Most of the time, they were in and out of my backyard in under 10 mins, putting chemicals in and emptying skimmer basket and then leaving. Rarely, they'd skim the pool surface or use my pool scrub brush. I pay attention to my pool tools ans notice when they are moved, and also have cameras in my backyard.. The day they come for service was also not consistent. A couple times weeks were skipped if there was a holiday. It would have been nice if they came the day after or day before said holiday so that I'm getting my money's worth, on a month by month basis. On the plus side, they brought it their own pool robot to help with dirt collecting in pool until I was able to buy my own. They also answered some of my pool questions which was great as a first time pool owner. they even took the initiative and set up my pool vacuum when I left out the new box in my patio, which I appreciated. So, like I mentioned in the beginning of post, this review is mixed, hence the 3 stars.

Quote was extremely reasonable, and Lee and his son were able to come out and get the filter and plumbing replaced the same week. They did a terrific job! He tore it apart and one of the wheels fell off. One of the reasons it wasn't working. He went out and got the part, came back, assembled the robo vac again and it's working fine. He also checked my water and showed me how to operate the timer and emptied out my filter basket. All of this for an extremely reasonable price. I'll be sure to call him again for my pool needs.

Our pool was recently resurfaced, and we had a dust storm that left a ton of dirt at the bottom of…read morethe pool. Around 11am today, the unions on our backwash assembly broke, rendering the pump and filter inoperable, all while there was quite a bit of remaining dirt from last night in the new pool. The new surface is susceptible to staining and so we couldn't afford to have the pool pump/filter be down for several days. I called many companies and got a hold of Prickly Pools. They advised that their regular distributors were closed for the long weekend, but said they'd call Leslies to see if they could locate the part, and if located could come tomorrow to complete the repair. They ended up locating the part at a Leslies close to our home, so after asking nicely for them to come today, they agreed!! The technician arrived, and advised that we didn't have much pvc left once the broken part was cut off, and that he may have to replumb a lot of additional areas. But, he found a solution using a tool so he didn't have to replumb the additional areas. I appreciated his honesty and creativity in finding a solution that saved me money. I've had a great experience, and it's nice to know that honest, timely and overall great customer service still exists. I was impressed with their offer to call around to Leslies to find the part, agreeing to repair same day at my request, and being honest by coming up with a solution to avoid a more costly replumb. Highly recommend this company!!
