I had lunch here with a group of friends,there were 10 of us in the party. It may not look like much from the outside but inside is another story. Very rustic with wood everywhere, tongue and groove paneling on the walls and an opened beam ceiling. I really like what they have done with the interior and there is seating for approximately 50. Although they weren't expecting a small group they pushed a couple of tables together for us and brought out chips and menus. They have a large menu but I eventually settled on the Combination #8 which is a Taco and Enchilada with Rice and Beans. I also ordered an Iced Tea. Our orders arrived and the whole group was very pleased. Everything on my plate was delicious. The plate came out hot and kept the food nice and warm through the entire meal. I may be wrong but I think this is a husband and wife team. Both of them were friendly and provided us with excellent service. My Iced Tea was topped off at least four times. Now this isn't exactly in town, or even near town but if you happen to be in the general vicinity and would like some good Mexican food served in a nice little restaurant then Azteca is certainly worth the drive. read more

Azteca is an absolute gem tucked away in a small town, and it's definitely worth the short drive for those of us who don't live in the area. We've been making this trip for a few years now, and we always leave happy. The staff here is incredibly friendly and consistently provides great service. One of my favorites is their giant burrito, which I always customize by substituting the meat for their delicious carnitas, a decision you won't regret. Another standout is their Long Beach Island drink, which has become a favorite of ours. read more
