I haven't tried the food yet but I'm betting my reputation by giving it a 5 stars... The place is clean but the food looks like the hole in the wall tacos you only find in Mexico! They make their own tortillas. And the menu is straight forward. They have a nice bar area and televisions so you can watch sports but not get blinded by too many televisions. But most of all they were really friendly to me even though I walked in 10 minutes before closing. I'll be back here. If After I eat the 4 tacos I ordered to go, it doesn't live up to 5 stars I'll update my Yelp review. But for now... I'm trusting my gut. read more

It's been 2 years since I've been here. Wow! They've got a full bar!! Service is still lovely as before. The restaurant is clean and I like the festive decorations. I love the different variety of meats offered! We had a party of 7 and they were easily able to seat us for a late lunch. Our sever was super friendly and so cordial. We ordered: - Quesobirria tacos - Tacos: Carnitas, shredded chicken, al pastor, chicharon in salsa verde. - Chimichangas - Grilled Salmon Salad - a kids burger Everything was delicious and food came out in a timely manner. Drove out to Livermore from Castro Valley in search for delicious fish burritos and found it at Ta Con Todo. The staff here is super friendly and cracked jokes with us. We came during the World Cup but it wasn't terribly busy. The food was delicious and the burritos were massive. I loved the crispy fish in my burrito, although I think some sort of sauce could've added a nice flavor to it all. The food was solid overall. I had the aguachiles -- the flavor was good, but it was definitely very spicy. If you're sensitive to heat, I'd be cautious ordering it. The texture was a little more grainy than I prefer, but not a dealbreaker. Dessert was the highlight for me. The flan was smooth and really well done, and the fried bananas with lechera were easily my favorite part of the meal. The Exotica margarita stood out too -- refreshing and well-balanced. Efficient service, but mediocre and expensive food. I like to get al pastor tacos, as a great pastor taco is a juicy flavour bomb. These were dry and flavourless, and servings of meat were small. Stopped in again after many years. When they first opened, the food was really good--unfortunately, not the case today. I came for lunch around 2:30 pm and was seated promptly. The restaurant wasn't busy, plenty of open tables. I ordered iced water and was given a menu. Since it was Taco Tuesday ($1 off street tacos), I asked the waitress if their crispy tacos were like a Taco Bell hard shell or the deep-fried type with meat inside (where you open the shell to add salsa). She replied, "Not like Taco Bell." I ordered two crispy tacos and a side house salad with 1000 Island dressing. When the food arrived, the tacos were exactly like Taco Bell--freshly fried, but still not what I was expecting. I was looking for something closer to a Jack in the Box-style fried taco, only better. Sadly, these were nothing special. The side salad was $8.95, very small, and came with just a few slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes--more like a $4.75 salad. Food was solid! Not mind-blowing but solid. We tried the molcajete and enchiladas divorciadas. The molcajete was pretty good and I loved the chicken in the red sauce. The beef was a little tough though. I wish it came with avocado like the other times I've had molcajete elsewhere but maybe I'm ignorant and that they intentionally don't put avocado or something lolol. The meat options for enchiladas were chicken, beef, or cheese and I chose beef, which ended up being a tad dry. I went on Father's Day and they had a trio walking around and taking song requests. Not sure if they always have this but it was super fun and I loved it! Service was a little spotty and slow at times but I could really tell they were doing their best. Great spot. Recommended by a fellow cyclist after our Meetup bike ride. Good location. Cycling friendly as there is an outdoor patio where we could park our bikes. Promptly seated and orders taken. Food came pretty quick and it was outstanding. I like fish tacos and it was one of the best ones I have ever eaten. Loaded with fish cooked to order as I had the choice of either grilled or breaded. Never had a choice before as it usually comes one way or the other. Our great server was part of the family business. A very nice young man. As a customer I always like chatting with the employees and or owners. I will be back and the sooner the better. Can't beat good a Mexican food combo with chips and a dark Mexican beer. read more

