Les Schwab was not my first choice due to the wait I knew I would encounter, so I decided to go to Walmart in hopes the wait wasn't as long. Unfortunately, Walmart made it difficult and told me if I didn't want to replace all 4 of my tires I would have to take my tire off and bring it in! It was a flat I needed fixed ASAP. If I was able to take the tire off, I could've just replaced it myself... sigh. On arrival at Les Schwab we were immediately greeted by a worker who was clearly busy. He asked what he could do for me and took a he time to walk me in and relay the message. The customer service at this location has been amazing, and honestly I'd rather spend more and wait a little longer, just to feel like they actually cared about my situation. So I'm glad Walmart has terrible customer service and forced me to spend my money elsewhere! read more

While driving to Seattle, my low tire pressure indicator suddenly activated, causing concern of a leak in rainy Northwest weather after 12 hours on the road. It was just after 6:00 PM, when all nearby tire shops were closed. I pulled into Store 337 on the off chance that I might get a tire assessment so I could continue on to my destination. Mike and Jessie were still on premise, with no obligation to assist me as the business was closed for the day. The exceeded my expectations and pulled my car into the bay, checked my tires and pressure and determined they were fine and the problem was a faulty sensor. They refused my offer to pay them for going above and beyond after hours and they got me on my way, secure in the knowledge that my tires would not cause me to be stranded on the side of the interstate in a rain storm. This is my third time trying to get my sensor replaced. The first two times I made the appointment with my tires to be rotated only to find out they didn't have the sensor in stock. Eventho they knew it was needed when i made the appointment. This last time, today.... I made the appointment to get the sensor installed after they ordered it, only to sit there for Forty five minutes for them to tell me they don't have the right sensor, shipment didn't show up. Our tires are bald. We slip on takeoff sometimes in the rain... I applied for credit online, because money is very tight this time of year, but on top of holidays, we have 2 birthdays and 1 anniversary. We are so tight in money right now that we are only celebrating 1 birthday and the holidays, but that's it, and even that is on a budget. The online application told me to go to my location. Went today and was told that we were denied... there was a waiting room full of people that i started crying in front of because the person who helped us and gave us the news (I don't blame her at all. She did a wonderful job), after I said thank you and started waking away she asked if there was any other way "they" can help, and through tears I told her "not that we can afford" Why did I have to be publicly humiliated to be told that my credit denied? Save your money! After talking to the staff and getting a quote for a simple mount and balance of 4 tires that I was bringing in, I was quoted $255. I'm deeply disappointed with the service my wife received at Les Schwab Tires. This used to be a respectable Northwest company and it has fallen very far from that standard. Despite having a warranty, they refused to honor it when she went in for a tire rotation. What's more concerning was the disrespect she was shown during her visit. Women, especially when helped by other women, should not make others feel stupid when they go in to ask for assistance. This is why I sent my way to Schwab, to be taken care of in my absence if I'm unavailable. Customers trust businesses to uphold their commitments, and it's concerning to see such blatant disregard for both warranty agreements and basic courtesy. I had a flat on my Toyota.. finally got the spare on, with lots of help- (I'm disabled)- I had a road-hazard warranty from Walmart.. after trying several times to call them, and no answer- I called Les Schwab- I explained what happened, and they said to COME RIGHT IN!! Aug 23rd. took tire to get nail removed. left over night. came back was told no leak.. um, there is a nail. oh, take tire back. remove nail. said it was between the tread no leak.. I have to drive 400 miles hauling this trailer with horses, I do not want a blow out, please patch it.. the employee gets mad, takes tire out of the truck.. not more than 3 minutes brings tire back.. no soap marks, all the same dirt on tire that was on it when I brought it in the day before . told him thank you, I do not want a blow out on my way to Montana. he said nothing, threw time in back of truck and walked away. , Highway 95, in Idaho . 60 miles an hour. that same tire blows out! horses in trailer. I call manager , he states nothing I can do except offer a form to fill out. he hangs up on me! Fender can not be repaired! it is aluminum and welded on! Les Schwab are my go to folks for anything tires, brakes, shocks etc. I use both the Chehalis location and the Hamilton Montana location. Les Schwab has me as a customer for life. Wait times are minimal if you set up an appointment. Even on extreme busy days when I have just driven in and had to wait for my truck, they shoe horned it into their tight schedule and fixed my problem. I have had the front end undercarriage rebuilt by them, axles replaced, several sets of new tires over 20 years. You just cannot beat Les Schwab when it comes to safety on the road for your rig. read more

