The previous tenant had resided in the unit for Seven years and had Never cleaned the faux blinds. The blinds were dirty, dusty and some even yellow. When the blinds were removed, each window was carefully covered to ensure privacy. One week later upon delivery, they looked brand new.. They also replaced and or repaired the cords as well. I had these guys install blinds in my home, as well as a shutter in my bedroom. The blinds were fine, and I did not have a complaint about those. However, the shutter was a disaster. When they came to measure for the shutter, they measured incorrectly. They outsourced the shutter to some other manufacturer, and instead of it being expedited, (for an additional fee, which we paid), it took six weeks for the shutters to arrive. On top of that, when they came to install the shutters, it turned out the guy had measured incorrectly, and it did not fit in the window. It was too small. Instead of taking the shutter back and trying to expedite the shutter for the correct measurement, I had to wait an additional six weeks for the new one. Not only that, but they left the too-small shutter propped against my window, kind of leaning into the frame. The guy told me to use it like that in the meantime. Well, needless to say, it was not a fitted shutter, so it eventually fell out of the window, nearly hitting my dog, hurting my toe on the way down as I tried to sort of "catch" it, and nicking my floor. It literally could have killed my dog. This was only a day after they left. So we spent another six weeks without a shutter on our bedroom window. They did reimburse our expedite fee, but when we asked for some level of consideration for the complete disaster of the shutter situation, they not only refused, but began badgering us for payment. We had spent well over $2000 between the shutters and the blinds, and I sent a very reasonable message to the owner of the company requesting a 25% reduction on the shutter only (not the blinds) given the length of time it had taken, and the fact that it actually fell out of the window when it was left there negligently leaning, and hurt my toe, and my floor. (Meanwhile the 25% reduction I was requesting was only a couple hundred dollars, which wasn't much in the grand scheme of what we'd paid them for the blinds and shutter combined. We even Zelled the rest of our payment (minus the 25% on the shutters) once the shutter was installed, and I sent my reasonable email explanation for withholding the last couple hundred dollars of payment. Instead of any apology or consideration for all of this, or any concession that a small reduction might be reasonable, we were quite literally badgered via email over and over again to pay the balance due. Eventually, we paid it because it was so ridiculous that this owner would not give one level of consideration for this shutter mess. All I can say is be very careful when dealing with this company. They are not considerate, they are slow, unapologetic, frankly unprofessional, and you very likely will not get what you paid for. read more

The pulley mechanism broke on my father's draperies. I live out of state and contacted Jorge to inquire about setting up an appointment to have someone go out and assess the problem. Jorge called my father to confirm his appointment and arrived the next day on time and quickly determined the problem. The new mechanism was expertly installed on the date promised without a glitch. I had done my research prior to hiring B&B and after reading reviews, and talking with Jorge on the phone, I was sure I was making the correct decision to use his services. Called a week ago to have someone come and give a price quote for a whole house install of wood shutters. They said Wed. 9/8 between 4 and 4:30p.m. Perfect I was so excited to get new shutters for the house. Well Wed 4 4:30 came and went 5 5:30 came and went I called left message on answering service to see if in fact they were coming and no response. Thursday I just called to see if in fact I had a apt for yesterday or if I got the dates wrong. Was put on hold and then comes back to say oh sorry no one showed up for the apt. REALLY???? Then asks if they could come next Monday. NO THANKS already found someone to do the job. Someone who actually shows up to the apt. Good luck with these people. read more

Received a call from the owner today, first work day since I posted the original review. He explained that, in the past, his company has tried to alter/cut blinds with little success. His original statement that the original blinds couldn't be cut was based on his prior unsuccessful attempts. He was adamant that he wasn't trying to misinform me or up-sell me. First, I have to say that I was very surprised to get the call. I have to give the owner credit. Its not easy calling a unsatisfied customer and his explanation seemed honest. Because I like to support local businesses and he seemed honest and sincere, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Second, while I wasn't happy with the advice he gave me, I will say he was very professional and courteous when he came to my home. read more

Our office needed to install blinds and a friend recommended B and B Window Coverings. Jorge and his team are great. Jorge came immediately to inspect our unit and gave us a quote we couldn't resist. Jorge was very honest and wanted nothing but the best for us. There was no pressure to upsell. We needed two custom sized blinds and it only took a couple weeks to have it made and installed. We recently moved into the Rolling Hills Estate area and Jorge/his team are the best in South Bay. Jorge was very professional, courteous and helped us with black out temporary curtains when we first moved into our new home. There was so much going on then thus I didn't want to rush into anything and Jorge offered temporary curtains even when I wasn't aware he could do so. When I was ready, Jorge came back and brought all his samples with him. He was very informative, conscious of my needs as when I told him of my budget; he did all he can to accommodate my family. I was overcharged. Very unhappy with the service. Update: The company reached out via text and asked how I was overcharged after reading this review. I explained the lady from their company that called to charge me for the service told me "I charged you the correct price, but George said you and he discussed something else, and he didn't let me know." I explained the price I was quoted was higher than what it should've been if the lady said that the "original price I was charged was correct." It is untrue that 'something else was discussed', as I simply asked how much the service would be, I was not told of any special extra fee that would be applied. The company says they charged me $95.00 in taxes...which is not outlined on the invoice, and which is ridiculous. If this is true, why did the lady that charged my card initial say, "I know my math is correct" when she called to retrieve payment after the service was first done? Of course the company did not respond to the text response I sent which says a lot. Be kinder and more honest with your clients. read more
