The staff at B&G Guns is knowledgable and helpful. They assist with projects. They install equipment upgrades. They have a good inventory of new and used guns, rifles and shotguns. Reasonable prices. They carry hard to find parts and tools. It is great having a quality local gun store nearby. They are open 7 days a week and stay open late. If you are a member at Shooters Paradise you get 10% off. Being a part of a shooting range is a real bonus in my opinion. Recently my TrueGlo TFO nightsights broke. The staff at B&G replaced it and processed my warranty claim. I was trying to do an FFL transfer for the shotgun my grandfather had left me when he passed. I called and made arrangements for and FFL transfer from Texas and involved both parties on numerous emails. I never received anything back from B&G until over a week had gone by and I emailed 2 to follow up. Then they send me an email saying they are too busy and to try and reach out to someone else. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I will have to start the whole process over. read more

Looking for a Glock for my daughter. Turners was sold out, went to B&G hoping for anything in inventory. Found a G 26 for $575, reasonable price we decided to get it. I let it slip that I am retired military, and was told that the identical G26 was available as a "blue label " for military for an incredible price of $410!! That shaved off $165.00 instantly! Also since I have a CCW, I didn't have to take the stupid gun safety test so another $30 not spent. Got the G26 for $478 out the door with tax and DROS. Can't say how happy I am we went there. Friendly staff and great experience. If you're military or LE, skip Turner's and go straight to B&G, they'll hook you up. We saved over$200 and they were awesome. Great experience. I visited B&G Guns today to purchase a firearm. I was helped by a gentleman named Dale - a 'Salt of the Earth' type of guy. The firearm I wanted was out of stock, but he was attentive in preparing all the necessary documentation to proceed with a sale upon arrival of new stock. Although he was the only person I interacted with, I did speak with someone named Julie over the phone, who was also knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend purchasing a firearm or accessories from here solely because they don't come off as the macho, gun experts that I've encountered at other gun stores. This speaks volumes to me as I've worked in military/law enforcement environments for close to 20 years around the world and have seen all types of personalities, but the ones that always stood out to me in being confident, mature and reliable are the ones that don't brag, talk shop, play name brand favorites or try to upsell you on anything. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how pleased I am with B&G Guns and your staff. But before I do that, I want to give you some background. I have been around firearms from a very young age. My dad was a hunter safety instructor and rangemaster for many years. My brother is a policeman. I bought my first firearm in 1974 and I still have the original receipt. My gun collection has gone up and down over the years and every so often I get the bug to update it. That happened again this year. I went to a gun shop 2 miles away from me and purchased a Sig P220 and ordered some night sights that they installed. There were three employees I dealt with there and each one was more rude than the next. I had to call them a dozen times and they actually said, "We don't call people back". I finally got the gun and they messed up the sights, which I had to fix myself. As someone who preaches customer satisfaction in our business, I knew I would never go back there. You are 35 miles from my house, but near one of the places I work in Oxnard. From the moment I walked in, every person I met was extremely polite, very helpful and seemed to all work very well together. My first purchase went like clockwork and I was kept informed every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better experience. Since then, I have dealt with several other people at B&G guns, both purchasing additional firearms and using your indoor range. Every single person has gone out of there way to help me, including Matt who has been emailing me quick responses as late as 11:30 PM. Because of the outstanding service at B&G Guns, you have gained a customer for life. Very helpful and courteous staff. Unfortunately, they haven't as vast an inventory as some of the major players; so their prices aren't as competitive - forcing me to purchase a rifle elsewhere. I had purchased a Ruger P95 about 3 years ago and I later found out I may have overpaid since I ended up buying it over msrp. Which is more my fault because I should have done more research before purchasing a gun. But last night u was cleaning out my Ruger and when u reassembled it the slide got stuck. So I looked around online for gun smith's and found a few. But B&G is just right down the road from me so I decided to go give the a visit. Jason was very helpful and events go to the back where it says employees only while he worked on my Gun. At the end of the day he did everything he could to get the slide out and they were so busy with clients he told me I could use the bench and see if I can pull the slide out. We it seems he losenened it pretty well cause when I pulled the slide it came right now. I asked him how much for his time. And all he charged me was ten bucks! And showed me how to be careful and look for next time when I put my gun back together. Great guy if you ever go to purchase a gun or have your gun looked at ask for Jason. read more

I enjoy going to B&G guns and looking around. The staff has a good feel and will go out of the way to help you. Tom has never led me astray and has even called me several times what a gun I might be interested in shows up. Kevin is Mr. Funny man and always seems to have a extra market for profit. That means he tends to have a higher price value when he sells. The best part is that I have never found a firm gun price in the store. George has always been great about taking something off the final price. I have purchased pistols, shotguns and rifles and never had a problem. If your paperwork is good then so are you. I use the range but I rarely buy ammo there. The cost is to high and a lot of the reloads jam. read more

The staff at B&G guns was some of the best customer service I experienced in a long time. I went to take a couple of my pistols to get some sights installed. James and Joe and the rest of the staff were top notch. You guys have gained a customer for life. I will be bringing more people to shoot at Shooters, but also have piece of mind that your staff behind the guns counters are very knowledgeable. Well, today about 34 days after I began my order and after coming within inches of filing small claims paperwork, I've finally been helped by someone at the shop who knows what they're doing. Apparently theres a few guys on staff as fill-ins who don't know very much about the business and do the best they can I suppose. If I had just spoke with Kevin or George directly I feel it would have saved everyone some trouble. Like good shop owners and businessmen though they've agreed to remedy the situation plus a little extra for all the trouble. Its not necessarily what a business does wrong that defines it but rather what they do to correct it. Therefore I am retracting my original beration of this business with the caution that you should only speak to the above mentioned Agents. Speaking to anyone else, except for your recreation, will be a waste of your time. I suppose I would not hesitate to purchase again here but only because I know who to talk to now. read more

This is a late review. A year of two or so, I brought in my upper where a case was stuck. After explaining that the round does not have any powder in it, two gentlemen (sorry I didn't get their names) helped me remove it, thereafter I asked how much I owe, they said nothing. WOW!