Some of the people work at this location are absolute garbage, pure human trash. And karma is such a bitch when it comes back around. So this younger kid, Xavier K was in charge of doing the alignment on my truck. He told me it was going to ride like a cadillac after he was done with it. Note my tires were at about 90% tread before the alignment. Today, the front two tires are nearly 100% bald. They did one of the worst alignment jobs on this truck, and they did a horrible job on purpose! Two new front tires? Yeah, they're about $275-$325 new. Well, this is just the very beginning of a long road of complaints until this situation is made right. And anyone else involved is going to end up with their vehicles having to have a sick day themselves says karma. Bottom line, dont trust the people at this location, as it seems you have a 50/50 chance of them treating you like they should. Also when he typed out the paperwork, he made sure to get the color of the vehicle wrong and other major details, looks like he was trying to cover his own rear. Lastly He said the shocks were fine and in good condition when one of them was very loose and moving around, also leaking; this is how he left me to drive away knowing there was issues and then lying on the paperwork saying everything's in good condition. It seems that les schwab is growing with these types of customer experiences. This used to be such a great reliable company. Never would you have to worry about your vehicle being purposely vandalized like this. read more

I had two different appointments with them in the last two weeks and found that they were very good at communicating the issues with my Subaru Outback and providing different options to approach the issues. One of of my appointments, there happened to be a scheduling issue, but they quickly adjusted their team and were able to accommodate my car in the time frame I needed and resolved the mistake. My daughter took her car here for an alignment, they told her when she picked it up that it pulled to the right and it was ok because they said their computer said it was within specs. She called me and we went back, they tried again to get it right and still couldn't figure it out. They ended up saying they didn't know how to align it and said to take it to the dealer. They said they were putting it back to where it was when she brought it in......we left there with it not only pulling to the right but pulling left to right and evidently the manager there was good with letting my daughter leave there with a car that I thought was kind of dangerous to drive. When she took it in there in the first place it was not pulling at all, in fact. If you have an expensive car don't take to this place, they don't know what they are doing. read more

I've been a long time les Schwab customer and I'm severely disappointed with how I've been treated today at the chehalis location. When I stopped in with a low tire pressure light and explained that I am a cancer patient trying to make it to an appointment, I was told to sit and wait, that I was fifth in line and that it would be over an hour before I was done and that I would need to cancel my disappointment. I could not have happier with my experiance here a few weeks ago. I called to have my breaks done the week of New Years not realizing I was off the 2 days of the Holiday. Even with short notice they were able to find my car's breaks, have them brought in and get install set up within 2 days. The best part is that when I got there, after a few minutes the guy came and asked me to follow him. He showed me what I thought where new brake pads and told me to decide if I really wanted to change them or not. It turns out I had been lied to at the place my oil was changed and I did not need brakes at all. He had already changed the break fluid and did not even charge me for that. The guys from Chehalis don't even let me get out of my truck before they are asking what can they do for me! Being handicapped, that is a blessing. I'm from Vancouver. My wife was in Chehalis and the car battery died. It was 6 years old so it was shot. I had to drive there and deal with it. I got it to LS. And the tech said the battery and the alternator were bad. It was 5:30 pm Saturday and I needed to get it home before dark w/ bad alternator. I had them put a new battery in it for $189.00. WTF? Costco sells a better battery for 89.00. Had to do it. My alternator had been replaced 2+years ago so I took it to my mech. And he said it was good. I don't know if the tech was just a dumb a$$ or if they screwedd me. If I had known the alternator was good I could have gotten it home no prob and saved $100 on the battery...not to mention wasting my mechs time and mine. I see no benefit to me to go back and demand a refund because the savings would be eaten up in gas use. WTF LS?...for $189.00??? I had just begun a trip from Seattle to New Orleans when the "Check Tire Pressure" warning lit up on my car. I took the next exit at Chehalis, WA (yeah, didn't make it too far without incident, lol) and got a hotel room. The next morning, not seeing any flat tires, I dropped into the local Les Schwab to establish some peace of mind. They checked the pressure and assured me that the warning was most likely caused by my wife's insistence that I load our Mazda 6 like it was a pickup truck then test the rumble strips along I-5. If I could give the Chehalis Les Schwab less than a 1 star rating, I would. 1yr ago I took my 99 dodge Durango in to have the brakes fixed. Front and back. I thought all had gone well when I picked it up as they did not mention any further problems at this time. When I drove it home I went to stop and had NO brakes..... pedal hit the floor. Ok, maybe they weren't bled correctly.....no big, so I took it back. They told us that there was still air in the line and the issue would be solved. Took it home, currently had brakes. Go to the next day......driving and went to stop.....no brakes again. So back up to Les Schwab my mother went. She talked to a manager who treated her badly and yelled at her telling her we did not know what we were talking about. They told her at this point when they rechecked things that a seal had been put on wrong so they fixed it as well as a few other things. Supposedly ALL brakes were fixed and would be good now. Since then brakes have worked but not too well, so never drove with traffic and Durango mostly sat in my driveway (I couldn't currently afford to pay for another mechanic shop). Fast forward 1yr ti today. FINALLY having someone else check all brakes, etc ti ser qhat the issue is...... I had a broken rear brakeline. Stock. Never changed. My mother called Les Schwab to see what the heck happened and why they weren't changed. According to "notes" in the account "the lady who brought in the vehicle opted out of changing the brake lines even though it was leaking and rusted". Is this even legal to put back on the road if leakjng?? I know I would NEVER have opted out of that as I had the funding to cover it at that time and wanted to be safe. They lied about their financing saying it was just a soft inquiry and wouldn't effect my credit in any negative way. It popped up as a hard inquiry and dropped my credit, they said it would be off at the end of the month after arguing several times with several people. The new month rolled around and it was still in there. They said they had sent it off on the 15th of the last month and I call the credit buero and they had heard nothing from les Schwab. These guys strait up lied to me and I wouldn't of gotten the work done if I knew they would been so shady. I would say they were polite but getting lied to is disrespectful. read more

