis, Thrifty and even Enterprise at different locations). Both of my licenses were still valid, but the man at front desk said that even so they wouldn't be able to give me a car under the poor excuse that my Foreign license were older than my US license and that invalidates the Foreign one. I lost about 20 minutes of my precious time dealing with a man that works for a company with Xenophobic guidelines. read more

This Review may never get read, because let's face it, are you really basing where you rent your car on a Yelp review? Probably not, but my experience here two weeks ago was so flawless and smooth I have to write something. I flew in to this Airport in a blizzard and was just ready to "Get The Hell Out Of Dodge". To be greeted warmly within minutes of arriving at the desk and to be quickly given the run down of options and the rental/return process was a good sign. When I was walked out to my car to find it running and with the heated seats and heat already on was a really nice touch. Returning the car the following day was a 2 minute process, starting with another friendly greeting "welcome back. How was your trip? Did you like the car?", just made me a raving fan. I only rent a few times a year and I can tell you that the team at this enterprise should be the example for rental places everywhere. Now if only anyone cared to read this :/ read more
