This time they had our truck for 4 days to change the struts. They knew we needed our rig back on a specific day. We dropped it off 2 days early so they had ample time to work it. It was time for it to be finished. Didn't hear a word from them, phoned checking to see if it was ready. Nope. They hadn't changed the struts. Didn't even bother to let us know. We had a half hour to get there to pick up our rig. We live 25 minutes away. Save yourself the frustration. Take your rig somewhere else. read more

BAIT & SWITCH! Tuesday morning I found a car on their website with an internet special price of $13,761. I called in and asked if they could go any lower and the gal asked what they would need to do to earn my business and I told them that if they knocked it down $1700 that I would probably come in that same day and buy it. So she said she would check with the manager and she called me back a few minutes later and said that the manager would go down $1500 so a total price of $12,261. So I told her that we would have to figure out if we could get a babysitter since we have four kids under 9. We found someone to watch the kiddos about half hour drive away and dropped them off. Then went in and talked to the same gal and confirmed the price again just to be sure and she said everything was good as did the sales guy she set me up with. We took out the car for a test drive and loved the car. We were basically on cloud 9 thinking that this was going to be the easiest and best car-buying experience we'd ever had since we had already agreed on a price before we came in. Boy were we wrong! After getting back from the test drive the sales rep had us wait at his desk while he talked to the manager. They were in there for a long time then finally he came out and had us go into the sales manager's office. Once in there, the sales manager then proceeded to tell us that the rebates had changed that morning (keep in mind we negotiated the price just a couple hours earlier and the internet price was still on their website) and that there was a miscommunication about the extra $1500 off but in spite of all this that they were going to help us out with the price. He then asked where we were trying to be at on our monthly payments. We told him that we weren't concerned with the payments, just the total price. When he finally told me the price it was $16,500 but he would drop it down $15,500. That's $3239 higher than the price they promised us over and over! Needless to say, we were outraged. The only miscommunication was them lying to us repeatedly about the price until we were ready to sign the papers. I even talked to the manager on the phone later in the week and he decided to stick with the story that the rebates had ended and that it was a miscommunication not bait & switch even though the way things went down it was the very definition of bait & switch. About a year ago, I took my car in for a recall repair, as well as to service the air bag, diagnose front end noise and detail it. I purchased this car from them in 2013 and had been nothing but issues. I had to rent a car to get to and from work and otherwise go about my life. I went in to drop the car off, where the service technician told me that it would be 2 days, max. When he took down my number, I noticed he had written it down incorrectly, so I corrected him. He replied, "No, that's just my handwriting, I have it right." 2 days later, I had heard nothing. I called them to check on the status of my vehicle. The guy says, "Oh, you gave us the wrong phone number" and then informed me that they had not even started the work. I was forced to extend the rental car out another 2 days at this time. A total of 5 days later, I went in to pick up my car only to find out that they had not fixed the airbag, or figured out what the noise was, which had been my main concern. I was charged almost $300 for a detail that took over 5 days. The recall was on the fuel system/gas tank, by the way and since, the service light for the fuel system comes on whenever I put gas in my car. Fast forward to last weekend. My fiancé and I were looking at their cars online and decided to drop by the dealership to look at a particular vehicle in person. The sales gal came out, and we told her we were just quickly looking. She insisted that she run our credit apps and that it would only take 5 minutes. We reluctantly agreed, as we were really just researching at that point. We were told that we should look at a brand new vehicle and asked if we would test drive it and bring back our other vehicle that we were interested in trading. When we returned, we were told that our current lender was interested in financing us again but because it was nearly 6 pm on a Sunday, we should return the next afternoon to "pick up our new vehicle" and were told they would call us in the morning. An hour before our appointment to sign paperwork, I had still not heard from the dealership. I called to confirm. I was told that he didn't have financing for us and that we should wait to hear from him. Glad we didn't waste more of our time, leaving work early, etc., to make this appointment as obviously no one had planned on letting us know beforehand. This was almost 2 weeks ago. Another salesperson from the dealership began texting me, seemingly unaware of the situation. I told her that we had gone in and what had happened. She apologized, told me to call and speak to the manager and gave me the phone number. I've called 4 times and have left 4 voicemails. No one has returned my calls. She texted me last night again, "to follow up." At this point, I told her that we would be going elsewhere. We've purchased 5 vehicles between the 2 of us and referred our family and friends to this dealership and have always been treated with respect. The least they could do is communicate professionally. This time, it has been a horrible experience. Coupled with the issues with the service center, we will not be returning. read more

Just bought new f150. The salesman Bill was as good as it gets, brought my truck in from another dealer for me so I got exactly what I wanted at a fair price. Bill took the time to go over new truck with us showing how everything works (a lot of extra stuff) and encouraged us to ask any questions. I have bought several new vehicles but have never been shown so thoroughly how everything works. They are truly AWESOME and worth the drive. read more

