My LG dryer stopped heating. I called a place I usually use. They fixed it, but it took a couple of weeks bc they had to order parts. It worked 4 times then stopped heating again. They advised I look for an LG service place bc they really don't work on LG appliances (not many do apparentl). I Googled LG & found B&H Appliance. He is both LG & Samsung factory authorized & he definitely knows his LG dryers. He was here in a matter of hours (just luck, he had another call in the area). Bud knew exactly what was the problem. He had the part to fix it. He explained why it failed so quickly. He showed me what to do to prevent having the same problem. By far Bud was the most efficient repairman I've ever had. Woke up early to find our 4 year old Samsung Dryer wasn't working. Called retailer (NFM) at 8:00am to find our order and confirm warranty. Directed me to the site to place a claim. This was a Monday morning and the first available time it allowed me to select was Wednesday morning for service with B&H. Within one hour of filing the claim however, B&H called and would be in the area that afternoon. They asked if they could come by same day in case any parts needed to be ordered prior to the Wednesday repair appt. They arrived shortly after the time I had specified I'd be home, and called first. Within seconds of diagnosing the issue they determined they had the parts on hand. Belt and Idler were replaced within 30 minutes and dryer works great! Not sure anything could have gone better, certainly never experienced or expected same day service within hours of discovering the issue. read more

Customer service is the worst here. Was working with this provider through our extended warranty service. They first lied about finishing the job and caused us to fight the warranty company. Eventually had to get NFM involved and the fix was forced to happen. Over the next 2 weeks this place kept cancelling appointments without notice. Just called them to confirm my appointment for today and they said they did not have one. Service man got a attitude with me and I called him out about his original report. He then said he is cancelling all work on me and refuses to come fix my dryer that on the first visit said he was not working properly but still left my house. NEVER use these people. read more

Wow what a terrible experience. Fridgedair contacted them when our dishwasher broke. I missed their initial confirmation call but called back 20 mins later. Was told the repair guy had already left so I would have to wait till the following Monday. Following week I call everyday just to be told the same thing, I missed the window. After 5 days of this I called again, and said, I've called when you told me to call, how do I get on the schedule?! I need my dishwasher fixed. The receptions then started laughing and said to her coworker "she is whining about her dishwasher" ugh yeah, I want my new dishwasher fixed. What kind of scheduling system is this?! If I need to confirm with the repair guy, give me his direct number. Unbelievable. Luckily, I reported to fridgedair and they connected me with a much better company. I would absolutely steer clear of this company. If they make it this difficult to make an appointment, I can't imagine they would stand by their work. read more

