The waitress was kind and attentive, and provided everything I needed. She surprised me with some corn fritters on the house, which set a happy tone, and they were yummy. I got the pulled pork meal, which was a sammich and two sides. Very reasonably priced at $16. The sides I got were cornbread and greens. The greens were really good with just enough heat; not too much so you'll feel it the rest of the day, but good enough to make me forget I was eating a vegetable. Me and veggies aren't real close friends. Anyway, the cornbread was great too. Not sweet like Yankees make it, but nice and coarse and delish. Of. Course the star of the show was the pulled pork sandwich. Tender as all get out, and moist and savory too. They had three sauces at the table, a sweet one, an original one and a spicier one. I kept asking the carvers questions that were answered right on the board in front of me, and they kept a very friendly face and powered through with patience. There isn't a ton of space inside, but they have a giant backyard with a bunch of seating.
