Don't go here the food is super expensive and not good! I don't mind spending money on delicious food but this ain't it! We go the falafel, a Greek salad and a meat combo I believe it was the shishek and kabob. The rice that came with the combo was lackluster and the meat had an odd taste! After a gym session and a Target trip, my boyfriend and I were hungry. We were going to go to Aviva, but realized they're closed on Sundays. Wanting a similar genre of food, I searched the internet for places near us. Up popped Lavash, so we decided to give it a try. The unassuming restaurant is situated at the Chevron gas station. Don't let that detract you! When you step inside, you order at the counter. The girl taking our order was polite, and the service was quick. My boyfriend and I shared an appetizer sampler to start (small portion of hummus, labneh, dolmeh, and babaghanoush). Everything was done so well. The hummus was thick and flavorful, the labneh was (wal)nutty and creamy, the grape leaves were tangy and earthy, and the baba ghanoush was smoky and rich. For my meal, I got the salmon wrap (served with house seasoning, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and tzatziki sauce), and my boyfriend got the grilled salmon plate entre (salmon filet marinated with house special season, served with basmati rice, grilled tomatoes, onion, lemon, and a side of tzatziki sauce). In a small strip, next to a gas station is this small restaurant with few seating inside primarily a to-go spot. we ordered multiple items including Gyro's, Chicken Shawarma, Koobideh, Chenjeh, Beef Soltani and Lentil Soup. each entree comes with Rice, grilled veggies and tzitziki sauce. They have always been a go to when I am needing a fix for any type of middle eastern food. This place I like to call a "poor man's" Sufi's which isnt an insult as I feel they deliver with consistency. I always get their Koobideh Kabob which comes with long rice, a tomato, onions and a lemon. I typically get this as a door dash order because the food prices and fees are reasonable. My only experience within the establishment was a good one. The kabob tastes like the kabobs I would get at Sufi's which is saying something I feel. So if you're looking for a place that is reasonable in price compared to other places that are high end like Sufi's but want that cuisine then Lavash would be the place for you. It was nothing to write home about, but I keep coming back. read more

Great location. Yes, it's next to a gas station and this is not the place for fine dining, but it's a great place to stop through for a tasty middle eastern lunch. The sharazi salad is perfect on a hot humid Atlanta day and their gyro wrap is a superb way to stay full for the day. The ladies great patrons with a smile and the meal is prepared with care. Lavash is attached to a gas station, but don't let that dissuade you from ordering! The food was great! Here's what we got: - Hummus ($5.99): Delicious. After fasting for 10 hours, I decided to break my fast with a gyro as I had a huge craving. Service wise, it was very pleasant. The cashier greeted me with his amazing smile and warmth. The food took about 15 minutes to get in my hands. I ordered the gyro sandwich. While unwrapping it, the gyro was hot and smelled awesome. My first bite was where things went left. The meat was salty and dried out. It was like the meat was sitting out all day under a warming lamp. There was barely any sauce so that made the sandwich even more unappetizing. I went there because I was in the area and needed something quick. A brief search showed that this place had good ratings so I decided to give it a try. The owner's description states that they use fresh ingredients and their food is authentic. The gyro that I ordered was made with a tortilla. Not a pita. Not a lavash (as the name would indicate). A FLOUR TORTILLA. The falafels were obviously processed frozen food that had a very odd taste and were still cold on the inside. The "tzatziki" was watery and flavorless and mixed with pickles. Not cucumbers and dill. Dill pickles. I took two bites of this atrocity and promptly dropped it in the trash where it belonged. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place. Came for take out during COVID mid afternoon, it was empty, took a while for the food to be made. We ordered the gyro plate and chicken schwarma plate and a side of baba ganoush. Both plates came with the protein, rice, a tiny bit of onions and pita. The gyro was dry, little bit tough/crispy and barely tasted like anything. The chicken schwarma was more like chicken curry and not anything like schwarma. The bulk of the dish was the rice, which was bland and had little flecks of yellow rice in it. The onions were nearly raw, barely sprinkled with herbs. The pita were store bought "toasted" pita, but more burnt. The babaganoush was burnt tasting and did not have any flavor. It had a slightly off putting consistency. All the food lacked any real flavor or freshness that they tout. The service was pleasant, overpriced for what you get. I've been wanted to try this little spot for awhile, finally got over there. Lack luster is my initial reaction to the food. I read reviews & my expectations were elevated, unfortunately. The fries only come in 1 size for $5, while it's a LV portion, no one needs that many fries, especially when they are tasteless. There is some sort of red spice, maybe paprika, but they tasted like nothing until I salted them. The only ketchup available was from a bottle that looked very old & over married. The real test was the gyro. I love gyro, I will find the smallest most authentic place in almost any city I visit to have an amazing gyro wrap. There was barely any tzaziki sauce on this wrap & sadly the meat could have been from a bag of frozen gyro slices. The pita was soft & tasty. I wanted to love it, but not happening. Came across this place on accident but glad we did. After a long day the the children's hospital we needed a bite to eat but it was late and almost everything was closed. This place was still open so we decided to give it a try bc we were starving. Online the place looked nice but we were surprised to see that it was a small little spot attached to a gas station. It wouldn't have mattered but we were there at like midnight with a newborn and a toddler. The food was very good. I had the chicken kabobs with the sharazi salad. The chicken was juices and flavorful. The rice was very fluffy and tasty. My husband and brother in law had the chicken shawarma and the beef kabobs . They also really enjoyed their meals so much so, they ordered some to go. Food wise, we were satisfied with our meals and the service. The only thing is that the portions are a bit small and the plates are a bit expensive so it's more of a once in a whole type of meal for us. The staff were nice . We will be back . read more

I pick up from here at least twice a week. No matter how many times I eat from here every single time I am blown away. The food is consistently amazing. I've tried so many things from here and every single thing I had is a 10 out of 10. My favorite is the steak kabob entree plate. For a Togo place the quality of the steak is shocking and the rice is MY FAVORITE. Some other amazing things I've had are the chicken entree, falafel wrap, labneh it's all just delicious.