Our experience with this dealership's service department was exceptional. We were just passing through, and needed to have some warranty work done on our truck. Jeb handled everything to meet our schedule. Including arranging for a rental car from enterprise. If anything could have been better, it would be that UPS could have delivered the one and only non-stocked part faster. Still they were able to compete the work on a Saturday. Brian, a service technician, quickly came out, identified the issue (a stripped nut), fixed it using a tap tool, and did it for no charge. We went to the other 3 ford dealerships in the area to get the best deal on a fully equipped F250. The Costco pricing is the best way and they explained every extra that could be purchased but didn't feel the high pressure that we experienced at the other locations. If you are military I don't suggest using this place we used the one in Olympia and filed complaints because they chose not to honor anything they had said they promised me a ford f 150 and we're suppose to of brought it from Chehalis down to Olympia they didn't instead I wasted a whole day trying to find a vehicle with someone our sales rep rich pond us off on the following day that rich new had been sold then told us to try this other ford f 150 that was more and they wanted me to pay for something that I didn't really want. After a few weeks of thinking about the situation I was in, Management at Awesome Ford realized that they had inadvertently put a van into their inventory that had not passed their inspections and they refunded me the amount that we paid the Ford Dealer in Astoria for repairs. They were apologetic that something had slipped through the cracks. read more

The buying experience at Awesome was quickly tainted with their poor follow-up service (the only reason for 2 stars and not 1 star rating was the buying experience). I bought a used truck from Awesome and 3 days later had the front tire tread separate from the sidewall, leaving me stranded on I5 and the need to spend $600 on new front tires. I had responded to several emails received from Awesome management team inquiring on my buying experience and told them what happened. The salesman called me in response to the emails and basically did not care and mysteriously, his call was dropped. I tried to call back but no response and he never called me back. If you buy there, do not expect any service follow-up on your newly purchased vehicle. It is too bad their follow-up policies are so poor because I have not hesitated to tell everyone I know of my experience with Awesome (BTW I write Yelp reviews for both positive and less than positive experiences). I purchased a 2013 Ford Focus from them brand new. I received a letter stating that there was a recall on my transmission. I noticed within a few weeks of receiving the letter my car started shuttering. I have brought my car in 4 time over a period of 10 months to have the necessary repairs done. I kept being told nothing was wrong with my car. On Friday, my transmission failed and left me stranded on the side of the road on my way home. I called the dealership and was instructed to contact Ford Roadside Assistance. Unfortunately, Ford Roadside Assistance was not able to assist me because I was over 60k miles. I ended up calling my insurance company and they were able to partially help with a tow. I tried having my car towed to Awesome Ford to have the repairs done, but I was informed that their gates close at 8:00pm. Since I had to wait over 3 hours for a tow, I was not able to take it to them. I contacted them to pay for my tow bill since I feel they have been NEGLIGENT in not finding the problem in the 4 times I brought my car to them. They have refused paying my tow bill since I was not able to bring my car to them and they claim they were not able to find anything wrong with my car the 4 times I brought it in. They don't care if you are stranded on the side of the road late in the evening! They just don't care in general, once they have your money, they stop caring! read more

We really enjoyed working with Awesome Ford, especially Ed. We had looked at a 2015 Ford Taurus Sho at a local large dealership. We agreed on a price and we went and obtained financing for the specified amount, we returned 2 hours later and they weren't going to honor that price. The next morning we spoke with Awesome Ford and they negotiated and got us the SAME Taurus Sho for much less that the "other guys" ended up wanting. When it comes to buying a new vehicle it can be overwhelming, and for me it was extremely overwhelming. I had never had a good experience looking for a vehicle. I had been avoiding buying a new vehicle for this reason. I had needed one for a while but just didn't want to put myself through that pressure. The sales guys are usually impatient and they always want to push you into car that you really didn't want, or doesn't fit your needs just to make a sale. Not here! When I first stepped onto the lot I really had no idea what I really wanted, I just knew I needed something reliable. Joe was amazing! He was open to all my questions and helped me make up my mind as to what vehicle would best suit my needs and my crazy, busy life. He very patiently showed me everything I wanted to look at and test drive, also checking other lots within the company looking for anything I may like. It took me a while to pick one but I finally found a perfect match. I was everything I was hoping to find, in a vehicle, and in the way I was treated. horrible service. would not recommend and do not ever plan on returning. was in a bit of a pinch to have some repairs done on my car, needed a tdc sensor replacement. called around a few nearby places, and they were the only ones who could get me in that Friday afternoon. brought my car in, and they had told me that my car should be ready for pickup the next day. the next day, I'm told that the repair was taking longer than expected, and that my car would be ready Monday. Monday comes around, and I receive no call updating me on the status of my car. it gets to be late afternoon, so I decide to call, and they inform me that the mechanic working on my car called in sick, and they had no one else to do the repair, and would have to wait until the next day. next day comes, I receive a call saying that they were unable to finish the repair that day, and that I would be able to pick up my car Wednesday. Wednesday, I receive no call and no updates, it gets to be pretty late in the day so I decide to call. they inform me that the repair is not finished, that they'll finish it that day. I receive a call a little later in the day and was told that the repair was done, and that they had to stay past closing time to finish. (boo-hoo.) he told me I could come in the next morning, Thursday to pick up my car and that the repair had been finished. I come in Thursday, and nearly $800 and almost a week later, I finally get my car back. not even 10 minutes into driving my car home, the check engine light turns back on, and I notice my car jerking as it drives and making a loud noise going into vtec (I drive a honda). I have my car diagnosed once again, and received error codes for 5 of my cylinders misfiring, and a vtec system malfunction. so sure they repaired what was needed, but they screwed everything else up in the process! now my car doesn't even run! DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
