Wonderful place with true NY style bagels... perfect spot to grab a bacon egg and cheese... for lunch, our personal favorite is the st James press on a bagel! This place is the best in this area. Come early as weekend mornings the line is out the door!

Got a bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel the other day and it was out of this world. The bacon was perfectly crisp (not burnt), egg cooked perfectly (I hate when it's over cooked) & bagel so delicious and toasted the right amount. The sandwich was warm and delicious. This is the 2nd time I have gotten a breakfast sandwich here and absolutely love them! I will be a regular!

Bacon, Eggs (Scrambled), American Cheese, and Pepper on an Egg Everything Bagel. SO GOOD!

This was my first time at St. James Bagels, I was in the area and went there because I had read many wonderful reviews. I got a BEC w/ pepper on an egg everything bagel, and it was by far the best BEC I've ever had! I will definitely be back!

Best bagels in New York. Great service. The egg sandwiches are creative and out of this world good. I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through town.

I went there based on other yelp reviews and was really disappointed. I asked for crispy bacon and specifically said not well done and burnt. But I got well done and burnt. The eggs whites were runny and I asked for a toasted bagel. I saw the girl who helped me toast a bagel, but that's not the bagel my sandwich was on. It was too dense, doughy and chewy. Their everything bagels are sparse lacking any flavor. It took 20 minutes to get the sandwich and was not worth it! The people are nice though.

No better place on Long Island for a bagel. Stop by on weekends and treat yourself to a one of a kind French toast bagel.

It's just a genuine local staple in the neighborhood. As usual, there was a line out the door when I showed up, but honestly, that's half the charm. It moves quickly enough, and, to me, it just means the place is doing something right. The staff are always super friendly, greeting you by name if you're a regular, and keeping things light with quick jokes or small talk while they work their bagel magic. This time I went with my go to: a sesame bagel piled high with cream cheese, and my dad went for a whole wheat everything with butter, and he absolutely crushed it within seconds. We both agreed the bagels are just as good as they were years ago. Fresh, flavorful, and warm. What I love about Blvd Bagels is their variety. If you're not in a bagel mood (does that happen?!), they've got a full menu of special from omelets, hot breakfast sandwiches, and some legit cold sandwich options for later in the day. Everything feels homemade and delicious. It's just a great classic bagel shop that's kept our neighborhood happy and well fed for years. Whether you're a local or popping in on a visit home like I did, it's totally worth waiting in that line!

The artwork on the walls adds a personal touch and gives the café a relaxed, inspiring vibe. It's the kind of place that makes you want to open your laptop, sip your drink, and settle in for a productive afternoon. I ordered the sugar-free brown sugar latte, and it was absolutely fantastic. It had just the right balance of rich espresso flavor and smooth sweetness...not overly sugary, but still comforting and flavorful. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks here. The fact that they offer sugar-free options is such a thoughtful touch for those who want to enjoy something indulgent without all the sugar. They also offer dairy free alternatives. They also have a great selection of baked goods and pastries to go along with your coffee...everything from muffins and cookies to croissants and other treats that pair perfectly with their lattes and teas. It's nice to have something fresh and tasty on the side, especially if you're stopping in for breakfast or a mid-day snack. One of the things I love most about Sweetwaters is the seasonal menu. They have creative fall drinks that bring all the cozy flavors of the season; perfect for chilly mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups. It's clear the staff takes pride in keeping the menu interesting and fresh. The staff themselves deserve a special mention. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely kind. You can tell they enjoy being there, which adds so much to the overall experience. The music was also a fun surprise...hearing "The Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Show while sipping my latte definitely made me smile, and the rest of the playlist kept the energy light and enjoyable without being distracting. Another bonus: there's a drive-thru, which makes it super convenient for busy mornings when you want great coffee without leaving your car. All in all, Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in Smithtown checks every box -- delicious drinks, tasty baked goods, cozy atmosphere, great music, friendly service, and a creative environment. Whether you're looking for a comfortable place to do some work, meet up with friends, or just unwind with a great cup of coffee and a pastry, this café is a gem. Highly recommended!
