Okay so let me tell ya'll, I've been having problems with my bathroom sink since I moved in, 5 years ago. I did the quick fix stuff (diy & Home Depot stuff) and it'd do the job. Each and every time it'd get clogged it would be worse and worse until the day came (two weeks ago) that it no longer worked. I dreaded calling a plumber because money is tight, I have a newborn, just went back to work and being 100% sincere I was soooo scared that I would have to pay an arm and a leg, possibly a kidney. So I googled "how much would a plumber cost" haha yes I did, and the angi's list came up, I put in my info and immediately I got a call from AYS Plumbing. The woman on the other side of the line seemed knowledgeable, polite and professional so I gave it a go. I set up an estimate visit for the following day. Well, the day came. Junior & Adam came to my rescue! I told them the problem and they said it might just be a debris back up and told me if that was the case they'd clean it free of charge. Luck was definitely on my side, or maybe it was the rain dance I did, but it was definitely just a back up! And..... they really didn't charge me! You have no idea how much I spent on chemicals trying to fix this! All my bathroom sink worried gone in a few minutes! The guys were awesome! They knew how to handle my hairy backup, they were nice, clean, polite, and extremely professionally, they wouldn't even take a tip from me. They came in as plumbers and left super heros! Had a repipe job done, a couple of days ago, repipe crew was great, patching crew was great, DJ was great but Jeremy (supervisor) made this experience made me give only two stars, reason?: I had negotiated price with him, when I asked for more details on the contract about the job they were about to do, so I asked for an addendum, not changing anything on the job order, only to outline with detail what they were going to do. He told me addendums were not allowed by his legal team and so we agreed not move forward. Late the same day DJ called me and worked it out, the addendum was added and the job was done. What I took issue was the fact that Jeremy did not have the professionalism of calling me to work it out, he had one of his workers do it, which in mind is just not how you earn and retain customers. Early in my conversation with Jeremy, I told him I was looking for a "plumber for life", after this experience, I would not use his company for any other work. The ironic end of this review is that the next day, one of my neighbors came by asking what type of work I had done (he saw all the trucks in front of the house) and I told him, he then asked me for the name of the company and if I would recommend him to do a repipe and, regretfully I said I would not. The service industry is highly competitive, and you truly have to earn customers and their trust, and it really blows my mind that a service company doing a job that costs several thousand dollars would not do their utmost to earn repeat customers by showing an impeccable degree of professionalism. read more

Today I walked out to my garage and found the water heater had been leaking for some time ... called a couple plumbing businesses ... and, AYS Plumbing and Rooter was willing to give me quote over the phone so that I didn't need to wait until they got here for an appointment (that's what the other company offered :/ ) ... What a SAVINGS of TIME when water damage needs to be abated as QUICKLY as possible. I received a FAST return phone call from Field Supervisor Mike ... he put me on the schedule for same day!! ... and ended up calling back a little later saying the appointment could be bumped UP a little earlier ... and, that was such a BLESSING!! The office also called to confirm my address, etc. Then the technician who was to perform the water heater replacement called to ask if he could arrive EARLIER, and I was so very thankful ... NOT only for ALL the SUPER professional and courteous communication, but that the NEEDED EMERGENCY REPAIR was able to start being resolved in just a FEW hours from my first phone call to the company around 10:30 am ... the tech arrived around 1:30 pm WITH my NEW water heater and everything was resolved within about 3 hours from start to finish. Technician Mike Garcia was very courteous and thoughtful ... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!! I'd much rather do business with this type of local business than with the big box corporate conglomerates like Home Depot or Lowes. read more

I got home the other day from work and noticed after my daughter took a shower, the drain was extremely slow! I found AYS and Billy was quick to contact me after I called to let me know he would be here ASAP! When he got here, I explained that I had moved in recently to this older home that was "remodeled" recently. Well, after my daughters shower backed up, I started noticing everything else backing up and /or being slow to drain as well. Billy was so nice and very understanding with everything I was trying to explain to him and when he did an evaluation on all my drains, he made it simple for me to understand. He helped me understand how important it was, with the issues I was having with my drain lines and how clogged they were with root intrusions etc, that it would continue to happen until I replaced my sewer main. He gave me options, I didn't feel pressured in any way to make a choice, but I decided to go with what Billy recommended to help my home be safe and more