Walk-in for 2 on a Saturday night and got seated at a booth right away, they said all the outside seats were reserved. Which was fine since it ended up being super windy. Tried the jamaiquita spritz and it was okay, a bit too fruity for my preference. Much preferred my friend's paper plane. Had the fried chicken sandwich and it was gigantic, came out on basically a small baguette. Fried chicken was very tasty though I think could have used some pickles. Fries were alright, nothing special there. Will have to come back another day with a reservation to sit outside.

    Busy Saturday night!!!

Street parking only One elevator only, very slow We end up taking the stairs ID check in and stamp upon entry Small location, big balcony, DJ in the corner with great beats Small tables and long long longgg wait Understandable since it's a Saturday night with nice vibe and good weather It toke me way too long for one drink with my friends, too scared to try their food this time. Will have come again on a weekday

Came on a Saturday night with a reservation for a semi large group around 7 o'clock. The place was not too busy yet. However it could easily get to that point giving the environment allowing for outdoor fun on a terrace that overlooks downtown Livermore from the third floor and a lively inside, enclosed space with good music. There's open bar seating, which is great if you're there for a small party and just a cocktail and honestly that's probably what I'd recommend at most. I wouldn't say the service was bad but it was highly disorganized. For example, just having simple request such as getting heaters turned on during a windy afternoon took about 15 to 20 minutes and multiple request to multiple waiters and seemingly no one have any ability to do it so there may be more training for the staff needed to accommodate simple request like this. The ordertaking was a little disjointed in the sense of half of our group got their order taken, but the other half was not greeted by the server and multiple servers came over to help us, but we weren't sure who was the main person taking care of our table. This led to a lot of confusion for a simple request, such as getting the bill at the end of our experience and even placing food orders. When we did receive our food, a lot of it was underwhelming, including the Orozco Pollo. The cocktails with the bright spot in this location and if I were to return again, would probably just stick with that. It's not a bad place, but I do think there are a simple operational improve improvement that can significantly enhance the experience.

We stopped by on the way home from Gilroy and we did make a reservation because it was a Saturday evening. It was empty. We sat on the roof and it was chilly but we had them turn on the heater. The service is slow. Like I said it was empty there was 2 other tables and it still took them 10 minutes to get our drink order. Another 15 minutes to order. We ordered an appetizer that had zero flavor and the steak bites were dry. The steak on the surf and turf had ZERO flavor and was overcooked the shrimp again ZERO flavor. They need to improve their flavors and customer service. I will not be back.

I was here with a group of friends after the new year. We made a reservation for the outdoor seating. It was cold and windy hence after our drinks were done we requested to be moved in for dinner if there's available seats. The staff was very helpful and they helped us move inside. The service is great, the food was okay and the cocktails were also worth trying out. They had really good DJ music we really enjoyed. We ordered couple of appetizers such as streak tacos, cocktail shrimps, and the shrimp with rice and vegetables. We had a great time. The entrance is a bit confusing as you have to come to the side of a pizza place (which is no longer there), look for elevator and go to the third floor.

Came by for drinks and it was very busy. It took about 45 minutes to receive our drinks. Our server did check in with us multiple times to keep us updated, which we appreciated. I might consider giving this place another try, but I'm still undecided.

The food and drinks are great. This place has a great view and chill vibes. Just taking a star away as service could be better. My husband had to go inside to order thrice so you can imagine how often the server checked on us. But otherwise had great experiences before. They have a great happy hour menu.

First time here..... We were kinda confused about where to enter, until we saw the signage outside of the office building.... We took the elevators up and BOOM walked into a little hidden Oasis Surprisingly we were pretty much the only ones there..... at first Inside of the restaurant is rather small, outside (rooftop area) is nice, lots of seating and decent views of downtown Based on the time we arrived we were only allowed to order from the brunch menu and my friend came there with the mind set to order a specific seafood plate that is only offered on the dinner menu......WOMPERS so be mindful of that.. Drinks are good (kinda pricey) Food is good, large portions and reasonably priced (empanadas are 10/10) Staff is friendly Over all this is a nice restaurant with a good ambiance. We would come back here again

I was so excited to try this place. A rooftop in Livermore!!! Yayyy Located in downtown Livermore which was really nice, you gotta take the elevator up to third floor. Once I got there, I got mixed feelings, the place look nice but kind of not organized. 'Please wait to be seated' sign was in handwritten on a piece of paper...ok I tried not to judge yet, got seated ordered drink&food. My tamarind drink was actually great and my entree as well BUT what turned me off was the sauce container! It was a plastic container... if you want to make it rooftop vibe, why can't you spend couple more dollars on the sauce containers? Later, I noticed they started serving water in plastic cup as well not to mentioned, service was really slow and not professional. Hostess could have smiled more and server could have been faster and more productive. I had to wait for my check for more than 10 mins. Once he got it for me, he stopped at another table to take the order first then dropped it off to me then waited and waited... no where he was found so I decided to walked inside to pay, he said 'thank you, see you' I then replied'I still have to pay' Oh well, while I was up on the rooftop, I saw many restaurants down the street and sure enough, those would be where I would visit next time. FYI, there are free parking garage nearby.

