Terrible. I don't know how they even have 3.9 unless they are paying people to review them. My property manager found this company to fix my dishwasher which has a digital panel and was not operating correctly. I had a first appt where Alexy came out. Not a very friendly guy. Didn't smile or tell me his name, nothing. I was also perturbed that the customer service woman told me that he was going to be 10-15 mins then turned around and said 45 mins then said oh I have you mistaken with someone else?!?! Weird? When he did show up it took him 2 hours to drill and drill and do whatever he was doing just to tell me he needed a part. Okay..... he said the part would take about 10-14 days. Then he told the owner a week. He also quoted him $500 for the repair! He said the issue was that water was getting into the panel but I didnt see anything open or broken in the panel. Weird. I get a text after 9pm (unprofessional IMO) a couple weeks later that the part came in and that they wanted to schedule a follow up. So I scheduled an appt for follow up. Alexy showed up again and rang the bell alerting my dog which disturbed my work (I clearly ask them to please call me when they are outside so they can be let in. But they didn't seem to care.) He came in and two hours later left without even telling me!!! I was home the whole time and my bedroom door was open. He didn't even close my door all the way when he left or lock it! WTF? If I was paying for them I wouldn't. I wouldn't even hire them. Poor customer service, unfriendly, poor time management and I found out from the customer service woman Irene that he ordered the wrong part. DId he tell me? No, he left without any warning AND to make matters worse, he messed up the alignment of the washer so it is off with the rest of the cabinets now! Usually when you leave dont you need a signature that the job is done? Wouldn't the customer assume then the issue is fixed? Terrible. We ended up going with another company. Save yourself the headache. Go with another company if you want your problems resolved. read more

Our refrigerator ice maker stopped working and needed to be repaired. I called around a few businesses through Yelp and was able to get a technician from Axis to come out and troubleshoot. Before arrival, I received a text and phone call saying the technician was on their way with an estimated ETA. The technician (Dmitrii) arrived on time and got to work right away. He diagnosed the issue very quickly and advised the part failed and needs to be replaced. He gave me a clear expectation of a repair timeline and was able to place an order for the part right away. He also followed up after the repair providing a tentative follow up appointment to replace the broken part. Once the part arrived, he confirmed on the appointment time and came by and replaced the professionally and quickly. One caveat, if you are going to hire them, they have an Oceanside phone number who schedules all of their appointments, while not a local number they do have a local branch with local technicians. Axis Appliance Repair came to my residence 3 times from May 1, 2025 through June 6th where our Profile GE Microwave was not heating up. They were dispatched through my Home Warranty (First American Home Warranty) which are some of reasons extended repair time. The repairman arrived on 5/1 ordered power voltage part, installed part on May 17. However, it was discovered Magnetron was failing intermittently. Part ordered, but had delays from First American Home Warranty to approve the part. Dmitrii S arrived on June 6th at noon, and he successfully installed Magnetron part, and reinstalled the microwave in mounted cabin very quickly. He displayed a good job done. Unfortunately, the very next day after Axis Appliance repairs, the wife used the microwave for popping pop-corn, and microwave stopped with an F4 error when pressing the Popcorn button on microwave. I updated First American Warranty. I changed their rating from 4 stars to 1 stars. To minimize the impact of no microwave to household, I picked up a cheap microwave from Home Depot. read more

If I could give this experience zero stars, I absolutely would. My friend has been waiting nearly TWO WEEKS for a simple dryer repair through a contractor sent by American Home Shield, and the level of incompetence has been unbelievable. First, appointments were scheduled and we rearranged our entire schedules to be there... only for them to not show up. Then we were told someone "forgot to put her on the schedule." How does that even happen when people are taking time off work to be home for you? After all that waiting, they finally showed up today... and brought the wrong part, meaning absolutely nothing was fixed. So once again, more waiting. And the excuse? "Parts take 10 days to come in." Are we living in the stone age? In 2026 it should not take this long to get a basic appliance part, especially when customers are already being inconvenienced. What's even worse is the complete lack of respect for people's time. Not everyone can just sit around all day waiting for a repair company that may or may not show up. Management needs to be made aware of this immediately and someone needs to reach out to make this right. This level of service is completely unacceptable. We had warranty service done on out oven April 22rd. The repair technician was very rude toward my wife and I don't appreciate that type of service. The technician was upset we had a dog and our dog barked at him. The argument got so bad my wife told him to leave but the technician completed the job anyway. Also, he never introduced himself and he did not leave any invoice or description of the work he performed. I consider this very bad service and will never call your company again. read more

