Cheap prices for cheap work! I came here once to get a gel manicure which was pretty inexpensive and I was impressed with their work. So I decided to go back and try dipping powder.. I was so excited as I heard they last 3 weeks and don't damage your nails. However, by the end of my manicure, I had powder residue over dark blue color I picked. I commented on it and the lady tried to say she added glitter! One, I didn't ask for glitter. Two, it was clearly powder residue. She knew I wasn't falling for it so she re-did them with pretty much the same outcome. The next day, one nail completely snapped off. I waited one week before going back to fix the problem and all my nails lifted by then. I asked her to re-do them and she just filed them and added one coat of dipping powder. 2 days later, a few more nails snapped off. I gave up and took them all off. Never going back to this place! Wouldn't recommend unless you're doing anything BUT dipping powder. read more

I started coming here 3 months ago regularly. At 1st everything was clean the staff was great. They offer eyelash extensions and I decided them do there since I was going to a wedding. I did my usually mani and pedi in gel with full face wax. The girl who did my eyelashes has always been great with me but had a problem putting my lashes on. It took 3 hours and tend result look horrible. I was a good sport about and figured I'm just not used to it. The next day when I woke up I noticed some pieces of the lashes had fell off and where on my pillow. I was upset because I was told they wouldn't fall unroll my second week and since I just got them on and this was the day of wedding. I called to see if they can fix it before I had to get ready for work and the owner told me that she is very busy could fit me in. That made me even more upset. I kept trying to be seen as soon as possible. But was told to come back the next day. So I took off the little remaing lashes that they set on me and went to the wedding . I stopped going for a few weeks and came back telling the owner what had happen she instantly remember me cause she apologized for back pushing me on fixing the problem and told me she would take care it. I told her that I didnt want the lashes again but maybe she can discount my usually total from of 60 buck for my mani pedi in gels full face wax. I was doing my pedi and the another lady came to do my nails. As I was getting my work done they asked if I wanted to get an upgrade of feet scrub which is usually include in every pedi. They said it was 5 bucks more. And i asked if them if it was something new or the same as before. They said they never had a pomus rock sub before which is a hoax cause 1. The last next to had and they didnt tell her it was 5 bucks more and 2. Cause I've been there many times and know the prices and routine . I told the ower what it was about and she said it was an extra scrub they place on yoyr feet for 7 mins to get off all the dead skin from your feet. I agreed to do it. And the scrub was only places for 2 mins and then rinse off . I seen or ft no difference. I ignored it . I notice an pther I wanted instead of my first pick I had. They didnt have it in gel so I said it's fine I get my nails in reg nail polish they got upset cause I changed my mind and kept pushing mr to get gel. Once they got the point they treated me with shitty service and did everything half ass. I didn't even want to get My wax from them cause of the service. Its usually 20 bucks a reg mani and pedi and 39 for gel. So when it was time to pay they charged me 30 bucks. When I asked why thru said cause they had two ppl working on me at once . I told that's fine but what about a discount for the lashes coming off . the owner said is once my total was less then usually she couldn't give me one . So I told her I wasn't ask for a full refund just maybe a few buck off and she didn't want to work with me. Which sucks cause she acknowledged the problem with the lashes and said she would discount them, they know that I come in regular and lastly cause they are the only nail place around. I rather go a little farther from home and spend a money on better service. read more

This place is the worst nail spot in all of los angeles. My last visit i found roaches in the sink and restroom. When i brought up the issue to the lady who was at the front she said to worry about my nails and not about what's in the restroom. Once my pedicure was complete she overcharged me and when i brought up what the extra charges were for and she said "since i let my time go longer then expected because i wasted it worrying about the restroom". when i threatened not to pay she said she would call the cops. Yesterday I came to AZ nails. I hadn't gotten my nails done in years so I got what is considered a small set. They did a great job. They're very good at doing nails and the atmosphere is super clean, they're very hygienic. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they gave me just that! As stated earlier, I asked for a small nail set. I totally didn't mind paying for this price but I would've appreciated if they would've been honest and told me the price they were going to charge me earlier instead of randomly changing the price at the end. Before I got my nails done I told them exactly what I wanted, I gave them the details, colors, told them I wanted small acrylic, etc and they gave me a set price right away. Once we finished they added $22+ to the original price they had first told me. Once again, I didn't mind paying the finishing price but it just isn't the way to do things. I don't understand how the price went up 22+ dollars for small nails. It made me think they were adding things in without telling me; it would've been nice if they would've told me as they were adding things in. I asked the guy for a specific color but because it wasn't gel and wanted to charge me more he used a different color that was gel when I told him not too/ I asked for marble on my ring finger and puts glitter stripes ??? What can I said about AZ Nails.... simply the best! I've been coming here for about 5 years and I always leave happy! Mimi and her stuff (Helen, Jenny and Jennifer) always make sure I'm happy with what I get.... from my nails, to my eyebrows, to my pedicures, to my daughters cute little designs on their nails, we always leave with a smile on our face! Where do I begin? I've been with Mimi for years, before she owned her own shop. She would do my manicures and honestly brought my eyebrow shape back. By brows were a mess before she got her her hands on them. I've followed mimi from 2 previous shops and was so glad when she got her own some years ago. Worst worst place ever I was recommended by a friend my last nail salon I had stop attending because my nail technician said she no longer worked anymore and so I decided to look for a nail salon so I let my friend know since she also gets her nails done there so I went based on what she told me when I got there it was so hot and stuffy But that's not the case One she made fun of my disability and two she charge me more then she told my I felt so uncomfortable with her right away and the charge over the phone was $60 dollars and when I was set to pay it came up to $70 and I only had $60 so I just had to owe her $10 but since that day and the 1 st time things where looking very bad so if I had to give this place a no star rating I will but I have to at least give her one star read more

My full facial wax is great and I have gotten great compliments on my eyebrows since I've been going there. Plus they don't burn your face and take the time to do my wax right. Second the acrylic nails are done poorly I had gotten a full set two days before Valentine's day and three days later they easily came off. I was so disappointed. I've gone here a few times and really like the quality of polish they use and the price. That said, the place is extremely unsanitary. I've noticed that they will use the same tools from one person to the next without cleaning them. The girls do a good job, but there is a man who works there who does the gel manicures who I had to sit through twice. It was disgusting. Both times he wore gloves that were literally yellow and had holes in them they were so old. They felt so gross and I was cringing the whole time. I can't say enough how disgusting it was. I swore after the first time that if they directed me towards him again, I would decline, but in the moment, I felt too rude saying something. I'll be looking for a different salon now. read more
