I was referred by Geico for repair to my Toyota Rav 4 after hitting an animal on the freeway. Had to get rental car for 4 days. They got paid right away from Insurance Company. Within a month the bumper was coming off and the panels underneath were loose. I contacted insurance company and they once again referred me back to B&B Auto to fix the bumper again. Had to get rental car again and they were paid again by insurance company. Should have known better than to give them another try. FAILURE This time the bumper fell off immediately. This spring, my new, beautiful, red car was hit by a complete loser in a stolen vehicle while it was parked in front of my house at midnight. I was not sure my car could be repaired or if it would ever drive the same again. It sustained a lot of damage but luckily my insurance company decided was likely able to be salvaged. I looked at the reviews for many of the insurance approved body shops and found B&B Auto. They had great reviews and now I know why. I will tell you that B&B took a long time to complete the repairs (exceeded the 30 days allowed) BUT Sean stayed in constant communication with me about the process and I was very well taken care of. He makes this business what it is. Wow!! Sean and his team are amazing!! So a drunk driver hit our car while we were driving( we are both ok) but the car got some side damage. And the drunk driver's insurance recommended some shops in our area and I decided to choose B&B auto body, I did some research and he was the best choice. So I first met Sean(the owner) and it was super fast to drop the car off, I met Sean, he looked at the car, told me some info on the car, he is very detailed and explained everything to me, I love that, that makes customers have more confidence in the shop. So we went and did some paperwork and I was out in 5-10 minutes. So I dropped the car off on 8/21/18 and he kept me updated throughout the process, and we picked up the car on 8/31/18. What I also love what he told me is he only uses original Parts only, NO AFTERMARKET PARTS. That's awesome!! The car looks brand new again!! The paint is perfect!! Matches exactly like factory paint. Sean and his team did an amazing job on our car!! I recommend B&B Auto shop to anyone that needs auto body work done and done right the first time. This body shop is the best in Thousand Oaks/Westlake village area. They are professional, honest, clean, and very reasonably priced. I took my car in for a front bumper repair and Sean greeted me and told me they will inspect and let me know if it requires repair or replacement. 15 minutes later Sean came back with a smile and told me that the bumper was in the best case scenario and did not require replacements. He put both side of the bumper back in and clipped them in their original place free of charge. I have visited many body shops over the years and never met anyone that's as honest, professional, and done as great work as this one. I gifted my daughter my 20 year old Honda Civic. The front end driver's side was mangled about 15 years ago in a minor accident. The headlights were extremely foggy. When I got the car back, it looked as it did when it rolled off the lot. They even managed to locate a discontinued part that was critical to the job. This place is amazing! I had some minor front bumper damage from scraping a pole on the way out of a tight parking spot - paint transfer, and the plastic well for my fog light popped out intact and unharmed (along with its fasteners). I was looking for estimates and decided to call B&B because they're local to me and I hoped I could swing by on my lunch. The gentleman on the phone was friendly and helpful, and talked me through their process. When I did stop by, Louise, the shop owner, came out to meet me as I was parking. I showed her the damage and she had me drive back to their service area. The technician had everything fixed up in maybe two minutes? Then Louise had me drive back out to the front of the shop and she removed the paint transfer. The bumper looks brand new and it was so quick. I was in and out with time on my lunch hour to spare. They were so nice, and assessed the situation so fast. The repair looks flawless. I hope I don't need body work again, but if I do, I'm headed to B&B for sure. Louise got the approval from insurance to do the repairs and failed to execute. A week went by with no action from her part. She said she never got the email from insurance with approval (LIES). I got the same email and she was copied. We verified her email address and there was nothing wrong with it since it was the same email address used when she submitted the quote. I went to pick up my car since she was already being rude and she invoiced me $2,500 to get it out. I had to settle and paid her $1,500 for submitting a quote to the insurance and holding my car with NO repairs completed. I just wanted OUT of there due to her bad behavior. Sean, the Manager, was always kind and friendly. Louise was completely absurd. Yelp Review: I am not one to complain about anything so for me to take time out of my day to sit and write this extensive review really says something. I just think that people who are wanting to find a good body shop should highly reconsider using B&B. I use Yelp to read reviews of places to visit, places to go eat, etc. Yelp is where I found this body shop and based off the reviews which were nothing but people saying how great their experience was was the reason I went ahead and did business with them. Let me just say one of my biggest mistakes. My car has been in and out of that shop since December 21, 2021 until the end of March 2022 due to imperfections of paint, wrong color match on the whole entire back end of my car, overspray inside and outside of the car, missing parts, and misassembled parts. Keep in mind we are now in April and my car is still not right. The owner said because insurance "signed off" on the work that she won't touch my car although the website and paperwork state they guarantee their work which you will see below photos that the paint doesn't match. Anybody who's car that is would want it done and done right.. especially when the body shop is charging big time money.. having your car fixed and looking the way it did before an auto accident isn't asking much. When your car has been in the shop for 3 months and you've maintained nothing but respectful and understanding and you get treated so poorly by a business owner would make anybody upset.. Any time I addressed these issues the employees were jumping through hoops to want to help and fix it. That's when the owner Louise decided to step in and avoid the situation and dismiss my concerns. I called about a repair of the clear coat on my roof, and when I told them it was previously repaired as part of a Geico claim, they told me it should be warrantied for life. Turns out it IS warrantied for life and I never would've known this if I hadn't called B&B. Really appreciate them sacrificing the business and savings me a least $1,000. Our car was rear-ended by a driver who immediately left the scene of the accident. If it wasn't for the hitch on the car, we probably would've sustained more damage from the collision. The liftgate, bumper, and tailpipe needed to be repaired. B & B Auto Body changed this unpleasantly sour event into a positive one! Louise, Sean + their entire amazing Team was very professional and knowledgeable. COVID apparently made it difficult for replacement parts to be available for my repair. I heard the same thing from another shop, but they weren't able to provide a "best guess" delivery date for my replacement parts. Sean was able to locate the required pieces within his network quickly and made sure I didn't bring the car in until all the parts arrived at the shop so that I would not be without a car for an overextended time frame. When we picked up the car, we were thrilled with the results and impressed with how well the installation of the new parts/paint matched/blended with the existing exterior. The car was also cleaned inside and out. It was like we just finished signing papers and were driving out a new car from the dealership! A car parked next to mine lightly dinged my passenger door, no indentation, just a superficial paint scrape, but glaring to me on my new car. I made an appointment with Mike at B&B, and his detail guy professionally buffed out the scratch, and a even a couple extra ones in less than half hour time, leaving the door shiny new looking again in record time. I barely had time to settle into the magazine I was reading . I was also pleasantly surprised to find the waiting room set up more like a comfortable lounge with sofas, coffee table, complementary coffee, not at all reminiscent of an auto shop. This place is amazing and has been around for 45+ years and there is a reason why. Louise, the owner is a doll. I went in to get an estimate to replace my bumper. Instead of charging me 2-3k for a replacement, within 30 minutes she was able to pop out the bumper a bit and it looks great.