I'm writing to share my recent experience with a service request that was poorly handled by one of your subcontractors (AXIS) . I believe this reflects poorly on your company, and I hope you'll consider reviewing your relationship with this vendor. After submitting a service request for my dryer, it took over a week for a technician to come out. Once on-site, the technician informed me that a part needed to be ordered and that it would take another week once the part arrived. However, two weeks passed with no update. When I followed up, I was told the order hadn't even been approved yet. A few days later, I was informed the part would be shipped directly to me--which arrived a week later via Amazon. Once I had the part, I called to schedule the technician to return, and they told me it would take another two weeks to come back out. At that point, I lost confidence in the process and called a local appliance repair company. They came within 48 hours and fixed my dryer on the spot. Because of this extremely delayed and frustrating experience, I decided to cancel my home warranty with First American. I encourage your team to reevaluate your partnerships with service providers like the one I dealt with. Their lack of communication and efficiency reflects poorly on your company. read more

I reached out via yelp for help with a repair for my washing machine after exhausting all my efforts with google and you tube videos. They answered very promptly and were able to come out the same day to look at it. The technician was very honest and knowledgeable. We didn't end up using them for the actual repair because he was able to advise on a new part we needed and could easily install ourselves. Issues with this company : - they give arrival time windows that they don't show up for on time or they just don't show up at all. No communication about being late. This is an update to a very negative experience I had where the tech came out and lied about being here to inspect the dryer that was not working. The tech lied about coming by and reviewing it. After AHS contacted Axis they finally came out. When the tech left he didn't even say bye. He was very rude and disrespectful by trying to leave without telling us. After he left we found he did not screw in the back of the dryer and we had to have him come back out to screw in. Just today we had a new company come out as the dryer stopped working right after the Axis tech screwed in the back of the dryer. The new tech found the Axis tech had taken the screws from inside the dryer to screw in the back of it and that's why it stopped working again. Axis is a terrible company with no ethics. Paid $90 for an "assessment" which included tech plugging in washer, turning knobs back and forth on broken washer, making phone calls for help, and then looking at pictures on phone leaning over washer. Although my washer is really old, we wanted to know what was going on and the technician didn't event open the inside of the machine control board. He didn't even know what the "lid switch" was. A month ago, we were seen by a technician that doesn't speak, we dont know his name & all he said was need parts. 2 weeks past & still no update. Axis Repair was assigned by American Home Shield (AHS) as their contractor to fix my daughter's dishwasher. This started in November and as of mid March, the dishwasher is still not repaired. They came to assess (2 wks), then ordered the wrong part, then re-ordered the part (another 3 wks), then scheduled the repair (another 2 wks w escalation to supervisor at AHS) then said that part doesn't fit (and tech said it was a used part)... then they said they were ordering the right /different part this time (2 1/2 more wks). Installed that part (2 more wks), and the dishwasher still doesn't work... & the tech doesn't speak English so hard to communicate... let alone the box of parts he left at the house.... It got to the point that Axis didn't answer nor return calls to my daughter... AHS escalations now after 3 plus months in from 1st request date, we asked for a replacement dishwasher. We are supposed to get an answer on the replacement this week. AHS told us several complaints back that a replacement vendor was not possible.... American Home Ahield now tells us, until Axis says that they can't repair it, there is nothing we can do... So now Axis is coming out NOT to fix the dishwasher, but to "fix" the exposed wires they left out with a sticky note to not touch them... with little kids around, this is not acceptable... & it also prevents my daughter from using her garbage disposal.... Even with clear safety violations, both Axis & AHS are not doing a good job on this problem.... Still no replacement part, let alone a new replacement dishwasher.... AND when the "part" does come in, then we have to get it installed & pray that it works... So, DO NOT USE AXIS is my recommendation ... & I am beginning to feel American Home Shield is not so viable if they will not resolve safety issues or replace the dishwasher for a request from NOVEMBER... read more

My refrigerator had stopped working. It must have stopped working for a while before I noticed it because everything in the freezer had thawed and was ruined. Made an appointment with them for a microwave repair and they never showed up. The scheduled appointment was for around 12pm. Once it was closer to 1:30pm, I reached out through Yelp to get an ETA for the technician. The person called me and informed me there was a delay at the last job and he'd give me a call when on his way. I told the person I'd remain at home. Closer to 3:30pm, I got tired of waiting and reached out to cancel my appointment. I received a call shortly after from the company informing me the technician would be at my residence in 25 minutes. I agreed to wait at home. I remained at home for the remainder of the day and never received a call or update from the company. The technician never showed up. Full Version: I received a prompt call and text from Axis Appliance acknowledging the home warranty request for a repair on our GE in-wall microwave (If you opened the door, it would start to spin and whir!) and offering a quick appointment and time window. They were great at updating me as Ivan was coming out. Ivan and his helper showed up, were very friendly and courteous, put on booties, and got right to work. They had the microwave out of the wall, fridge pulled back to get the cord, problem diagnosed (worn out door switch), explained what the problem was, fixed (swapped out the switch), microwave back in the wall, fridge back, everything cleaned up, and were gone in 35 minutes.
