    These are good!

I am bumping this up a star based on the restaurant doing some changes they have made. There still is no salsa bar, but they have made efforts to make it brighter inside and more open and also added a nice outdoor seating area. Food wise, the addition of the street tacos is an excellent change. Served with rice and beans and a choice of corn or flour tortillas, the choices are steak, chorizo, pastor, chicken, pork, tongue or goat (birra style). It is convenient for me to drop in here for lunch, so in spite of my prior review, I would occasionally pop in here. Now, with the pollo asado (grilled chicken) tacos on corn tortilla's with cilantro and onion and green tomatillo salsa, it is a regular. For $11 lunch, this is a good deal. The service is good too. My impression is that this restaurant is set up for happy hour and dinner and then a party. the bar area is of significant size and the bar is at least twenty feet long and well stocked. They have happy hour, advertise the 'best' margaritas, and host karaoke at nights. I didn't bump it another star to four, but it was close, primarily because it is noisy and adding to that noise is a jukebox type of thing that you will not want to be seated near. So, some positive changes in the atmosphere and food options have been positive.

Had dinner here after an oil change a few weeks ago. Server was very friendly and quickly corrected a few hiccups which occurred during the dining process. The chicken in the quesadilla was obviously canned, not that I care. But wet pink chicken doesn't really scream "authentic". Or maybe it does; who knows. Margarita was delicious! Be sure to make it for the live music and open mics on Fridays and Saturdays. Maybe even some dancing! Thanks!

We decided to try a new place & this hit the spot right on! The atmosphere is awesome! Love the decor and the mural of the Mexican Romeo & Juliet! The lighting was beautiful, the agave chandeliers were absolutely a beautiful touch! The service was excellent! Loved chatting it up with our sever, Jose! He made our first time here an excellent time and will definitely ask for him in future visits. He was always quick to getting everything we asked for or needed! Last but certainly NOT least... the food. The best chimichangas by far. So soft but super crispy in the right places. The salsa, queso, & any & all things food was the best I've had by far! The chicken quesadilla doesn't disappoint either. It was filled with chicken and made you full before you could finish the whole thing. The margaritas were amazing! They have a wide range of drinks plus if you ask for a certain one that isn't on the menu, the bartender can whip it up in a heartbeat!

Great Margaritas & good chips & salsa!

Great place -good find while visiting Greenville, SC! The service was great & the food was even better! Very clean & felt comfortable during COVID. Thank you for a great dinner & drinks! Would recommend this place to all!

Margarita in hand and this one is delicious! Fresh salsa and a great vibe of Latino flair!

Karaoke night seems to be every night and family gathering spot for weekend entertain. Packed house this evening and lots of confident singers LOL. Great for kids and the resturant is divided into two parts. One side is a bar and karaoke and the other side is ample seating to dine, watch the game or simply listen to the music and people watch. They upgraded the decor about two years ago and is an eclectic southwestern feel with several beautiful wall murals which appear to be hand painted. Ordered Texana Nachos: shrimp, steak and chicken nachos covered in Queso dip and 12 wings for the kiddos. Food delivered fast and hot. Wings cooked a tad longer than I'd like but seasoned perfectly. Some of the best sweet tea in town!

I've lived in the neighborhood for over 3 years and recently discovered this restaurant and I love it!! The staff are very sweet and all the things I've ordered are very tasty and come out quickly. This is my 3rd visit in 2 weeks and decided to dine alone for a quick dinner. I'm not sure how crowded they get but they do have a bar and I think a regular crowd that gathers for Karaoke. Definitely try them out for yourself if your in the area!

They allow smoking in the bar. The smoke flows freely throughout the restaurant. Until no smoking is allowed my family will not be back.

The weather was great and the out door seating has shade, so lunch with a view. It took a while for the rolls to come out, but they weee worth the wait. Tried two rolls. The Acevichado Roll - a unique roll that really worked. Has shrimp ceviche & is a creation of their chef. Our server told us the chef was from Miami and in the past worked for Bad Bunny. The Castle Roll. A boy heavy in the cream cheese but nice. Am a fan of salmon. Friendly server. The restaurant was not overly crowded but the food took a while to come out. If you are looking for tasty food and a nice "castle" vista check it out, but make sure you have plenty of time if you dine at this trendy spot.

The service was top-notch, and they even made us a custom flight of mocktails. They only get four out five stars on this review however because the only oysters they had were Virginia Chesapeake, which is a bit risky for a potential G.I. illness in July. Would be safer if they offered PEI or more northern oysters.

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. Extremely friendly to the veg crowd! Seems like a great kitchen and well run restaurant. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. Our daughter had the Brussel sprouts, which she said were delicious. Serving sizes are good!!

It is found tucked behind the building with only a small, letter-sized paper sign marking the entrance. No flashy signage, no obvious storefront, which adds to the appeal if you're into that kind of hunt. Walking up to it late at night can be a little intimidating but it is well lit which I greatly appreciated! Once inside, the space is dimly lit and small, which makes for a genuinely intimate setting. I'd say it's good for a quieter, more conversational vibe rather than a loud night out. We went with the bartender's choice: pick a base liquor, then two words to describe what you're after. I went with vodka and "slightly sweet, refreshing," for $18. The bartender nailed the brief but it wasn't a drink I'd think about again or specifically order by name. Solid execution, forgettable flavor. Service was the real standout. Our bartender was excellent at walking us through the concept and translating vague requests into something that actually worked. That, plus the atmosphere, is enough to bring me back to see what else is on the menu since we made it there just in time for last call so I ended up only having one drink.
