It took us a little while to get through immigration/customs etc and when we came out the arrivals entrance he was waiting. The car was a brand new Lincoln and very comfortable and clean. I needed a sedan for #1, a big SUV for #2, and then another sedan---for myself. After doom-scrolling Uber estimates of the $100-$125 per ride (plus the emotional cost of maybe getting a Toyota Corolla that smells like gym socks), I looked online and found Ride In Style. Preet responded fast, quoted me a fair price...honestly...it was only slightly more than what a rideshare would've cost. Worth. Every. Penny. The cars? Clean, spacious, and didn't smell like sadness or Febreze. The drivers? Total pros. They texted us ahead of time, met us at the curb like royalty (no dragging our bags across the airport to find some mystery JFK pickup zone), and were exactly where they said they'd be. The driver (James) was there 15 minutes early, had the car warm and cozy for our trip even had a carafe of hot coffee waiting for us. As the questions by her got more detailed, I was then given a quote! How the F would I even know an advance flight # of greater than 3 weeks away? She needs to go back to bed! Told her NOT to dare call me on my travel date. I'll maybe(not)call her. BTW: too high priced for a lousy sedan. For that price I could get an upgraded Uber. If an operation like this cannot even communicate correctly, how in Gods name will they accurately provide you with timely transportation?!
