Before you take delivery of the vehicle have it examined by a third party certified mechanic. Purchased a car here and lasted about nine months. Severe engine damage, needed to be replaced at a cost equal to the original purchase price of the car. Third party mechanic after the fact stated the cars computer was recording issues for along time without warning us via indicator lights. We had no idea there was an issue this severe until it was too late or how long it had been going on. Do not buy anything from this dealer. They sold me a car that had been Vin swapped. I asked them to do the right thing and buy the car back. After I provided the proof they asked for (inspection by a local Chevy dealer), they told me to stop contacting them and go through their attorney. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this dealer. No integrity. I can provide that inspection report and emails from AZ Auto Gallery to anyone who's interested To respond to their reply: I did get a completely independent party to review at the request of AZ Auto Gallery, and the local Chevy dealer confirmed that the vehicle had been vin swapped. The fact that AZ Auto Gallery asked for that review, and then decided to ignore it after it came back that the vin had been swapped, seems to me to be the smoking gun. After that, they made another hoop for me to jump through. I was supposed to take it back to the auto auction they bought it from. The auto auction would not deal with me, a member of the public, they would only deal with a dealership. In fact the auction was surprised that I hadn't already been refunded.... They can hide behind whatever nonsense they spout, but the FACT is this vehicle that THEY SOLD ME HAS BEEN VIN SWAPPED. What a JOKE this place is. Bought a 2008 Cadillac CTS for my 16 year old son from this poor excuse for a dealership. Worked with TC on the financing which went fine however when it comes to the actual vehicle, I am at a loss for words... To start, the battery kept dying. AZ Auto Gallery changed the battery for me but it continued to die so I took it to a mechanic (because TC said I shouldn't buy a warranty, LMFAO, because the car was in GREAT shape) and had the alternator replaced. The vehicle STILL continued to die so I called and spoke with Goran and his team came and got the car. It was discovered that there was an electrical issue causing the vehicle to die which they fixed and that was great. However, fast forward a month and my son is driving down the road when all of the sudden, the passenger side window literally falls down into the door. Did I mention that this happened WHILE a 16 YEAR OLD WAS DRIVING!?! So I take the car back to a mechanic and they tell me that the regulator for the window is broken, oh, and not to mention that the vehicle now needs $1000's of dollars in repairs due to bad suspension. So, I contact Goran and ask him to unwind the deal because - to be frank - I was sold a F$#&!$$ lemon. He told me to pound sand. At the end of the day, these guys are shady, shady crooks who have ZERO regard for the safety of their drivers. This vehicle NEVER should have been sold in the first place!!! We have been searching for a low mileage unmodified BMW 335i convertible with the 6 speed manual for several months. This is a very rare car only 13 for sale nationwide on Autotrader. typically don't leave bad reviews, business is business but the way this dealership handled the situation was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I was going to leave it alone cut my losses and be done but after my wife had left a review about how they had handled the situation they turned around and tried to make her out to be unreasonable and a liar. I'm frankly very angry with this whole situation, I bought a car on 4/15/24 (they say the 13th which is when we put the down payment but did not fully purchase or drive off with until the 15th) thinking it was going to solve my issues but not even 24 hours in I had to call them and tell them I needed to bring it back because it was shifting improperly. The next day they called me telling me nothing was wrong but you could tell that something was wrong with the car by the way it was shifting. So I went and picked up the car from them to drive home and not 5 minutes into driving the car getting on the highway the check engine light came on. I immediately called to tell them and they asked if I was going to bring it back in, I said no because I was already home by that point. So I left my car at home for the next day and took the light rail, I thought from the beginning it's the transmission and I was very cautious because of it so I returned it and said keep it so I don't ruin the car within two business days. They said it wasn't the transmission initially, and then called back and said it was the transmission so they had to keep the car for another 2 weeks to get the part and install. I get it back and It still was not fixed mind you they should've had it ran through emissions and have the title they had done neither of those things. Had the car been in working condition and no problems I would have the title and it would have gone through emissions yet here we are bought the car 4/15/24 and I just got the car 6/15/24 out of the 2 months I have owned this car I had it for maybe 2 weeks all together. The fact he decided to state my wife is not a customer is unfair because we are married she may not have been there physically through the entire process