Was hired through Nations Home Warranty. Could not find the issues. They said they would come back out and charge me AGAIN if they could not find the issue AGAIN. I passed. Prior to arriving the company wanted me to self diagnose my own dishwasher repair problem because he "only wanted to make on trip". I told him I wasn't an expert in these matters and I also was on my way to work (he called Friday @ 7:45 am). He said I was rude and hung up on me. Now I don't feel safe as a woman inviting this short tempered guy in my house. One of the worst customer service experiences. Told the owner of the company what was going on with my washing machine. Gave him the error code and he said never heard of that code and would need to do some research. I said ok. The next day he calls me again saying we got this ticket for you about a washer, can you tell me what's going on. I told him I just talked to you yesterday and gave you all the information and you told me you where researching what to do. Gave him the code again and he said he needs to research. I was scheduled for them to come to my house yesterday to do the repair on my washer and they were going to be at the house between 8-12. I waited around my house for the technician to come. Around 11:45 I called the office asking what is going on. The lady said, oh they had to order a whole new door for the washer and it's going to be 3-4 business days. They never bothered to call me and tell me this or leave a voicemail. I have a pregnant wife in the hospital that I came home to wait for a tech and nobody had the decency to call me. I called today and spoke to the owner and he literally said to me I left you a voicemail. I said yes, you left me a voicemail and I called you back and you said you are doing research and that was all. You never said you had to order a door and you also stated you would give me a call after you spoke to the manufacturer. Never received a call. He literally got all defensive with me and mind you I called him from my work line which the calls are recorded and I had to go back and listen to them and he never once told me he had to order. This is a poorly ran business with 0 integrity or customer service. If you purchase an extended warranty from NFM you are likely going through Assurant and request a different repair shop. I completely agree with the other reviews. They were sent to my house through Sears with a washing machine repair. Complete lack of professionalism and POOR communication skills. Unable to adhere to the time-frame Sears had set up. He yelled at me and then my husband on the phone. Guaranteed if there is a misunderstanding he will quickly blame the customer. Rudeness personified. The only redeeming part of this situation is the parts got directly shipped to me, so I contacted Sears and they will send a Sears tech, and I will Never have to deal with this company again. Wish I could say that our experience was different than the others. It was not, unsatisfactory service, unsatisfactory customer service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Ever. We're a month and a half into having opened a claim for our washer machine purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart and subject to a 5 year appliance "total performance plan". Our washer is 1.5 years old. The Samsung front loading washer machine sounds like a helicopter about to take flight and a load of laundry takes about 4 hours to complete and usually never finishes the spin cycle. We had a very difficult time establishing contact with our technician, Keith, from B&H. There is about a 30 minute window between 0730 and 0800 when we could call him at B&H's listed telephone number to schedule an appointment. We were told that the technician had been trying to contact us but concluded that we must be blocking his phone number. We requested to schedule an appointment from the main service number but were told that we would have to coordinate with the technician directly. After several days of this 'game' we were told that the technician failed to dial our area code prior to dialing our phone number. It gets better... The technician replaced some parts on the Washer, strangely, the parts were ordered before he even looked at our washer. The work performed by Keith failed to address our problem. It still sounded like a helicopter. We were told to adjust the back right foot slightly and that would address the problem. It did not. When we spoke to the insurance company we were told that we should not be adjusting the feet. Well which is it? The technician was called out again and he begrudgingly adjusted the feet and declared it level. My level already identified the washing machine was level front back and side to side. The technician inspected the unit again and reassembled the washer. We now have a metal wire ring that was left on the laundry room floor. Is this souvenir part of the washer that was not reassembled or one of the technicians tools - beats me, but I'm not sure what to do with this souvenir. We reported it to B&H and they never returned to investigate. The washer continued to fail to work properly. We called B&H yet again to request further assistance, we were told that the tech was going to seek further instruction from Samsung. Fast forward two days later. I called Samsung and learned that the technician reported our washer was in perfect working order back to the insurance company. We requested a 2nd company come check out our washer and we'll see how that goes tomorrow. Apparently B&H is the only company local to the KCMO metro area. Tomorrows company is driving up from southern Missouri. I honestly hope that I never have to interface with B&H Appliance Heating and Cooling ever again - what a nightmare. read more

Long or short version.. I'm not sure I'm so upset with this company and the tech. The tech. came and made a repair to my dryer May 1st. The initial problem was that I had a clogged vent. He told me that I needed to get the vent cleaned or the same problem would re-occur. I was lucky and was able to get the vent cleaned the same day. Problem solved right... WRONG! June 9, the same year, just a little over 30 days, the dryer starts to spark and stopped heat. The tech. comes out again, (does not touch the dryer, does no inspection, is in my residence less than 5 minutes) talks to my teen daughter and informs the insurance company that an unauthorized repair was made. A crappy repair that he made 30 days prior was the reason for the maintenance call!!! read more

