We order delivery from here at least once a week. I always order a toasted onion bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, and the bagel is never, ever toasted. I finally called to complain, and the manager's response was comical, to say the least. She said the employee "swears she toasted it". I said "I'm looking at the bagel right now-it's not toasted". She then replied "I reviewed the camera footage, and she toasted it". C'mon, in the thirty seconds I was on the phone, she had time to review the camera footage of my exact bagel being prepared, out of hundreds prepared and sold that morning? These bagels are terrible. I have gave them a couple tries and everytime the bagel is stale/hard. the perfect location so it's always busy, but the bagels are definitely a day or two old. I had to go back in to get a new one it was that bad. Try a different spot. read more

I don't get the poor reviews of this place. I have visited this establishment many times over the past year. Their sandwiches, bagels, and spreads are always promptly made and tasty. Their coffee is delicious and always fresh. It's hard to get through their phones in the morning to get a call-in order, but I appreciate all of the staff and their kindness in taking your order when you come in, especially the pink haired lady. The only reason why that I did not give 5 stars instead - 1.) they are often out of standard bagel flavors relatively early in the day, which is strange to me on weekdays and inconvenient. 2.) the bathroom for customers is right next to where customers wait, and the smoked glass door allows you to see silhouettes standing outside, so I'm not sure what they can see inside. Let me start off by saying the bagels here are some of the best from living here on Long Island. They are a sister location to another bagel shop in middle island. I placed 10 orders for a whole wheat bagel darkly toasted with cream cheese. 6/10 of these pick ups including todays have been clearly untoasted. Very confused how darkly toasted gets lost in translation over the phone to not toasted at all but apparently the younger members of the crew don't pay attention to customers orders nor care if they mess up orders after 6 incorrect ones. I asked them how to order it correctly after mistakes placing blame on myself and ended up here today. Only when I go before 7:30am is my order correct and that will be my new cut off time for ordering here. Thank you for wasting my time over 50 percent of the time and making me waste over 20 dollars on incorrect bagels that come at 4 dollars. There is a female manager with glasses and she is so rude with the biggest attitude problem I have ever seen. She has horrible people and communication skills and is so rude to customers (me on multiple occasions) and even to her staff... they all roll their eyes at her! Always chaotic in This store. I have been supporting this local small business for over 20 years. The last 12 months I have had so many issues with incorrect orders. They either leave stuff off or put stuff on that wasn't asked for. the girls behind the counter Most of them are nice, but they sometimes have nasty girls. Ordered a chicken sandwich with grilled onions and fresh mozzarella on a garlic roll (a menu item) chicken was rock solid, so horribly I couldn't even chew it. The roll was a regular roll and barely any onions. Absolutely horrible service from this place. I ordered through Uber eats from here and they messed up my order and did nothing to correct the issue. I ordered a bagel egg special that comes with coffee and a side order for the sausage. The quality of the food was subpar. The sausage patty was cold like it had been sitting for a while. The bagel was alright nothing great about it. But they forgot my coffee even though it comes with the order. I called to get it fixed and the first time I called the girl who answered hung up on me after placing me on hold. I called again she put a Matt on the line who said I need to take it up with Uber. He did nothing to fix the problem just passed the buck. Even though they were the ones who forgot to pack it. They have it on their receipt that it should have been added. In addition they have a note stating if the order is wrong they guarantee to fix it. I received no help. They did not apologize. Bottom line I will not order from here again. I usually hit this bagel place when I'm on my way to work heading west on Sunrise. I like that this place isn't too crowded early in the morning during my commute, but by mid morning it gets pretty busy. The place is small but offers a wide variety of deli sandwiches and bagels. I texted in my order which was super convenient as it was ready when I arrived. (Text 631-830-0015 ahead of time!). I think the texting service is their best feature. I ordered an egg bagel with scallion cream cheese and I have to say I wasn't thrilled with the actual bagel. Their bagels are light and airy, sort of flakey looking and not dense like I prefer. The cream cheese is incredible, though. Really flavorful. I've order egg sandwiches from here and I am always much more pleased than I am with the regular bagel. The coffee is always really hot and you make it yourself which I like. I'll probably be back on my way to work, but wouldn't make a special trip. read more

Every time I give this place another chance it's always horrible. They get so overwhelmed and can't ever get the orders correct. You place an order over the phone go to pick it up and they don't even know what half the order is. You bring your food home and realize they are missing items. This happens every time. I wrestled with writing this review for weeks, it was very tough for me to give this place a rating. I'm going to stick to my guns I think and leave up 2 stars and allow my mini-review to explain. This place's food was good. The two of us went on a Saturday morning around 11AM to get some grub to go on our way to another event. She would receive a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll with ketchup and all I wanted was a salt bagel, toasted, with butter. Sounds like an average NY Bagel place breakfast order you would think, right? Well apparently not. I asked for the bagel first, then I said I would need the breakfast sandwich and as I was trying to tell the hatchet-faced woman behind the counter (surrounded by a bevy of smiling young women) what I wanted on the sandwich she shot back some vitrol about how I "SHOULD HAVE ORDERED THE SANDWICH FIRST..." in a very rude and nasty manner. She then proceeded to asked me three or four more times after I placed the order what I wanted on the sandwich, what kind of bagel I wanted, and what I wanted on it. It was clearly her passive-aggressive way of getting back at me as after I was snapped at by her I made a loud faux-apology to her for not knowing B&B's "Protocols". All that nonsense aside? The food was very good. I like my salt bagels with butter (toasted) a very certain way. Some bagel places make them with too much dough, others with too little. Same goes for the amount of salt on the bagel. This place knocked it out of the park. My lady's sandwich was commented on in a highly positive manner. She spoke of the good bread and how well cooked everything was. It's such a shame that that manager woman put such a damper on otherwise really good food. I'd love to have given this place 4 stars, but the poor service rated a 1 in my book so I settled on a 2 with a shoutout to them for having very good fare. read more