but we were communicating on the backend as she is my wife. She initially did not even use names in her review trying to get her point across without it going this far but after "the president" decided to make her out to be the problem we are now forced to defend ourselves, and the numbers he decided to throw out there that were not accurate and he knows it for a fact is the reason we are making these reviews known to the public. He was ranting about how we paid 6500 when we went in person and we needed to pay 300 dollars because he paid for the transmission and other damages that were not their fault however the car is STILL not operating properly and now he's claiming we only paid 4,000, we paid 6,000 plus 309 and 100 on parts that were fixed elsewhere. As if it was out of the kindness of his heart yet it's by law they need to fix major issues within 15 days or 500 miles per state statute ARS 44-1261-1267. Instead of apologizing and trying to make it right no matter what he inconvenienced me and my family and tried to turn it against us at the end of the day. We did not cuss them out we did not damage property or cause problems for them we just wanted help with the car that we had purchased through them. We have all of the screenshots, call logs and time frames and receipts to prove this company is lying through their teeth. read more

Hard to imagine a more dishonest dealership. Bought a 2004 Audi All-Road sight unseen. Advertised as MINT CONDITION. I called the dealer and asked some straight forward and detailed questions: Among them: Q: Does the air-ride work properly. A: YES...Works Perfectly in all ranges... Fact: Air-ride had been removed and was not present. I would not have bought this car if I knew this! I wanted an Air-ride car!! Q: Does the AC and all electronics work A: Yes AC is ice cold: Fact: AC non-functional and required High pressure switch and recharge, battery had 9V and would not make the trip back , headlights severely clouded and internally cracked and needed to be replaced and car was loaded with DTC fault codes & cracked radiator fan. Required $2,000 in PARTS! and I am still sorting the technical problems. I paid TOP DOLLAR for a *MINT* "Meticulously Well maintained car." Lesson here...BUY NOTHING FROM THESE GUYS WITHOUT INSPECTING IT FIRST WITH BOTH SCAN TOOLS and a QUALIFIED MECHANIC. There is no harm being honest with your clients, Goran. Really shady, i took a test drive for a truck with 53,000miles, it rattled only getting up to 45mph. Didnt even make it to the freeway before turning around. Its most definitely a rolled back mileage, really easy to set those electric odm back, The wheel beds were spray painted black, but when you go under the truck its all rusted very badly. Check engine light on, it's embarrassing to sell a car that cant even get to 65mph. read more

I've been looking for a used diesel Jetta SportWagen and found an internet ad in CarGurus for a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI FWD for $5,800 at AZ Auto Gallery LLC in Mesa, AZ. Although high-mileage (more than 166,000 miles) the car looked good in the photos and appeared from its history to have been well-maintained. So I called and asked the dealership owner, Goran Grozic, many specific questions before deciding to drive 400 miles to purchase the vehicle. I specifically asked whether everything worked properly and whether any of the wheels have been curbed, since that can signal tire and suspension problems. He said he looked at the pictures and the car looked good to him. Because the pictures did not show the wheel rims, I asked him to walk outside and look; he said they all look fine to him. We also discussed whether he was interested in buying my 2019 Ford Transit Connect, and he said he was. We talked numbers and came up with a deal that would work for both of us. I liked that Goran always answered the phone himself, answered my questions and seemed straightforward; however, I've learned the hard way to check a used car dealership's reputation before undertaking a long trip to do a deal. The dealership is BBB accredited and had no complaints or negative reviews. So on the Wednesday after Christmas I drove 400 miles to complete the transaction. When I finally got there, I asked the young man who met me if he was Goran; he was not, he was Patrick. He showed me the car. Interior and body were quite good, but 3 of the 4 wheels were pretty badly curbed. We took it for a test drive, which revealed a couple of issues. The radio did not work. I asked why that had not been disclosed. Patrick said they would knock $100 off the price, but warned me that a new radio might not work because there could be wiring issues. (I was not thrilled to be facing possible rewiring issues.) The car was also sluggish shifting into reverse, even after warming up. Another review of the service history revealed the car had not received transmission service every 40,000 miles as recommended. (I was even less thrilled to be facing possible tranny issues.) When we got back to the dealership I wanted to talk with Goran, who appeared to be finishing with a customer. It was not a customer, it was just a friend; Goran had simply declined to set aside his personal conversation for our business transaction when I arrived. I was still considering the Jetta. When I asked him why he couldn't just be honest about the wheels, he said they looked okay to him and what was the problem anyway, I could just go buy new