They were hired to repair our dishwasher by homedepot. He was 2 hours late for the appointment time. He came in, had to borrow tools because he didn't bring the right ones. Without asking took a tub off of our counter that we used to clean our baby's bottles and used it to blow the equivalent of sewage onto it and after we told him what he did he just said "just toss some bleach in there". He didn't put the dishwasher back in the wall correctly so we had to call him back when I told him "You didn't install the dishwasher correctly" his response was "don't get lippy with me". Wow! Repairman was scheduled to arrive between 12:00-5:00. I returned a missed call from them this morning before noon, only to hear, "You didn't answer his call this morning and he had questions, so now he's not coming today!" According to the completely rude and disrespectful receptionist, he needed a question answered before he'd show for an appointment, even though the problem had been explained two days prior. He wanted to order parts BEFORE even looking at my appliance. Once I finally spoke to the repairman, he was a kind gentleman. Unfortunately, I was in complete shock and disbelief at the unprofessinalism of his receptionist that I've taken my business elsewhere. The person that answers the phone and refers to herself as the office manager is not at all customer focused. I was trying to confirm an appointment for this week and she told me I would have to call back in the morning. I asked if she could just have the technician call me. She proceeded to tell me that I just did not understand because customers say they will be there and they aren't. I indicated that she didn't have to go on and on telling be how bad customers are. She said she did not need my hassle, cancelled the appointment and hung up. It is clear through other feedback mechanisms that others have had a very non customer focused experience with this lady. Negative 5 stars for this joke of a business. They diagnosed our washer over the phone, not an impossible task if you are competent, but he guessed wrong. He ordered a new tub when we really needed a tub and control panel. When I called the next morning to explain the machine was still doing the same things as before I was told in an extremely condescending tone we weren't loading the washer correctly and we need to find and read our owners manual. I replied what I thought was obvious "so you aren't coming back to look at my washer?" he immediately got defensive and accused me of putting words in his mouth. Assurant Solutions (NFM warranty provider) provided B&H as the company that would service my under warranty dishwasher. I have been lied to and yelled at and still do not have a resolved issue. If anyone is looking for appliance service or assistance, DO NOT use B&H Appliance in Kansas City. The business is extremely unprofessionally run-the phone staff less than stellar, though infinitely better than the repair staff. The man I always seem to get (not sure if there are others) is always quite rude on the phone. He was assigned the work I needed to do by Sears warranty service. He says he cannot ever set an appointment. Seriously, got mad at me because he says he called four times to try to get my range repaired. Yes sir, you did. You called four times on four separate days asking if you could come by in a couple hours. Each time, wanting to come by to do work with no notice. I tried to explain I needed a day's notice so I could make sure I was available, he said he can't do that. How do you run a business that way?! He also argued with me another time concerning my stove knobs, insisting something about them that wasn't true, I was standing in front of the knobs looking at them, he obviously wasn't. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a service company. They act like you are wasting their time when you call for your apt. One man was rude to me on the phone then when he came to look at the washing machine had a horrible attitude. After 5 minutes he said nothing was wrong with it that it was just uneven. I asked if we could run a cycle to make sure it works he threw his hands up and said go ahead. Then left immediately before I had a chance to even get it going. Sure enough it was still broken. I called back to have somebody come back and now I have waited a month for my washer to be fixed. They have told me several times they are coming the next day and then no show. I purchased an extended warranty from home depot and this company is who has to fix it. I have called home depot to ask for a different company but they will only use these extremely unprofessional people. My next step is contacting action news and bbb. This is the worst appliance repair outfit I have ever dealt with. We were contracted with them through the Nebraska Furniture Mart extended warranty company, so not like we had a choice. Our Samsung 2012 washer had worked flawlessly until one day a couple of months ago it decided to blow its top. The warranty company scheduled an appointment with the B&H Appliance. You have devote one whole day to staying at home for them to show up. After looking at it, he decided to order parts. This required another whole day a week later for him to show back up to repair it. Trouble is, his repair job didn't fix the washer. It continued with the same problems. I contacted the warranty company again. So I had to stay home a third complete day again for him to come out and look at it. He again replaced some parts. He told me there was no need for him to come back that he had done all he could do to fix it and that it was my floor that was the problem. This isn't that old of a house. I don't know what my floor had to do with it keep adding time onto the timer. The machine would also make a loud whining noise when spinning and then would make a loud explosion noise. I called the warranty company again and they said that he would have to come out and look at the machine again and fix it or write a claim to them stating why he couldn't. They scheduled another appointment. I waited all day again and no repairman ever showed up or called. I called the office to at 4:45pm wondering if they still planned on coming out. The office manager said no that the repairman was sick and that the warranty company should not be setting up appointments for them. I got a call a week later from the repairman saying he wasn't coming back out. He filed a report to the warranty company telling them there was nothing wrong with my washing machine except the floor and too much flex in it causing the machine to be off balance. Again, I don't know what that had to do with the machine keep adding time on it and making the whining noise and then making the exploding noise and then shutting down. Because he made this claim, the warranty company said they weren't responsible for this kind of claim and they would not honor any warranty claims on it. The person at the warranty company was as rude as the appliance repairman. I called Nebraska Furniture Mart to tell them this is the kind of service I was getting. They didn't care either. continued to use the washer since it was still operable. A few days later I was doing a load of laundry and smelled something really bad. I went to the washroom and smoke was pouring out of the washer. We finally decided it was too dangerous to continue with using it so ended up having to buy a new washer. Funny, but it spins fine on that same floor I was told that was causing the other washer to fail. Lame! read more
