Overcharged for the camber bushing and the labor. When I called him to tell him to stop working on it before he had done a single thing, he neglected my request and left wheels off. My air conditioning didn't work the same as when I took it in. I expressed my disappointment and they told me they no longer need my business. Well that was fine with me. I just bought my first diesel truck. After a few days of owning it I noticed my 4WD was going in and out. These guys are the best!! I was in need of a brake job as the shop I had an appt with did not call me to inform me their "technician" called out. Wasted trip and wasted half day. Did a Google search before I even left the other shop's lot and saw B and A's reviews. I called and Bill the owner answered. At this point it was approaching 3:00 so the likelihood I was going to get this done that day was slim. Bill asked a few questions and I was driving over there as soon as we hung up. I'll spare the details, but Bill ordered the brake pads as soon as he got off the phone with me and I was out the door, lock, stock and barrel- Including the test drive by 3:35. Not kidding. I took my car in for a minor leak and got it back with the leak being major. Now, I have to take it somewhere else to have it fixed.

Caution: Bill Bernard is the owner of B&A Automotive shop, may not be knowledgeable about all of your Jeep needs. Bill and Kelly offer attentive customer service, but execution is lacking. If you have a problem with service, Bill will choose to defer to Kelly, his office manager, instead of dealing with you directly for an ongoing, unresolved issue. At least this was my experience. Ask them before they start a job, whether they have experience with your requested service needs and what their expectations are for completion. My last 3 individual mechanical visits with B&A Automotive, which in my opinion should be straightforward visits from a shop that knows Jeeps, required *11 visits* to get things fixed. The 3 repairs were to keep coils from dropping out, steering stabilizer, power steering pump. Personally, I want 1 visit for each repair, to get things right the first time. Additional visits cost time and money. I finally took the power steering pump repair, to another shop because B&A couldn't get it right. The PSC High Volume Steering Pump Kit was installed 7/15/2015 by B&A. I got the Jeep running right 10/5/2015. It spewed lots of fluid from day one due to overheating. I brought Jeep back 5 times for this issue, giving Bill much leeway. On 5th visit Bill noted that pump blew seals and was *now* defective and not his fault (I asked him whose fault it was on previous 4 visits that pump was overheating and leaking - of course after overheating constantly and not installed correctly, pump will finally fail). I eventually took repair to a new shop (give The Edge Automotive *major props*). In 5 minutes the new shop diagnosed why pump reservoir was overheating, leaking and finally blew seals - The Edge Automotive installed a new pump, new hoses, with a Single Pass Heat Sink Cooler Kit. Bill was personally involved in power steering pump repair and on 5th visit stated that pump was a defective product and would ask PSC for a warrantied pump. In my opinion, given how the previous 2 non-related repairs required 6 visits, I would expect that he would've made this proactive effort immediately, instead of waiting so long. The new shop pointed out the B&A Automotive had 3 hose clamps on the return hose for pump, because they couldn't figure out why it was leaking, where the leak was AND in the process of installing the power steering pump, broke the serpentine belt tensioner. Bill Bernard felt I was too demanding when I asked for him to fully refund all money spent on parts and labor for this power steering pump installation after the 5 visits. Bill gave me a check for $1900 on the 5th visit, after seals blew, and conceded that they could not fix the problem (it was on this 5th visit that Bill was going to install the same heat sink cooler kit, with custom heavy duty hoses and custom build around the pump. The Edge Automotive did not do a custom build, but did it correctly, with heat sink cooler, in one visit). Bill refused to work with The Edge Automotive to help me get the PSC power steering pump replaced under warranty (IMHO, it was because the pump was never defective and B&A's efforts incorrectly installed the pump and it was due to B&A that pump finally blew seals and functionally failed). Simply stating, that you ask Bill/Kelly lots of questions before going down this path. It takes too much energy to chase down a repair done incorrectly, let alone having to expend this type of energy repeatedly, over multiple visits for what should be done correctly in one visit. read more

Never take anything to these guys. They really took advantage of my father, who is a senior. They are incompetent at best and dishonest at worst. He took his car in for a whine and they told him he needed a whole new rack and pinion. Car never drove the same, front end was always "loose". Took it back to them several times with no improvement. Finally, I realized not them even after looking at the tires several times, that the tires were directional and they had put them on the wrong direction. Also, the power steering pump was leaking fluid and once I filled it to the proper level, the steering improved greatly, but unfortunately it kept leaking and now we have been told by a reputable mechanic, that the power steering pump needs to be replaced after a very short time after their repair. I think the power steering pump was the problem the whole time and they did the wrong repair and did not correctly diagnose the problem even after we returned the car to them several times. NOT recommended. read more
