I was concerned about going into the office during the pandemic, but the entire office staff goes out of their way to keep everything sanitized and safe for their patients. I just took all three of my children there for a routine eye exam. I was so impressed how Dr. Bernstein explained step by step to each of my children, what the next test is and what it showed. My children are 9, 11 and 13. He was very intuitive that my youngest was very nervous. He was amazingly compassionate and has a great temperament with children. My family and I have been coming to see (pun intended) Dr. Benham and Bernstein for years. They are by far the best optometrists around. The Dr.'s and their staff are very friendly and professional and always make me feel very comfortable being in their office. Before I went in I always thought my eyes were just fine, after my first set of prescription glasses I never knew how messed up my vision actually was, it was seriously life changing! Staff was nice and professional. I have astigmatism and may be a hard to fit case. Unfortunately the contact lens I was fitted with gave me vision where I saw a halo or a hazziness around letters. The doctor rechecked me and sent the contacts back for some modifications. The modified contacts were still giving me the same problem. The doctor was willing to check again but this office is a bit of a drive for me and after one fix and no solution, I had lost confidence. Now I will be paying repeat exam and fitting fees at the next optometrist's office to get new contacts. read more

Dr. Seth Bernstein, O.D. Recently moved and it took me a while to find the new location. An example of how much I like him is that I went to the trouble to find him. This place was fantastic! I went in being curious about contact lenses for the first time and being new to having insurance, the receptionist ran my insurance to see what is covered and really helped me feel comfortable with my decisions and everybody made the entire experience very pleasurable! Amazing customer service! From the receptionist to the doctor themselves, everyone was extremely nice and seemed to really care about me as a patient. They listened to what my concerns were and answered all my questions I had. They showed me how to clean and take the contacts in and out of my eyes. Lissi made sure to call me after placing my order of contacts to make sure I received them as well as how the trial pair has been doing with me and again, answered all my questions I had! Dr. Benham was very nice and supportive and was very professional and had all the necessary tools to help me find out what kind of contact lenses I needed. As for COVID standers, everyone was wearing masks and made sure that everything was sanitized. HIGHLY recommend this place, I've found my permanent optometry office! read more

B&B has two locations, and I frequently visited the Corona location with Dr. Benham. As a student, I shadowed Dr. Benham as she examined numerous patients throughout the day. I must have seen her examine at least 30 patients, each of whom left very satisfied with her services. She is very courteous, has years of experience, and provides a very thorough exam. Our family of 5 are all patients of Dr. Bernstein, for over 6 years now and we are more than pleased with his office! We highly recommend Dr. Bernstein, he is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable! Dr. Benham has been mine and my families optometrist for many years and her care has been outstanding. She has closely monitored my eye health and always notifies me of state of the art interventions to address my eye issues. When I had difficulty seeing out of one of my eyes Dr. Benham scheduled an immediate appointment so that she could determine what was wrong. She is happy to make referrals when appropriate. She is very personable and is one of the kindest people I know. She takes her position very seriously and provides the very best care she can. I was very unhappy and will not return. The prescription they wrote for me was too strong. I found this out when I tried to fill the prescription at Costco since Bernstein and Benham didn't carry petite glasses to fit my face. When Costco filled their prescription the lens made my vision blurry. Costco identified that the prescription was too strong but I was told that it was Costco's fault as they only carried digital lenses and the digital len was the reason my vision was blurry. When I had my eyes reexamined with another optometrists elsewhere, she corrected the prescription and when Costco filled it, the digital lens were great!!! In fact, it is the clearest I've seen in a long time. read more