wheels. And as for buying my vehicle, he said he wasn't interested; he said he thought it was a high top, the larger Ford Transit, even though I had told him more than once it was a Connect (which never was made in a high top model.) We were so specific in our conversations and I was so sure we had a deal, I was willing to put 400 miles on my Ford, which I plan to sell, and did not have someone drive with me to drive my Ford home. It was money out of pocket, a wasted day and an 800-mile round trip - because Goran, like so many other used car dealers, couldn't simply be honest and treat his long-distance customers with the respect he would want for himself. I have never posted on yelp so this is how disappointed and frustrated I am: I purchased an 05 Dodge SRT-4 from these guys with 40,000 miles ... check engine light came on the second day I owned the car. Car went into limp mode and wouldn't let me drive it, so I had it taken to their "shop" for them to fix what was wrong. Not only did they install that part wrong and the issue came back, the car overheated because their mechanic installed the thermostat upside down. I don't understand how a dealer can have a mechanic who does not know how to do simple installations correct. All the work they did had to get redone because of bad installation. Wouldn't trust purchasing a car from them if that mechanic is still there. read more

Upon arrival the first thing noticed was a grill insert that didn't fit the car, a cracked bumper, and a hole in the trunk. Mind you were talking about 30k for a camaro. not a 1995 Honda Civic with bubbly window tint. I continue to inspect the car because all that is fixable, and as I continued to inspect it I found oil all over the oil pan, body lines that did not line up, and they were claiming it had head work and a cam, mind you a car with cam sounds a lot different from stock cam and goroan was still trying to say that it has a cam. Also the vehicle was listed with 42k miles mind you it had 44k and bald tires, and there excuse behind this was it was a shop car. Bottom line is they are false advertising beating on there own vehicles they have for sale and have zero knowledge on how to run a business or any clue about cars. And his response after I said you waisted my time. I would be extremely careful buying anything from this place. I purchased a 1999 Toyota Solara that they took in on trade earlier this year. 1900 miles later the engine locked up. When the car died, I had it towed to a shop where they showed me the extremely large chunks of sludge in the oil and you wouldn't believe what the heads and valve covers looked like inside. Worst one I have ever seen. The dealer told me, at the time of purchase, that they had only checked the fluids and changed the oil. That's all they did and the car was as-is used. I understand as-is and the meaning of no warranty. I wasn't even upset that the motor blew up, but this could have all been avoided if their mechanics were doing their job correctly. There is no way that the mechanic didn't notice the oil coming out in chunks and like molasses when they changed it. Unless, of course, they hire blind mechanics or backyard idiots. also, there was no way for me to tell on the dipstick because the fresh oil when I picked it up hadn't had time to become a tar like sludge. Looked clean on the dipstick at that time. Here's the part that really bites about this whole scenario. Let's say it was an honest mistake or just plain overlooked by the mechanics. This dealer refused to participate at all in taking care of a customer. Their only offer was to give me a "good price" on replacing the motor. I wasn't asking for a full refund. I wasn't asking they pay the full bill of repair. Bottom line, they declined to participate at all or give me any money back. Typical used car dealer. Good thing I didn't purchase one of their high dollar foreign or luxury cars they advertise. Might have been a $20,000 ticking time bomb. Oh how I wish that I could add pictures of the oil to this review. read more

IVE SPENT MORE IN REPAIRS THAN THE DOWN PAYMENT! I'm a hardworking provider to my wife and two young boys! I purchased a used truck for work, and couldn't be more disappointed, and frustrated! They told me the truck I test drove, was in like-new condition. Aside from not having a fob, a spare key, and a broken radio (touch screen had a huge circle crack in it, didn't work, they refused to fix), there didn't seem to be anything wrong. Less than 40 miles down the road, the truck wasn't doing well, the engine light came on. AZ Auto Gallery wasn't open the next day, so I took it to a shop, I won't name. I had their mechanic run a diagnostic, and he told me, my transmission needed full rebuild, I needed a fuel system cleaning, and my spark plugs needed to be changed. I PAID for the diagnostic, and made an appointment with AZ Auto Gallery, he had my truck for a full day and night, and told me their diagnostic was wrong, it was a misfire. He said the gear shifter was loose,I PAID for the shifter to be tightened. THE VERY NEXT DAY my A/C blew out. I took it to a car shop I'll leave unnamed. The whole A/C system was so poorly used, he was surprised it even turned on at all. Anyways, I've been in and out of shops trying to fix the transmission still! The AZ Auto Gallery mechanic told me he basically fixed it twice. Once before the lot, and once when I brought it in. I have two boys at home who could be using that money.
