I just bought a used Hyundai and needed a key fob, purchased online, to be programmed. B&B gave me the best quote and I visited their shop for the programming. The tech was unable to program my fob, and to avoid a 40-mile round trip, I purchased a fob from them for $75. I trust the tech was not lying about my fob, but I have no way to know. I do know that they (and other locksmiths I checked in with) sell a $20 piece of hardware for $75, or more. It is Hyundai OEM, so they probably paid more than $20, but this entire aspect of "smart" accessories is a giant rip-off, at every level. I don't blame B&B - they have their overhead, and they are getting burned too. The programming computer cost $5,000, the tech told me, and that was their less expensive model! Needed new transporter/immobilizer key for my car, lost my only one. Alex came over and open up my car in seconds, crafted the key and set up the immobilizer in minutes.