My friends and I recently visited this place based around certain reviews because of ambiance, rooftop bar and drinks. However, we came across the most worst experience ever. I ordered a hot toddy, my partner ordered a irish coffee whereas my friend had ordered a margarita. I had a drink that tasted nothing but a lemon hot watered down drink. Nothing boasted anything with a bourbon taste. The WORST tasting drink that's even featured on the menu. On top of that, the Irish coffee was also watered down but the staff was not remotely understanding and I had to argue with the staff that we had a drink that was already paid for that had little to no alcohol at all. By the time we had finished our so-called cocktails, my friend had already closed out the tab for us so she can leave ahead of us while my partner and I had been harassed and asked we pay for our drinks. To our dismay, we had already PAID for our cocktails based upon our friend who had taken a photo of the receipt and told us it was already paid for. Ultimately, the staff was not only condescending, but the hurdle of the bar staff, chased down my partner and I to meet us downstairs after taking the elevator, after we had mentioned multiple times, the drinks were already paid for. The bartender was extremely dismissive but was rude and we were rightfully polite after explaining and arguing we had paid the drinks. Even though we had drinks that were watered down and/or had zero alcohol in our cocktails. Would we ever recommend this place to anyone after the mistreatment we received? NO!! BEWARE! I would never tell friends and/or families to go here. We were being demanded to pay for drinks that were already paid for. I have a receipt for the drinks that were included on the bill. I would never come back for the lack of service, rude behavior of staff and being chased down for something that we have not done as a result of the staff to be so rude to paying customers. NEVER would I come back here again. Even after we had mentioned and told our friend who had paid and had contacted the manager and called what had happened. They were trying to repay us by visiting again with free drinks on the house but I would NEVER consider it after the mistreatment we received whatsoever. This the worst experience I had ever encountered and I would tell you, NEVER COME here. There are far better places to go than this place around this area. The receipt should tell you otherwise that it appears on the actual receipt

The experience begins in a small glass-enclosed entryway where you're greeted before the hostess is notified by radio. Moments later, the glass door opens, revealing a beautifully designed speakeasy with an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. The space offers comfortably spaced bar seating, cozy booths, and tables, all surrounded by tasteful décor that perfectly captures the speakeasy era while incorporating subtle honeycomb-inspired touches. The spirit selection is impressive, and the appetizer menu is thoughtfully curated. Their specialty cocktails are creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. We sat at the bar, where our mixologist, Kalika B, was both personable and professional. I always enjoy sitting at the bar when the bartender is willing to share their craft, and Kalika did exactly that. She explained the story behind several of their custom cocktails, the history of some of their spirits, their signature custom ice program, and offered excellent appetizer recommendations. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire space was spotless and clearly designed with great attention to detail. It filled up quickly after opening, so I was glad we arrived when we did. Despite the growing crowd, there appeared to be plenty of staff, and the service remained attentive without ever making guests feel rushed. There is only one restroom, but during our visit it was never an issue, and there was no wait. I've been chasing speakeasies for more than 20 years, long before they became as popular as they are today. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out a local speakeasy, so I've experienced quite a few over the years. Honeycomb ranks near the top of my list. It's the perfect size--not too small and not too large--with an outstanding selection of spirits, exceptional craft mocktails, knowledgeable mixologists who truly know their craft, and cocktails tailored to your palate. The atmosphere is elegant yet approachable, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the experience. The Honeycomb Speakeasy in Livermore is truly a destination-worthy cocktail experience. They post their updated schedule and the weekly secret password there since it changes regularly based on bookings. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.

The tacos are on petite, single shells with a piece of fish, avocado and cabbage slaw on each. I happily ate every bite. A side salad would have enhanced this dish. I wish I had ordered an appetizer, like the deviled eggs or brussels sprouts, as it would have rounded out my lunch well and it would have been more filling. First off, this is NOT on the staff working. We genuinely felt bad for them. Management thought it was a good idea to schedule ONE bartender and ONE server on a packed Saturday night. The entire place was chaotic, customers were visibly irritated, TVs throughout the restaurant stopped working, and the poor employees were drowning trying to keep up. The stress was palpable that made the experience stressful and not enjoyable. Absolute management failure. At one point I used their self-pour beer wall and poured myself half a Modelo only for it to come out warm I was able to find another beer that was actually cold... but still charged for the warm one. The food was somehow even worse. We ordered the barbacoa nachos, wedge salad, and a kids burger with fries. The kids burger was the only edible thing. The wedge salad was drowning in ranch like someone emptied the whole bottle on it. Tomatoes tasted old and gross. Then came the nachos... tiny portion, bland chips, barely any cheese, no mango salsa like the menu claimed, and the "barbacoa" -- if you could even call it that -- was tough, fatty, and completely inedible. $74 later for one appetizer, one salad, one kids meal, and 1 1/2 beers. We only tipped because we felt bad for the server. We will NEVER be back. Thanks for ruining our Mother's Day dinner.
