Made an appointment with them for a microwave repair and they never showed up. The scheduled appointment was for around 12pm. Once it was closer to 1:30pm, I reached out through Yelp to get an ETA for the technician. The person called me and informed me there was a delay at the last job and he'd give me a call when on his way. I told the person I'd remain at home. Closer to 3:30pm, I got tired of waiting and reached out to cancel my appointment. I received a call shortly after from the company informing me the technician would be at my residence in 25 minutes. I agreed to wait at home. I remained at home for the remainder of the day and never received a call or update from the company. The technician never showed up. We had warranty service done on out oven April 22rd. The repair technician was very rude toward my wife and I don't appreciate that type of service. The technician was upset we had a dog and our dog barked at him. The argument got so bad my wife told him to leave but the technician completed the job anyway. TLDR: Ivan (and assistant) were courteous, professional, respectful, and efficient. This was a home warranty call, but I would absolutely call on Ivan to come back for appliance help. Full Version: I received a prompt call and text from Axis Appliance acknowledging the home warranty request for a repair on our GE in-wall microwave (If you opened the door, it would start to spin and whir!) and offering a quick appointment and time window. They were great at updating me as Ivan was coming out. Ivan and his helper showed up, were very friendly and courteous, put on booties, and got right to work. They had the microwave out of the wall, fridge pulled back to get the cord, problem diagnosed (worn out door switch), explained what the problem was, fixed (swapped out the switch), microwave back in the wall, fridge back, everything cleaned up, and were gone in 35 minutes. This is an update to a very negative experience I had where the tech came out and lied about being here to inspect the dryer that was not working. The tech lied about coming by and reviewing it. After AHS contacted Axis they finally came out. When the tech left he didn't even say bye. He was very rude and disrespectful by trying to leave without telling us. After he left we found he did not screw in the back of the dryer and we had to have him come back out to screw in. Just today we had a new company come out as the dryer stopped working right after the Axis tech screwed in the back of the dryer. The new tech found the Axis tech had taken the screws from inside the dryer to screw in the back of it and that's why it stopped working again. Axis is a terrible company with no ethics. Axis could though. 1 of the other 2 had a pricier charge/quote too (before repair), and Axis quoted me at $90 - so they're more affordable than them. This is regarding a GE dryer machine request I called them about. Phone kept ringing and so I got worried they were too busy to answer my call for moment, but somebody picked up eventually. Axis Repair was assigned by American Home Shield (AHS) as their contractor to fix my daughter's dishwasher. This started in November and as of mid March, the dishwasher is still not repaired. They came to assess (2 wks), then ordered the wrong part, then re-ordered the part (another 3 wks), then scheduled the repair (another 2 wks w escalation to supervisor at AHS) then said that part doesn't fit (and tech said it was a used part)... then they said they were ordering the right /different part this time (2 1/2 more wks). Installed that part (2 more wks), and the dishwasher still doesn't work... & the tech doesn't speak English so hard to communicate... let alone the box of parts he left at the house.... It got to the point that Axis didn't answer nor return calls to my daughter... AHS escalations now after 3 plus months in from 1st request date, we asked for a replacement dishwasher. We are supposed to get an answer on the replacement this week. AHS told us several complaints back that a replacement vendor was not possible.... American Home Ahield now tells us, until Axis says that they can't repair it, there is nothing we can do... So now Axis is coming out NOT to fix the dishwasher, but to "fix" the exposed wires they left out with a sticky note to not touch them... with little kids around, this is not acceptable... & it also prevents my daughter from using her garbage disposal.... Even with clear safety violations, both Axis & AHS are not doing a good job on this problem.... Still no replacement part, let alone a new replacement dishwasher.... AND when the "part" does come in, then we have to get it installed & pray that it works... So, DO NOT USE AXIS is my recommendation ... & I am beginning to feel American Home Shield is not so viable if they will not resolve safety issues or replace the dishwasher for a request from NOVEMBER... read more

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but their scheduling and respect for customers' time is poor. When booking, I specified when I'd be home and was assured it wouldn't be an issue. Yet, hours before my appointment, they pressured me to take an earlier slot because their tech was in the area and ultimately said I'd have to reschedule if I couldn't. The response I received was dismissive, with no real solution. I won't do business with a company that doesn't honor its commitments. read more

We found out our washer, dryer and fridge were having issues on the day moving in. I was frustrated and don't know what to do. All other appliance repair shops are booked and nothing available until next week. Gladly Axis had an opening the sam day evening and came over to fix them. It wasn't an easy tasks, which took almost three hours and the technician went to Homedepot couple times to get correct materials to get the job done. If there was a "0" rating option, it would be a given. I honestly don't know how anyone working for this company can manage to function in their daily lives, let alone coordinate the repair or actually repair an appliance. The lack of brain cells and empathy, coupled with their dishonesty and incompetence was unlike anything I've experienced. Stay away and advise your home warranty company that Axis is not a competent or acceptable solution. My washing machine and refrigerator both needed repair. Here is a brief synopsis of the incompetence over the last 2 months; - Axis took a week and a half from the initial call to arrive at our home for the 1st appointment - The repairman (Dmitrii) took approximately 2 hours to assess the refrigerator and 10 minutes to assess the washer before advising me he order parts - The repairman left all of the items in the freezer on the counter to defrost / spoil while inspecting the unit (salmon, steaks, and more) without advising of estimated timing - Following ordering parts, Axis makes the customer wait for the parts to arrive before scheduling the next appointment, the parts took approximately 1.5 weeks + another week for the next available appointment - At this point, it has been over a month. We have two toddlers and are buried in dirty laundry, out of clean towns, sheets are dirty, no dish cloths, the situation is dire. We still have no working washer or fridge for a family of 4. - Upon arrival for the second repair, I confirm in the doorway that the same repairman who came originally has the parts for the washer and fridge. He questioned "fridge?" looked at his iPad, and without a doubt, lied to my face that he had both, despite the single unopened box in his hand. He took the box to the washer, and within minutes said it didn't fix the issue and "per protocol" would order the next part in the playbook. He then proceed to the refrigerator and asked me what was wrong with the "freezer" I said nothing, remember we are servicing the "fridge" and he said with a shrug "weird" - We called Axis to ask what was going on and learned the serviceman never in fact ordered fridge parts and had placed an order for "dryer" parts following the 2nd visit - It has been over two months and several calls to Axis with no remedy. No empathy. No care in the world. Axis let our home become buried in filthy clothes, while we struggled to pack lunches for our children without a fridge, and keep our home somewhat hygienic amidst toddlers in the midst of sick season and potty training. A is cost us our routine, our home hygiene, and sanity for months. We are currently sleeping on the last of the clean blankets in our closet while awaiting the manufacturer (GE) repairman to arrive this week - the first thing GE said without even knowing our experience with Axis was that they prioritize washers due the the hygienic implications in the home, the repairman noted he had children too and apologized for the situation we were in. It was the first compassion we had experienced. This is a fraction of the experience and there is even more evidence of the incompetence and lies from Axis throughout this two month saga.
