VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! One month after our repipe and still waiting on inspection. We finally called to ask , only to be told that there is a document that needs to be signed and notarized. This document should have been sent to us as soon as the repipe was completed. Here we are living in a construction zone with holes in our wall . waiting needlessly because you have poor customer service . We were told initially that inspections are behind . This could be one reason . Aztec was reco by a friend. We would not recommend Aztec . STILL WAITING!!! read more

Lied to me about pricing, and overcharged me. Over 1000 for a faucet. Considered legal action, but life is too short. Stay away.

We had a water pressure issue in our kitchen faucet after Aztec came out to do some work for our Association. The tech that came out told us that the problem was in our faucet, which worked just fine a couple of days earlier. Our neighbor stopped by; cleaned out the head of the faucet and voila! problem solved. Also, the tech said it would be $300 to change out the cartridge which might solve the issue. My husband and I watched a how to video and decided we could do the work ourselves. Price gouging; no preemptive warning that the work they were doing for the association might cause an issue and no accountability when it did cause an issue. Terrible public relations. read more

Super quick turnaround for an appointment. Plumber was very timely and professional HOWEVER ...BUYER BEWARE. They code your repair as a very general item so that they can charge you triple the normal cost versus the hourly. I was bait and switched to believe that I was receiving 4 separate repairs but only received 2 and then they have to schedule a follow-up appointment which I then find out is for another $569 ridiculous charge. I have already cancelled that appointment which I am having done by someone else who will charge $145. That is a crazy difference in price for a small bathroom toilet and sink repair and faucet change. I do not recommend this company. Please do your research and if your repair can wait a few days, let it wait a few days and do not sign anything with a "verbal guarantee" because they are misleading you. The techs that come are super nice and they are not even sure what they are supposed to charge since they are reading from a "corporate price" ... the office will transfer you to a different department if you question the price and say "everything costs more these days sorry" ....They will tell you that you need repairs that you simply do not need in order to pad your bill! Called Aztec over the weekend when our garbage disposal froze up and was leaking. Ron showed up on Monday on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. Options and prices were discussed and the unit was replaced. While Ron was here, I mentioned that one of our toilets would back up periodically. Once again we discussed options and selected a replacement. When Ron determined that the unit wasn't in their local warehouse, Ron drove up and back to Ft. Myers and quickly replaced the toilet. All in all a great experience. I'll use Aztec again for any plumbing needs. read more

In the beginning everything was okay. The advice was also very personable and subjectively professional. However, the implementation was a disaster. Bad advice and unprofessional work have ruined things that were previously intact. Whenever one of them was with us, they were always very understanding and wanted to speak to their supervisor to find a solution for us. One of the supervisors was also there a couple of times. Was then able to repair the damage, but caused new damage in the process. Now they deny everything, lie and present the whole situation differently than it was. Now I have the damage and I am left with the costs. I cannot recommend this plumber to anyone. Please watch out. read more

Called this company for a main water pipe leak. It was in the evening and they agreed to come out to take a look at it later in the evening. Got a call from the tech 20 min later saying he's on the way. Everyone I came in contact with were so pleasant and accommodating. I called Aztec Plumbing to clear my slow running drains. They determined that the blockage was in my main waste line and cleared one of them. The next day Aztec found that there was and second blockage in the line but refused to remove it unless I paid a second charge for them to complete the job. read more

After six plumber visits over a two week period and spending $3820, I spent my Sunday mopping bathroom floors from overflowing toilets. Called Aztec on a Saturday for a clogged main sewer drain. Service tech Wilson came and fixed the problem, with no problem. No extra charge for weekend service, and the service charge was very reasonable, and includes a camera inspection of the drain, at no extra cost. Great service, and I will recommend them to everyone. read more

I contacted Aztec plumbing to replace my condo water heater. I saw the same water heater at Home Depot for under $400 and as I have replaced over a dozen water heaters (including a tankless model) I felt I had a good idea what was involved. The young man arrived and inspected the job. I did ask for a additional main water shut off valve to be installed as the original one was very difficult to reach. He was using an iPad to calculate the charges and at no point did he show me the screen or print it out for me to see. He announced that the cost would be $2246 (the extra valve installation charge was $285). I was in the process of remodeling and needed to get this water heater replaced quickly so I accepted the outrageous charge. The work was done satisfactorily. I am making this negative review to warn others of the predatory nature of this business. Afterwards my neighbor told me her identical water heater was replaced for $500. My usual practice is to get 3 bids for every job. read more
