I had a pleasant experience eating at Azzip ! I remember when Terre Haute got an Azzip, but I didn't even up checking them out before leaving for Bloomington. I thought their commercials were always fun. The service we experienced was great ! It was just like subway, but for pizza. When we were checking out, we didn't order drinks. The guy behind the counter asked if we wanted cups for water, unprompted. I got a square zip - which was delicious ! It's hard to find a pan crust anymore since the only die you can get is small. And if I'm ordering a pizza for multiple people, it's not going to be a small. The size was perfect for one person. The crust was crisp and fluffy. The only complaint I have is the price is steep for a personal pan. But I've had worse pizzas for $9.

Sweet Bee Pizza

SO good!! The crust was thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. The hot honey and pepperoni was delicious on the pizza. Perfect size for one person. It was made super quickly as well!

Chocolate chip cookie $.60. Amazing. So gooey.

I've been going to Azzip since the first one opened in Evansville, Indiana when I was in college. I change up my toppings from time to time. This last visit, I got a big zip with sausage, onions, tomatoes, and spinach. The person helping me asked if I wanted some extra cheddar cheese because it will help the spinach not burn as badly in the oven. The spinach still burned. I don't remember the spinach burning this badly. It still tasted fine. I would recommend putting the spinach on the bottom of the pizza instead of on top of it. Maybe that would help. I also got a cookie. They're warm, soft and super chocolately for only $.60.

Food was great! The bread was nice and the toppings had great flavor. I always add allot of toppings on my pizza (more bang for your buck when the toppings are free). Customer service was great and they helped/informed me on what's best for pizza choices. Inside was clean and great seatings. It's right next to the mall so you can enter from the mall or outside of it.

After I warmed up the pizza it was delicious. The pizza took 20 minutes longer to arrive than the time given for delivery. When it arrived to me it was cold. At first I was over it and then hunger got the best of me. I warmed up the pizza and I was so glad I did. This was a vegan pizza with a gluten free crust. You would never know. My vegetarian daughter ate the pizza with me and devoured it. I would order again. By the way, my daughter asked me the name of the pizza place, I told her I didn't know because it was spelled funny. She politely laughed at me and told me it was pizza spelled backwards! . I'm sure you all knew that

Plenty of vegan and gluten free options! I've tried the vegan banh mi, vegan reuben, vegan brown sugar cookie, blondie, and Italian soda in lavender and vanilla. The marinated tofu used on both the banh mi sandwich and reuben is delicious. Lots of veggies on both of the sandwiches. The banh mi wasn't traditional - the mint and cilantro were more like a pesto instead of whole fresh herbs and the marinated tofu is a little different - but I really liked their take on it. Both desserts were really good, but in particular the gooey blondie with the flaked salt topping. I'm also grateful for the option to add cream to the Italian soda here - I love Italian cream soda but this is the first place I've been in a while that makes it. The atmosphere is very casual as you can place your order and pay at the counter and then seat yourself, but it's still nice and comfortable, and kept clean.

The chicken pot pie was a bit too sweet for my liking. Baked goods are pretty good. Their matcha (notoriously bitter) was surprisingly done well. Service is usually timely. We came at an intense Sunday brunch rush hour and they were good about letting us know that we were close to their max capacity so that we were more prepared for ordering. They have comfortable seating both indoor and outdoor.

The individual ingredients in the bowl were all delicious and went very well together. I especially liked the seasoning on the tofu! The serving size was just right and included generous portions of all of the components of the bowl, not just filler rice and greens. I definitely would return next time I'm craving something healthy. I feel like it's a rarity to find really healthy but satiating fast food in Bloomington so I'm grateful to have this option. The service was efficient - I had my bowl in my hands within 5 minutes of walking in. There was a little bit of leftover food on the counter I sat at inside but the place otherwise seemed clean. They have a lot of outdoor tables but just one long counter along the window inside for seating.

Brayden was super helpful, welcoming, kind, and a great representative of not only this Kirkwood location, but of the company as a whole. Also, my food was fresh, plentiful, and super flavorful. I will definitely be back, and can recommend this excellent location to others. P.S. I ordered a bowl and mixed the Green Goddess ranch with the Honey BBQ sauce. They were a great combination.

For drinks, cocktails (and a few mocktails) and a smaller selection of wine are also available. I wanted to get beer but I was kind of tempted by the cocktails. My first choice was a flight that included a mix of The Tap beers and guest beers, but the waiter came back after taking the order and told me that they could only do flights with their beers but could let me sample the beers I wanted to try, so I did that, and the samples were probably around 2 oz each so I basically got half a flight. After that, I ended up ordering a real flight of their beer. The Tap beers I tried were: Kill the Lights stout (regular and barrel-aged), Tapenator dark lager, Frost Bite winter ale, Nefarious Nectar blonde. Guest beers: Jacob Leinenkugel white mocha stout, Weihanstephaner Hefeweissbier, BrewDog Winter Staycation. Not going to waste space reviewing all of these, but they were all fantastic. I was really grateful that they let me sample so many! And they also have food. The menu isn't huge but does have some variety, and it's not just basic pub food. I had the ahi tuna crunch bowl and it was pretty good! It kind of had the vibe of stuff thrown together in a poke bowl, but it worked and I thought the fish was done really well. Our waiter was wonderful! He was really friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My friend and I stayed for a while talking after we had paid and he didn't rush us out at all. Granted, it was a pretty quiet night. We both really liked the vibe of the place. I would love to be back soon!

Helpful guidance on menu choices and super attentive without being a bother. The room and bar are handsomely decked out, with comfortable, well-spaced tables and banquettes and booths. Makes for a fun setting. The food is seasonal and local -- lots of corn and squash this time of year. The chicken roulettes are excellent, as was the beet salad with Calabrian honey and whipped feta -- a nice sweet/hot combo. The steak frites was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested, and accompanied by scalloped potato fries. Don't miss the desserts, either. The sweet corn creme brûlée with popped sorghum was totally new to me and delish. The chocolate medley was also excellent. Kudos for well-made cocktails too. Great experience and 100% different from everything else in town. A little NYC in IN.