Worst Les Schwab location there is would give zero stars if option... Customer Service is supposed to be Les Schwab's trade mark, this store has NONE. We've taken our vehicles to Les Schwab for more than 20yrs and have never had any experience remotely as bad as the experience we've had here. MORE THAN ONCE - gave them a chance, figured anybody could be having bad day. Today's experience is an example of NORMAL service at this location; I was going in to have front struts done along with replacing my 4 old Les Schwab tires with 4 new/better tires. I had received a quote for the work previous and after waiting for parts to be special ordered I brought my car in. When asked if dropping off or staying, I asked how long it would take - they said they'd have me in and out in a COUPLE (couple=2) hours or less... Since it was a 30-40 min drive each way back home I said I would happily wait its only 9:30ish wife still asleep anyway... So after 3 hrs of waiting for my 2 hours or less of work, I asked if they had an updated time estimate. Bert comes up at this time said my struts were on, my tires "should have been" and that he was already waiting for it up in alignment once they finish putting tires on... So should be "real soon"... At this time he now brings up that my brakes are bad and will need replaced. While he shows me and they OBVIOUSLY need replaced I find it funny that this wasn't already found and being done since less than 1,000 miles ago I brought my car in for an complete inspection done at same time as having a 4 wheel alignment done - which is when I got told about front struts... Not only that, but the parts are once again special order so I can't even get the work done today but will have to come back again in a week or two - they can't even give estimate how long parts will take. Well another 30-45min goes by, I saw that it took less than 15min after I asked last time for my tires to be put on and my car to be moved to alignment - how much longer was it going to be??? They tell me all the work is done, it's just waiting for a test drive and to finish up paperwork - so really "any minute now"... So another 30-45mins goes by - its now AFTER 2pm about 4.5 hours for the couple hours or less work - and it gets even better... Now it's finally done and and I get my bill, it of course is about $100 more than my quote, but there is nothing they can do about that. Cause according to them it isn't their fault that they forgot to include stuff on my quote - UH YES IT IS!!!! What was the extra $100 you ask - they charged me for ANOTHER 4 wheel alignment ON TOP OF all of the other labor costs for installing the struts - they charged me to RE-DO the alignment that they just did less than 1000 miles ago... Will NEVER return to that location, even if it means paying to tow my car to the next one... read more

Doesn't deserve 1 star. Had 4 new tires put on 15000 miles ago (6 months). None of their "technicians" said anything about my horrible suspension I had no clue about, as I'm not an expert on cars and I had just bought the car. Their safety report said GOOD The $265 went down the drain in 6 months the tires are shredded and they won't replace them. Never would I ever recommend these scam artists. read more

My husband took his car to Les Schwab to have his tires rotated. They noticed that one of his brakes was locked up the caliber. After looking at the car they also determine the shocks or worn out. We were given an estimate and decided to go ahead and at least do the shock. After talking to Les Schwab we also decided it would be in best interest to do the front brakes. After much debate my husband and I were talking and I remembered that we had done the shocks years ago on our vehicle. They have a lifetime warranty on them. Les Schwab took it upon themselves to send a message to the corporate headquarters and research finding the receipt for the shock from years ago. The next day when I called Les Schwab they told me they found the receipt for the shock from 2009. This Meant that the shocks were under warranty and they were replaced at no cost to us (parts and labor). I want to thank the incredible work that Les Schwab does to make their customer service the number one priority in their business. They went above and beyond to find the receipt which was at least seven to eight years old. Thank you Brad and Tony at Les Schwab Chehalis Wa.