Ok so after scouring the menus of all of the other Taco places in Livermore, this place had mushroom tacos as well as zucchini/corn tacos. It's so rare to find vegetarian tacos! Let me tell you, my husband said he would order these in the future instead of carne asada!! So flavorful, textures on point. Super happy :) The guacamole was good and the churros were just ok. Stopped by after a day of shopping at the outlets. Cute little spot right off the freeway, that's situated in a small plaza. There was plenty of parking at 2. We were greeted with a big smile by the staff and seated right away. Everything was very clean and sleek. What we ordered: -Enchilada Al poblano w/ rice and beans- 9/10 I ordered one enchilada (but does come in a 2order) and it was real good l. I was thinking poblano sauce like the pepper but the waitress was kind to explain it was mole de chocolate(that's how I know it as sorry lol), and it was perfect. I will admit a lot more sauce would've been nice because it's my favorite mole sauce with rice and beans but overall still really good. -Quesibirrias plate w/ consomé - 9/10 they did not skimp out on the meat! So yummy and the consomé just hit it right. -Molcajete de mariscos- 10/10 Holy smokes was this packed with everything seafood. My husband ordered this, but I had to try. It had mussels, shrimp(medium& prawn), crab legs, & fried fish, all layered with a yummy red sauce and served with a side of rice, beans, and fresh tortillas. Waiting for my car to be repaired nearby came here on a whim. Good choice. The food was good not great but good. I love the full bar, patio nice ambiance and good service so 5 stars for me. Had a Maui Waui and an average chicken enchilada and a good Quesabirria. I will try to come back. read more

We come in her with our friends and eat dinner all the time and everything is always amazing. We've had it all from just regular tacos to super burritos, molcajete to the full fish plate and it never disappoints. It's always fresh with the best warm chips and salsa, rice and beans and delicious drinks because they have a full bar now. This review is also for our first time having Ta Con Todo cater an event. Last week my nephew graduated and they delivered the best feast ever. Rosa was so easy to work with, got everything on the order exact, there was a tremendous amount of food and at least three people said it was the best Mexican food they have ever eaten. It's always good to support a family owned business, but it's even better when everything is so delicious! We would totally recommend this place and are always satisfied! read more

Was passing by and saw a new taco place and even better they had a Taco Tuesday deal! Casual walk-up counter, place is new and nicely decorated. I appreciated the open kitchen and they were very willing to accommodate with any special orders or requests. Restaurant is on the corner across from Danica's and used to be an Italian place, i'm surprised they allowed it since Denica's also serves Mexican food and is right across the parking lot but I'm not going to complain! Just came here for my first time today and it was a wonderful experience! Our amazing server, Rosa, was very welcoming and super attentive. Some standouts from today were the delicious mimosas and churros! Some of the best churros I've had in the area and the edible flower on top was a great touch. Wet burrito was good, the guacamole was excellent! Drinks were great! Margarita was a bit too spicy for me but the sangria is homemade and delicious. It was slow and there was plenty of parking on friday afternoon. We got there before 6pm so we made happy hour which was a pleasant suprise. The server was quick, very nice and accurate with our order. Our baby was asleep in the stroller and we were able to enjoy food and drink. The music is not too loud. There is plenty of seats and lots of parking in the parking lot. I will be coming back when I'm in the area. read more

Craving tacos, we stumbled upon this restaurant. After ordering and paying at the counter, we found a seat at one of the many tables and enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. They will bring food to your table. I ordered the 3 Tacos with Agua Fresca Special ($14.50), choosing lengua and carne asada for my meats. Unfortunately, both were surprisingly bland, especially the carne asada, which lacked any seasoning. However, the corn tortillas were soft and held together well. We shared the Molcajete ($28.95), which arrived steaming hot and full of flavor. This dish didn't skimp on the meat or nopal and came with rice, beans, and tortillas. We also got complimentary mimosas. Although that was a nice touch, it couldn't quite make up for the lackluster tacos. The restaurant was clean but did not have the A/C on. read more

I LOVE Ta'Con Todo! First of all, their tacos are amazing. All of their meats are flavorful and they have fun seafood options. The baja (fried) shrimp tacos are my favorite. Their tortillas are homemade and their salsas are perfectly spicy. Even their tortilla chips are delicious - you can tell they are fresh. I recently came for brunch and it was just as good. Although the pricing is more expensive than on Taco Tuesday, it's still way cheaper than Denica's next door. I definitely recommend the chilaquiles! Came upon this place on a hot summer day, colorful and welcoming with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was helpful. I started with mango agua fresca-- it was cold and refreshing but no fresh pieces of fruit. The free chips were high quality and salsa had a kick. As soon as I walked in a woman who was clearly on her break greeted me ,and assisted me to sit where I wanted .This was a pleasant greeting ,and she was on her break .I wasn't sure upon arriving if I was to sit down, or order at the register . I sat down ,and was greeted by a sweet girl instantly ,and ordered the seafood taco with grilled shrimp ,and a blackberry margarita .Wow! My tastebuds are going to town ! The blackberry margarita came in a cute glass with Tamarind on the rim ,and fresh blackberries floating in the drink .It was clear to me , the mixer was freshly made ,and the margarita is going down as one of my favorites so far ever !
