Came here with a friend to have a few drinks before heading to dinner. Seemed like a nice spot for it. There was a good amount of people there. Took a while at the bar to get our first drink tho. We found a little table to sit and have our drinks. We got our next few drinks faster from the server than we did at the bar. It was a chill quaint place but nothing I'd frequent.

We stopped by recently to check out the pop up Austin Powers bar before they shut it down in August. I saw it advertised on a reel on IG. Basically the Bar was converted into a Shagadelic experience featuring Food and bevies gearing homage to the International Man of Mystery. Definitely picked the hottest day in the East Bay too arrive before they opened. The Bar opened at 4pm, but we go here a tad bit early so he hung outside until they opened. The patio had a few tables we could sit under the shade, Once we were able to go inside the Bar, Israel greeted us and took our drink order right away. Wifey had the Spicey Rita and I got the S'more Danger bevies which had Brandy, and Cream with a Graham cracker rim and a toasted Marshmallow. We were amazed how much work they put in the decor by the way the Br was decorated. The food was not ready to order right out the gate, but we were busy looking around at all the decor around the sitting area. We were able to order food once the cook arrived and we had added a One Billion Dollar Burger, Fembot Deviled Eggs; and ordered some Brushette. All the food was good and the drinks were great. What was an added bonus is that they had a Pet Adoption demo with dogs going on outside, and we met a few pooches from the event inside the Bar. Definitely glad we got to experience this unique pop up and 2 Thumbs up to the "most Groovy" Bar; Yeah Baby!!

Being threatened to be "86'd" (just say banned/we don't want your money anymore lol, what a nerd terminology) unless I take down my review is crazy. Well guess it's not a threat when you actually get denied service Sad to see. Best of luck. Pleasanton deserves better Didn't realize it was that serious. Was just hoping for some decent service and to get over it like men :/. Guess that was too much to ask 35$ videos though

The Cellar Door located in downtown Pleasanton has joined the many bars that go all out with holiday themed cocktails and decor for the season. "The Christmas Story" themed bar was decked out with holiday cocktails named after the movie, an array of movie and Christmas decor, movie memorabilia displayed, and a Christmas Story playing on one of the tv screens. We arrived shortly after opening and it wasn't crowded, as the evening progressed more patrons arrived. We had to leave early due to a party starting at 6. We had enough time to enjoy our drinks and food. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance. Our server was kind and friendly, the drinks were delicious as well as the food. We had the deviled eggs, artichoke dip with cheesy crackers, chicken street tacos, and cheesecake. Everything was tasty and arrived hot and in a timely manner.

So good, I came twice in the same week! Came with the girls and then brought the husband for some pre-thanksgiving goodies. Shout out to Scott, the friendliest of bar tenders, who took care of me both visits. Epic decorations! They went all out for their holiday theme, based on "A Christmas Story." Vibe is cottage-core meets kitsch (in the best way). We ordered off their holiday menu and had a "It must be Italian" (riff off an aperol spritz) and Bo Ling Toddy (riff off a hot toddy). Both were cute and Stroooooong! The toddy came in a gingerbread man mug, and the spritz was served in a large wine glass. Two cocktails for around $30, and totally worth it. Cheers to a fun, watering hole downtown!

Here is what the QR code takes you to and the hours listed on the homepage.

The Christmas Story vibe was great. We sat down, scanned the QR code to see the menu, ordered drinks and then said we are ready to order and were told 'we don't do food on Sunday'. Really? Would have been nice if we were told when we sat down or even when we ordered drinks. It says on our website we were told. No it doesn't! The QR reader will take you to food and the home page shows your hours by day and makes no mention of it. The server was very nice and found some nuts and chips for us to have with our drinks but honestly we would not have spent $70 on 4 drinks if we had known there was no food available.

The Austin Powers theme is only for a couple more days, if you haven't seen it yet it is lots of fun! Came here for a drink before dinner, and the decor inside is so cozy. A great place to grab a drink and hangout. Service was great, attentive bartender and just an overall chill crowd here. Definitely will be back to try some food and more drinks!

Here's a polished 5-star Yelp review that still sounds like you:…read more Nakia and I had a great experience at Sauced BBQ in Livermore! We started with the fried pickles, and they were absolutely amazing--crispy, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. For our meal, we shared the chopped tri-tip salad, and the staff was kind enough to split it for us, which we really appreciated. We also ordered the Bumpkins egg rolls, and I have to say... they are a must-try! They were absolutely delicious. For drinks, we tried the Sauced Favorite cocktail flight for $20. They were just okay, but we also had two shots of Crown Royal, which definitely hit the spot. Our total came to $109, which wasn't bad at all considering everything we ordered, including the drinks. The restaurant was clean, nice and cool inside, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We'll definitely be back the next time we're craving some good BBQ!

Sauced BBQ & Spirits in Livermore was an okay experience overall. The surrounding area was fun, but…read morethe restaurant itself was very loud, making it difficult to relax or have a conversation. The staff was not very attentive during our visit, and the service could have been more consistent. The brisket nachos were the highlight and had good flavor, but the rest of the food was not especially memorable. I have had better barbecue at other restaurants and even at home, so the meal did not stand out enough to justify a return visit on its own. This seems like a better place to visit for happy hour, drinks, and a lively atmosphere than for the barbecue itself. Beyond happy hour, I probably would not make a special trip back.

Plus I've heard about their Happy Hour and unlimited salad and bread. While I didn't go for Happy Hour for this edition, I went for dinner at their Saloon section. I'd recommend that section if you just want to sit down quickly since it's open seating. Jack was our server for this round. My partner and I decided to share the 2lb Sirloin steak with fries and calamari. The partner was hangry, but the salad and sourdough, which is unlimited made him satisfied, until the steak came. It was cooked medium rare and to my standards, so not too raw, but also not overcooked. For a sirloin, it was tender. I didn't need steak sauce. Just went in. Our calamari came later than our steak, and Jack was super apologetic and offered us dessert. We assured him it was ok and I joked that he made it a "surf and turf" now. We didn't finish the calamari since we really took advantage of that salad and sourdough combo. I personally wasn't a fan of the calamari though. Overall, I think the two of us loved the unlimited salad and bread that came with the steak. It definitely made us full. As athletes, we needed to fuel up after our respective sports (him-cycling, me- swimming). The salad was definitely a palette cleanser after the steak. It was reasonably priced, something my partner really liked. We ended up turning down our free dessert because we were very full and we didn't mind the error. We took home the calamari. We will definitely be back! Especially after our athletic ventures. Next time we are just going to skip the apps and make sure to have dessert because that fried apple pie was so tempting!

As this one had a unique vibe to it with its design and interior. When it comes to service that's where it could be improved. When we went it wasn't too busy but it seemed to take our waitress longer than it should've to get us refills on our drinks. Or to get our food when we were waiting for our meals. It also seemed to take longer than it should've for us to be seated too even though again the place was not very busy. The other criticism is the layout of the TVs as they're kind of placed at random which can make it frustrating to watch any game that is on. In the end, this is a decent location to visit and get lunch at. But it still has room for improvement.
