We ordered from DoorDash two weeks ago to try this place and loved it, so we decided to order again. Unfortunately, this time was a completely different experience. The food was not consistent at all. We ordered two beef milanesa combos and a burrito, but the milanesa wasn't even beef.it was breaded chicken. On top of that the burrito was noticeably smaller than what we got the first time and they didn't even include salsa. Really frustrating. especially since it's not what we paid for. Their taco truck has the best carne asada I've ever had in my life. I love Mexican food and regularly seek out authentic local Mexican restaurants. Their portions are gigantic, their service is phenomenal, and the owner and his employees are incredibly kind and genuine. I don't like anywhere near kearns and regularly drive out just for their taco truck. Cannot recommend enough. read more

Even if you are fluent in Spanish you will probably want to look over the menu before you get there. Very different from most restaurants in the US. A restaurant inside of a market. I tried the lamb tacos, delicious. My friend had a chicken quesadilla fantastic. The beans and rice were tasty but low in quantity. The lamb tacos were full of juicy delicious lamb. The menudo seams to be the specialty here. Most patrons were eating it. Let's Taco Bout it!! This hole in the joint is absolutely amazing! This is definitely a hidden gem because when you pass by this plaza, it's small hidden place right next to another store and you can miss it at times. Let me tell you though! Don't miss it! It's a must that you go here to eat their food! The tacos are not your ordinary street tacos that are small! These tacos are huge and the flavors are phenomenal! Let's start with the Asada! The meat is seasoned so perfectly that it's bursting with flavors yet it's not overpoweringly salty! It's cooked perfect because it has a good crust throughout all the pieces of meat! The Barbacoa is the spicy beef and it's so tender and also the flavors are just so good! The tortilla is corn of course and you can tell that it's made in house! The rice and beans are paired so well with the tacos that you MUST get it with any of your food you order! Since the COVID-19 they are only doing takeout but usually they have some tables in there and also a bar table along side their stove that they serve you right off the grill! With the takeout! You get the salsa(green salsa is so good and it's enough spice for a good kick), cilantro and onions in separate baggies just in case you don't like one or the other(I love both so no biggie)! In my honest opinion, I've eaten tacos at many different places and states(I was born and raised in Ca so I love me some tacos) this place is by far the best I've had and I'm so happy because I live in Utah and literally down the street!!! Proceed with caution before using their salsas! I learned the hard way yesterday when we came in to try their tacos. It's actually pretty cool how they've got this set up. From the outside it looks like a minimart (which it is) but they've got tables set up for eating. You place your order with a server who puts the order in for you. Then they call your name and you get your tacos and they have the fixings on a table. Pretty simple set up. On weekends/late nights they're limited to serving tacos FYI. read more

Best tacos in town. Market by and restaurant by night. They have rather late hours into the night, they have alot of choices but sometimes they run out of tongue. It sometimes can get over crowded when there are events near by or post club hours and everyone wants to get something to eat. Nasty food bought some tacos the meat was dry flavorless. I also got some tamales 96% maza and 4% chicken. This place is meh. I feel like Mexicans in Utah don't know how to cook, The tacos al pastor which are my favorite tacos ever are not good at all, they don't taste what they should taste like at all, the carne asada tacos are better but still fall short to what I'm used to in California, and I dare not even compare them to Mexico because it will just make it look even worse. It's not necessarily a bad place to go eat but as far as food quality and flavor is just lacking, the salsas are good and wish they had guacamole or avocado, especially because I see more avocados being sold here in Utah than in California and cheaper too. If you want a late night taco fix it's definitely worth it but these are not very tasty at all, they barely calm my melancholy whenever I miss real tacos. read more

I love the tacos from here! The jalapeño sauce is so my absolute favorite! I get the asada and lengua tacos normally. One time I tried the cabeza (head) tripa( I have no idea what that is). Big nasty tacos! The quantity is huge which should be a great thing. But it wasn't bcz they were the nastiest tacos I ever ate! Total disappointment. If you're trying to buy menudo don't go during the week. It as if the menudo is just being heated up during the week and not made that day. You can tell the different from a weekday menudo and weekend menudo. Sometimes I get lucky to get a good plate of menudo on Sunday. Other times it's as if they serve Saturdays menudo that was left over. read more

Ok... so this tacos are the best... from all the taco stands around and all the Mexican restaurants.. this is as authentic as it gets. The way they prepare their meats is very very good. The only thing I don't like, and call me crazy, is they fill up the taco with meat way way too much... but it really is not a problem because I will pick at the meat with just my finger until it seems like the right size for me and then I will eat the taco like a taco... hahahhah... yeah... anyway, be sure to only go try the tacos on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night form like 9pm to 4am... that's where the yummy tacos come into place, if you come before that you will find yummy and very authentic Mexican food like meat stews and other stuff but not the yummy tacos...
