Eh. It was just okay. The only reason why I went here was because it's right near my office and I was hungover. I got a classic BEC on an everything bagel. I was given an egg everything instead...without notice. It's not a huge deal, but it's also not what I ordered. It also wasn't a bagel....it was more of a roll. I can't believe how great the bagels are here. I used to drive 30min each way to get to a good bagel all the way in Bay Shore. This place is definitely a more convenient location for me and luckily even better! From the taste of their everything bagel, I can tell the new owner cares about food quality. This is under new ownership.. The place was remodeled and very clean. Owner and the employees are super nice. We go there for the bagels and egg sandwiches. We order by phone and it's ready for pick up..Delicious, and they don't skimp on the bacon like a lot of places do when ordering a egg sandwich. Highly recommend. read more

This deli is now called the "Bagels and Brunch" deli. The only changed I've noticed - aside from some changes in the setup - is that they don't have as large of a lunch menu (sandwiches/wraps) as they used to. They'll make anything you want, but I liked seeing the options. Other than that - I love coming here for breakfast. They have the BEST whole wheat rolls. There's definitely a difference in taste versus other deli's. Prices are typical. Update: knocking the review down from 4 to 2 for a couple of reasons. First, I realized yesterday they aren't open before 6AM during the week! That's crazy for a deli on LI. Second, they keep some of the pastries and rolls out of the deli cases and sometimes there are flies buzzing around so that's a little unsanitary and unappetizing to see. read more

Wish I could give this place a negative star. I found this place on grub hub on the online menu had a breakfast platter for $7.99. Instead of ordering online I decide to go in and place an order since I lived around the corner. When I walk it I was greeted by a cashier I ask her if they still have the $7.99 breakfast platter which she stated "YES we do". I place my order with a few ad on such as peppers and tomato. Thinking possibly my order will come out to $10-$12 the most. NOPE my order was $26, when I question why my order was so much and not the original $7.99 deal the cashier said in a nasty tone "the deal was for last summer". I ask her why didn't she state that earlier she proceeded to catch an attitude walk away yelling that she'll get the manager. The manager was just as bad as the cashier. He refused to give me a refund stating that ordered a bunch of stuff. This place has the worst customer and management is just as bad as the cashier. I WILL NEVER ORDER from this place again. This was the first time we were at this Deli. We are moving to the area and wanted to see how good the deli was and we were disappointed. The staff was clueless. We ordered a hero and asked for the works minus onions and this confused the whole staff. The didnt know what the works was!! This is a one trick pony place. If it deviates from what they are used to making they get confused. Their menu only has single meat sandwiches for the most part and a huge push on chicken and turkey. I had the judge and it was not bad except they put onions on it when I asked for NO ONIONS 4 times. The other sandwich was a club which had very little meat. Their pasta salad with broccoli was not the best, I had to put other dressing on it at home to be able to eat it. This will be one deli we will not be going to again. The staff needs to be trained or I can see this place closing real quick. In the display case they had hotdogs just sitting on Sour Kraut and they looked old and shriveled. read more

Today was the last time I will be going to this Deli. I have given them to many chances to get things right and once again today, they failed. I ordered two egg sandwiches. Bacon and egg on a roll, that was it, not to difficult, right? Wrong. Once again I got home, only to open them up and see them covered in Ketchup. How is this even possible. As a service tech I travel around long island and stop at a lot of bagel stores. By far this is the worse unorganized ass backwards deli for breakfast ive seen in a long time. I ordered a roll with one egg scrambled. I waited 25 minutes of my break. To see people behind me with bigger orders get there food first. When I asked they said they over looked it . So I got just the drink no breakfast. The cashier had a hard time ring up my large order of vitamin water she couldn't find the price and had to call for assistance. I hope this deli closes. One star is too much. I work at the CVS next door so I used to come here often. I actually got a job here before my CVS job and they offered $10 an hour, off the books. Yeah, I smell illegal. My friend was previously employed by them and has proof they use expired meat but I didn't find this out until after I stopped going there. Anyways, the food is ridiculously pricey. I ordered a wrap one day which said $10.50 on the sign but then rang me up and it was $15.00, I was thinking, "there is no way it can be that much tax", but I was already late for work so I purchased it and left. At my second job across the street, we all ordered food. I got a Capri wrap with turkey, ranch, bacon, cheese, and onion. Now, I won't lie, it was actually pretty good, however what followed afterward was the absolute worst experience of my life. I got food poisoning and had to miss 4 days of work. Those 4 days were filled with violent stomach pains, vomiting, and so much more. I almost had to go to the hospital. Please stay away from this place because I'm assuming my food poisoning was most likely from the expired food. NEVER again, even thinking about that experience makes me sick. read more

However, the place hasn't been renovated since the Carter administration, half the stuff on the shelves is expired, there is grease caked all over the place from the 1900's, they have the same damn Daryl Strawberry newspaper clipping hanging up for nearly 15 years, the salads SUCK, flies everywhere. She also never offered coffee or juice with the order she just threw in juice, stuffed everything into a bag which ripped and still gave it too me. Disgusting display of behavior especially in a store located in a small town. Word spreads fast. Don't treat the locals like crap because it comes back to haunt the business and in all reality these unprofessional employees forget with a small business, customers directly pay their paychecks. All 3 Have Great Food, Fast Service, They Don't Treat their customers like a load of garbage And they always have everything they offer available!
