Mom's Service $175 Hard Gel Fill + Basic Nail Art (on 1-2 fingers) + Basic Pedicure (regular polish, no jelly/hot stone/soaks). The itemized charges on the screen included terms like "Level 2 Nail Art" to justify the excessive cost for what was genuinely basic, common nail art. I went to this place in October 2019 but I had not posted the review because I lost the picture of…read moremy nails but I was recently able to recover it. I wanted to get my nails done here because they post amazing work on Instagram. I booked my appointment online and I had to pay a deposit which I thought was overkill but whatever. I drove 30 min from the east side because based on the insta pictures I really thought it'd be worth it. When I got there I showed them the pictures of the nails I wanted from their Instagram and they told me I couldn't get those nails because they were acrylic and I had made an appointment for dip powder. Eventually I was able to pick a dip powder color that I kind of liked and it turns out that they were running low on that color so my nail tech mixed it with another dip powder so that there would be enough for my manicure. I asked him multiple times if the color would be opaque enough to cover the whites of my natural nails. He was confident that it would work so I trusted him. Obviously it didn't work you can see in the picture that the color was patchy and uneven and you could clearly see my crooked ass nails underneath. And yes, I know that I can tell the nail tech if I don't like their work or if I want them to do it again but let's be honest nobody wants to do that it's uncomfortable! As a nail artist you should have pride in your work and be honest with yourself when it doesn't look good. The client shouldn't have to tell you when it looks THIS bad. He let me walk out of there with those nails so apparently he was content with the quality of his work ‍ Needless to say, I won't be coming back here.
