I came in with a screw in my tire needing a plug after a terrible experience at Mavis Discount Tire, where I was told I needed four new tires and that my tire couldn't even be repaired. Unfortunately, that's the kind of experience I've come to expect as a woman going in for car service alone. This morning was the complete opposite. I brought my car to Tony, and it was on the lift right at 8:00 AM and finished by 8:26 AM. Turns out I needed two plugs, and Tony was honest and straightforward--he let me know my tires are about halfway through their life and suggested considering replacements toward the end of the summer. No pressure, just facts. And then the best part--Tony insisted the repair was on the house. It honestly felt like he knew I needed a positive experience this week. It completely turned my day around. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much, Tony and team! As for the review from Rick S below, that's nonsense, when I called I was told very clearly that they open at 7 but techs start at 8. Sounds like this guy has selective hearing! If everyone is raving about the place maybe you're the problem sir, Mavis might be a better option for you.

I went to Juan to get a valve cover replacement since he diagnosed the pvc was bad everytime he…read moreopened the motor cap it went away but the car had a whining sound.This would be the third time I get my car service at this shop.I bought all the parts from fcp euro oem valve cover and spark plugs ,coil and a starter.He gave a high quote but I thought WTF the shop is close to me and they stand by their work.The car was there for almost two days.I paid Juan cash,tipped the mechanic and took my car.After driving it for about 30 minutes the same noise was still there.I went back and spoke to Juan and the mechanic and they both looked at me and said "we did everything the way it should be done- probably the pvc came defective".I told him "this is a brand new valve cover not a used one, ok I'll call and get another sent out to me and return this one" He asked me if the company will pay for labor -- WTF.. Basically telling me I would have to pay for the whole job again.When I ask him what he meant he told me his mechanic has to work on the car again which is about 5 Hrs of labor which was the same price $700 not to mention the $1100 he initially charged for the whole job.He was very dismissive and didnt want to stand behind his work or guarantee it .Absolutely absurd! This is not how a business should conduct business. I could of taken it anywhere else for half the price. I had to take it to my mechanic and pay again for the job to be done the right way... these guys at elite are clowns. Guess what my mechanic found out .These Fucktards at ELITE AUTO WORK knew exactly what they did and never told me a thing.The mechanic snap one of the screws in half then tried to take it out with a tap and snap that inside trying to take the screw out and left that inside.He then put silicone around the new valve cover,cut an old screw or put the same one he snapped with silicone.I guess he put silicone just so it would look like it was screwed in.Instead of just taking out the screw and the tap that he broke. This would of never worked with all the pressure inside the valve cover when the car is on.So basically you charge your consumer double for your mechanics incompetence & dishonesty. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I would give zero stars.I posted pictures of what these guys do at the Elite shop.--- **consumer Beware**

ALL ABOUT THE 6.0 DlESEL POWER STOKE Shame on me once,…read moreshame on me twice, three times I'm the fool, I just moved up to New York State at the time , My truck started to cut out on me and loosing power to the point that it just died on the road, Someone told me have it towed to Bristol Motors, simple problem, a air flow problem ,not quite a 6.0 problem $800.00 bucks later, but Rick got it running again , A year later my transmission went, so I took it out ,and brought it to a shop in Jersey and had rebuilt , Then I called Rick and asked him if he could install my transmission, he said yes, so pick up my rebuilt trans and new torque converter, had my truck fat beded up to Rick's shop with a rebuilt transmission and a new torque conver, my transmission guy talked to Rick on the phone, told him make sure you ground the transmission real good, if not your going to cook it, He didn't ground it, he took my truck for a test ride and burnt the transmission and welded the torque inverter , he called , told me to get my truck out of there,that there will be a invoice on the set, I didn't know i had to bring a flatbed again, So HE'S NOT A TRANSMISSION GUY!!!!!! Finally I have a real 6.0 problem time for Bristol Motors to shine!!! This is where I'm the fool, my low pressure oil pump went, my same friend said bring to Bristol this what they do, I couldn't get a hold of Rick when you call the shop you can't leave a message,will after four weeks it was dun,Finally!!!! He charged me for the price of the oil pump job and plus on top of that another $800.00 Bucks for the time he put in when he messaged up my transmission and towing fees , I thought a discount was in order, not to smart on me , GUYS IF YOU LOVE YOUR TRUCK,ESPECIALLY YOUR 6.0 DON'T BRING IT TO BRISTOL MOTORS . I needed a new muffler and anyone that has had that type of repair knows it's an expensive job! Not only did Chester Valley give me a great competitive price, the shop came highly recommended and the work they did backs those recommendation. They not only saved me a boat load of cash, they did an outstanding job on my new muffler. I certainly plan on returning for tires and any other mechanical work that is within their abilities (e.g. brakes, rotors, mufflers). If they can't fix it mechanically they will recommend someone that is just as reliable. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this small shop that's been in the region since the valley was discovered by early settlers.

It's hilarious that you have to pay for a NYS inspection to make sure your vehicle is safe for the road but in all reality our roads aren't safe for our vehicles. Anyways, We got it there and they were happy to help. Unfortunately finding two matching 255/35/19Z tires for an all wheel drive system on a Saturday proved to be difficult and had to have them overnighted to CVT. Unfortunately in the world of FedEx, overnight means 4 days later but that's a whole new review. Once the tires arrived the CVT team got is up and running for an extremely reasonable price. Not to mention they didn't charge any storage fee for the five days the car was there. Kudos to not being money hungry animals! Thanks guys for helping us out!

My SUV suspension just "felt off" and the techs at this shop discovered one of my sway bar links were completely broken. Don't ask me what that is but Good Lord they were able to fix me right up pronto. Thankfully I didn't need to leave my car her for 3 weeks like many mechanics ask you to do, well not exactly 3 weeks but they tend to take longer than a day at times. This team had me fixed up same day. The mechanic also told me my brakes were pretty worn out but that I could go a little longer before replacing them to save some money and get the most from my current brakes (rear). I value honesty and fair prices which in turn gets my respect & loyalty so the fact the mechanic told me my brakes were wearing out but he didn't want to take my money (yet) when I could get more life out of the brakes I currently have really is amazing. I was super thankful for the honest assessment of my brakes and opted to change them now rather than later. Besides I don't drive much so the brakes I had were probably last replaced about five years ago so from years of weather my rotors certainly looked bad, at least to an amateur like me because I'm certainly no mechanic. Overall I am super happy to have found this place and am committed to being a loyal customer for as long as I live in the Goshen area. If I eventually get a brand new car sadly the team here won't see me for a long time until that new car ages but I'd still recommend them in a heart beat. For now we will have a lasting business relationship for the next few years till my current SUV dies on me, hopefully not too soon under the care of these auto experts.
