The best manicure I have ever had. Salon all to myself it feels like star treatment. Sabrina is incredible at what she does and takes great pride in her work and business. She is also a kind hearted person that exudes energy. Her salon is in a little cottage so it feels quaint and homey. Stopped in on my lunch hour to see if just by chance they had opening for a quick mani. When I walked in NO ONE said hi although they all looked right at my face. I went up to the counter and one girl was on her phone texting never even looked up. The other acted as if I was bothering her by coming in. The vibe in there was just plain yuck. I called this nail studio 3 weeks in advance for 2 pedicure appointments, one for me and one for my friend. I made it clear that I was coming in from Las Vegas so if there were any changes to please let me know. A week before our appointments I received a confirmation call letting me know everything was all set. One week later on a Saturday we arrive 15 minutes before our appt time and no one had a clue what I was talking about. The one lady that was there was super nice and felt bad stated she could "do one of us while the other went away and then do the other person afterwards." Unacceptable but NOT her fault as she was trying to correct the situation. There was another person working there but she was washing someone's hair and didn't even speak as she was the one who saw us come in the door. We declined as the whole purpose was to relax together and catch up on some conversation. I am tolerant of many things but disorganization and incompetence are not two of them and as a result, we will NEVER go to or recommend this place to anyone. I'm not even sure where pedicures were done as this place was set up like a storefront beauty salon. read more

Great work! I heard about this place from a local. I came as a walk-in. The owner was busy so she called another girl in. Within 5 minutes, my manicurist showed up. The pedicure chairs were amazing, very comfortable. They recline and the manicurist does your pedicure with your feet slightly elevated. Very relaxing. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly with great tips and advice in the latest trends. Most importantly, they listen to what you want and actually give it to you. The products are top notch and the service is excellent. Will definitely go again. read more

I made an appointment for a pedicure and a fill while vacationing in Scottsdale. In all the many years I have been having my nails done I have Never had anyone do such a horrible job on my nails. Instead of an acrylic fill that I made an appointment for my fingernails were wrapped and the acrylic disolved while she was doing my pedicure. She wiped off the dissolved acrylic, and I'm still thinking she is going to apply new acrylic, but Instead she did a quick file and applied a shellac. My nails are lumpy, uneven and so thin that they are breaking off. read more

I found Azure online looking for a salon that offered a REAL Brazilian Blowout. The first salon I went to stopped offering BB and the second changed the product with terrible results. I called Azure and spoke to Jocelyn Ramsey. She was incredibly nice and knowledgable. She answered all of my questions and knew exactly what she was talking about. I have long, very curly, and very frizzy ethnic hair. The salon is comfortable, clean, and everyone is super friendly. Jocelyn did a fantastic job on my hair!!! She had the right product, did the right process, and used the right temperature for delivering exceptional results! I've had at least 12 BB's done on my hair over the last few years and Jocelyn did the BEST of them. She's definitely put me on her list of clients and I highly recommend her if you're looking for someone who can do this process authentically and beautifully! This is by far the best nail salon I've been to. A nice hidden jewel in old town scottsdale. I was searching for a new place to get my previous set fixed, and happened to call later in the evening. I was easily able to make an appointment the very next day. Sabrina is just astounding, informative, and great at what she does. The salon is a studio, cute and cozy. Very welcoming. Every bit of my service was worth the money I paid for it, and would recommend Azure Nails over anywhere else. As far as I know, it's appointment only, but easily manageable. THE WORST EVER!! I walked in and stated that I would like black polish for New Years Eve and she said fine. I also broke my thumb nail and needed one acrylic put on. She obviously had never done acrylic and created this huge lump and then proceeded to file it for a VERY long time while burning me! Then, she is searching all around looking for black polish and informs me she has none but for the same price will do black sparkles instead. Ok, can't be that bad..... WRONG! TWO hours later, about 15 coats later I walk out with the most ugly, lumpy manicure you have EVER seen! Then she charges me $50!!!!!!!! WTF! Right!! Since it was the polish that doesn;'t come off, it wouldn't come off!! Never go there@!! read more

I would like to start out by saying that I have worn sculptured nails for 41 years. I have had them done by the best nail techs all over the world. I am extremely picky about my nails. I found Sabrina 3 years ago and will never leave. She is truly extraordinary when it comes to nails. She holds herself to a very high standard and will accept nothing less of herself. All of her nails are beautiful ( manicures, pedicures, sculptured etc.) her salon is very pleasant and peaceful. I really enjoy my time there. She asked me questions about how I prefer to wear my nails, and the end result is natural looking and elegant, a cross between French type manicure and American. Sabrina at Azure Nail Salon has been doing my acrylic pink & white nails for several years now. I've had acrylics for 30+ years, so I've been through a lot of nail technicians -- my experiences prior to Sabrina were acceptable to horrible; nearly all of the techs could do nails only one way -- usually a lot less than optimal and usually not able to adapt to special requests. Plus, they were usually defensive and didn't want my input. Virtually none of them made nails that lasted nor that looked natural. Sabrina is the first person who has treated my sensitive and difficult nails well, creates natural looking nails that last longer and stay in good shape, and she adapts the results to each my particular preferences. She is an artist, a natural, and a really nice person. I routinely get compliments -- my nails look beautiful, but also natural -- many people don't know they're acrylics. You don't have to believe me -- just check out the "Best of Scottsdale" awards for the last few years since she came to town. The Tammy Taylor products are great. Sabrina is exceptional. I look for the best, and am so lucky to have found Sabrina. All's right with that corner of my world. read more

I have been visiting Sabrina at Azure on a regular basis since August .. Which is saying a lot. I have never been to the same salon more than twice due to not liking my nails... I am SUPER picky! Sabrina has provided excellent French manicure acrylic nails sine day one! And the fill look as good as a full set if not better. And not only do I love the look but the quality of products ( Tammy Taylor)) is awesome in about 8 months I have only had two broken nails.. And I am a full time wife and mother so I am rough on my nails!, I highly recommend this salon.. I get my hair lightened there by Jocelyn and she works wonders.. After I turned my hair an ugly shade of orange Jocelyn was my savior and made it a prettier shade a blonde than I was going for!! I not only am a happy returning customer but would recommend their services to everyone.. My girls have even had their nails painted.. I am also looking into the other services as pedicure and massage and facials cause no one can di it better!!! read more