efficient for our family! We recently woke up to water on the floor around the washer thinking the hoses were leaking. We had used AYS plumbing to replace a water heater a few months prior and had a very good experience with them. After our call Adam showed up a short time later and moved the washer to check the hoses which ending up being fine.. However, he discovered the water was actually seeping from under the wall from the main bathroom and had been for some time. He crawled under the house and discovered where the problem was coming from, taking pictures before calling his supervisor, Jeremy. Upon arrival Jeremy, as well as Adam, began the repairs immediately. We knew at that time we were in good hands and our stress level started to deescalate. We can highly recommend AYS and its TEAM. Called AYS and Mike Garcia took charge to decommission the old busted tank, install a new one temporarily while the house repair was done, and finally complete the permanent install at the end. I have nothing but the best to say about the job he's done - great quality, professional, clean (that's right, clean. It's a big deal to me), honest, and trustworthy. We had an emergency today when I discovered the flex supply line to the top of the water heater was spraying water. I shut the water off at the main valve and called AYS. Within an hour Antonio Peters arrived and assessed the situation. He made a recommendation and provided a cost estimate, which I agreed-to, and he started work immediately. He replaced both the input supply pipe and the output pipe. He had everything he needed on the truck, and explained what he was doing as he was working. Antonio was very personable and professional, and is welcome back in our home anytime. And many thanks again to AYS for the fast dispatch. We haven't ever had a plumbing emergency so I didn't know who to call initially. So glad I found them! They will be our "go-to" for future needs. The best customer Service from Andy & Jr today! They were able to come out to my grandma's home after we called about a steady leak that was raising up her gas bill by running the water heater. They got here right on time and immediately identified the problem and went to home Depot to grab the part they needed. They fixed it quickly and checked on the water heater. While talking they also checked on another faucet in the house and asked if we had any more concerns they could take a look at for us while they are here. It didn't feel rushed and they took the time to explain the issue to grandma very nicely and told us to call back for any problem she may have even if it's something small. We had called AYS on Thursday at 4 pm. The Tech DJ arrived at my daughters house by 5:15 pm. My daughter has a slab leak DJ did a through walk thru. He had checked the incoming water pressure to the house and found the pressure was at 110 psi. DJ told do you want someone else for me to explain it to. My daughter told DJ i am going to call my Dad to come over. DJ was very professional explaining all the pro and cons about the job. DJ supervisor Jeremy came using a Temperature infared thermal imagine gun showing us the hot spots. Jeremy did the contract, showing us the different options. Yesterday ... we had a problem with our Tankless gas water heater and I contacted the AYS .... Mr. Miguel ... cam within 3 hours ... and corrected the issue. He also explained the use of adding whole house water treatment filter ... and i went for it. Today he came with another buddy (sorry for not telling the name as I dont know how to spell his name correctly) ... installed the Flow-Tech Pure .... and also flushed our water heater ... Had an emergency because mobile home main sewer line plugged and caused back up in my mobile home. Billy of AYS Plumbing came right out, figured out the problem, and fixed it with his equipment. He hosed off the entire driveway area, and picked up the yuck stuff that came out of the pipe in a pleastic bag for the trash. Billy got my home functional again, and provided the video, pictures, and documentation that I took to the mobile home managment to prove the main sewer line needed to be cleared. The documentation was service above and beyond what I expected, and helped convince the managers to clear the pipe. I wouldn't normally write a review about a company that did work for me on my house unless it really meant something. Being a contractor for many years I know what to look for and what shouldn't be there to say the least sometimes lol with peoples work I've seen, you could say I've seen it all. However this contractor was fast give me a good price did everything to code and aesthetically pleasing boot. It was enduring to not have to breathe over a shoulder of a contractor doing work for me. I thought I'd be without hot water for several days, but within a few minutes, Susan had a technician lined up for me. Aaron arrived and was very friendly and polite. He took the time to explain what was going and the options available to address the problem. We recently called AYS Plumbing to perform a whole house re-pipe. Spencer Coleman did an excellent job of supervising the task and keeping us informed of progress. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. while not the cheapest in the market they provided good value. He coordinated the activities of the re-pipe and patching crews to ensure that the job was completed in a timely manner. The two crews were very knowledgeable and proficient.
