Wow! Such great food and service. We came to the poppy reserve and came here after building up some hunger from walking. We were greeted with a nice warm basket of tortilla chips and salsa...mm... I ordered the molcajete (my first time trying) it came as a hot plate with refried beans, cheese, and rice with a bowl of chicken, beef, and mushroom (stew?). It came with a side of a few tortillas as well! There was a choice between flour and corn. We also ordered a few tacos but I was too full and content. The service was amazing as well and I would love to try more dishes here.

Who would have know, but I'm here to share a great place to eat at. The food was fresh and perfect flavor. Service was grand family vibe flowing with everyone that working a true smile. I really love the wood walls like i'm up in the mountains cabin look cozier to set and eat in my house by far.. Also great tasting cocktails well blend one Sour Whiskey and one Tequila Sunrise loved it.. Next time I'm not missing out on dessert.

Beautifully massive plate of Shrimp Banderillas, extra cheese and mushrooms.

We're back!!! It was wonderful news to hear that they had gone back to being a full-service restaurant and they're open for dinner again. Yay! There's a real vibe to the place that's hard to describe, but you can see that people love coming here to eat. Same wonderful salsa, still one of our favorites in the valley. Creatures of habit, we started with salad, extra blue cheese dressing. Mr. Picky ordered the usual Chili Relleno, and I ordered the shrimp banderillas (extra cheese on the rice and extra mushrooms) in order to see if that's still as delicious as it used to be. Very decadent. Great dish to share. Need to come back and refamiliarize with the menu, try the soups we used to like. Back soon.

Just gotta drop a star because our waitress was a bit short and irritable, and the food was really nothing crazy amazing. Ended up having the shrimp and lobster fries appetizer which was pretty yummy, the shrimp on it is the best part. Even the kids loved the fries and ended up also splitting a chicken sandwich that was pretty basic, but cooked well and had a tasty bun. Wife and I split a pastrami burger, and gotta say the pastrami was really good, that was a great choice. It had a bunch of creamy cheese sauce on it as well and was gone in seconds. Ambiance was fine, place was really clean, and service was SUPER QUICK. One critique is when we asked for extra plates to split out food, the waitress told us they were out of plates because they used them all on the party that was in there. This was at max a party of 10, and the restaurant had to only have 10 more people in it total. Kinda weird to be out of plates at 20% capacity... she did end up getting us additional "trays" to use. Totally fine, just a bit odd. All in all, if you need some quick grub, stop in here on your way through. Price was pretty fair, 2 burgers, and an appetizer with ice teas for $50. Decent.

The restaurant does have its own parking, but that tends to fill up pretty quick. Would recommend passing the restaurant and parking on the right side of the road though there is a bridge that goes underground if you park on the other side. The staff was very friendly, and there was a long line just to order. Went with The, fish and chips, to tacos and ceviche. The fish and chips were the best part. The fish is decent sized and the fries were amazing. Crispy outside with a baked potato inside. I did not try the CVA that my friend did not care for it very much. He did mention that the ingredients refresh, but the flavor profile was not to his like. Recommend getting the three-piece fish and chips to share with somebody. It does get kind of pricey if you order everything à la carte. The views are amazing and definitely appreciate the filtered water station by the patio tables. Very family, friendly, lots of people enjoying the weather and outdoor seating.

We're originally from the San Fernando Valley, where there are a lot of seafood markets like this, so walking in brought back a lot of nostalgia. I had no idea this place even existed until someone recommended it, and I'm so glad they did. My best friend was visiting for the weekend, so it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. As soon as you walk in, you'll see fresh seafood displayed on ice that they fry to order. We ordered a whole tilapia, a whole snapper, fried baby squid, a small container of ceviche to try, and tortilla chips. Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The ceviche was excellent, and the fried fish was perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were pretty busy, and there was a line when we arrived, so expect a bit of a wait. But once you taste the food, you'll understand why this place stays busy. It was well worth the wait. We took our food home, and it was still amazing. This is definitely going to become our go-to spot for fried fish. We'll absolutely be back again and again. 10/10 highly recommend!

After visiting the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center, we serendipitously came across the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company. We started off with their Cup Chowder, which there were nice bits of bacon in their creamy clam chowder. We also ordered the SB Shrimp Cocktail and half dozen of oysters. All the appetizers were solid. The star of the show was definitely the main course. We ordered the Lobster Roll, Uni, and the Rock Crab Special. My favorite was the Rock Crab Special. The meat was sweet and tender. Another favorite was the Uni, which I believe this place is known for. The uni was very fresh and served on 6 raw scallop and lime wheels. Because this dish was an absolute showstopper, other diners actually stopped by our table to ask if we recommended ordering it--and, of course, our answer was a definitive yes! It was so beautifully presented and just as delicious as it looked. The Lobster Roll was good but it didn't stand out as the other two dishes. It was packed with Maine lobster tossed with celery, capers, chives, mayo and butter in a toasted hoagie roll. It was served with coleslaw and nicely battered onion rings. What really made this dining experience so memorable was the beautiful ocean view. We had just the right amount of sunshine, a cool breeze, and great food to top it all off. It really doesn't get much better than that!
