I had them (fix) my wifes jeep wrangler and I was so upset by the poor quality and the treatment that I received by these people its almost pathetic The paint was oversprayed all over the car I paid to have new fender flairs put on of which they couldn't even wash behind them before install and the put a big scratch on one of the flairs when I pointed it out they just shrugged their shoulders and gave me an oh well you only Paid 8000 and this is our 8000 dollar level of work I opened the glove box and it fell on the floor as it was not installed correctly the couldn't even put back the ground straps Its a good thing they are by the airport as they are as fly by night as they come the passenger door was buffed and they went too far leaving massive swirls on the door. I feel really lucky to have heard about B&H through the grapevine. As a single mother, it's really hard to trust someone to take care of my car (aka the lifeblood of my family, how I'm able to get them food, entertainment, and everything else) and give me a fair estimate. Lucky for me, I heard this was the place to go for that small, family owned business experience and I was not disappointed. Right away they explained what had to be done on my car after various fender bender incidents and one more serious crash. They told me the car would be ready in two weeks, which I took with a grain of salt because I knew ordering parts and other jobs can sometimes interfere. I really appreciated being able to make final calls on what was less pressing, thereby reducing my total and allowing me to bring the car back for minor things when I can again afford more work. LITERALLY a day before the two week mark they called to tell me the car was done. When I saw it I could have cried. They even detailed it so perfectly, and since it had been sitting for several months it REALLY needed it. You'd never guess it had major body work done! Had grill damage and active shutter grill damage from hitting game on the highway. Talked to Josh on the phone and told me to bring it in that day. He looked up the parts and quoted substantially less to obtain and install parts than the dealer. Very professional attitude and obviously knowledgeable on what needed to be done. After placing a deposit, took it in 4 days later and all got done in one day. A couple days later got an idiot light come on saying out of washer fluid, no problem filled it up. Next day was empty again with a pool of fluid on ground. Called the shop but could't get to talk to Josh. Lady at desk said he was unavailable, but nothing he did would have caused a leak. Said they don't work on washer reservoirs and to take it elsewhere. Took it to the dealer. "Found that new grill and grill shutter fins have punctured the washer hose causing the leak" Mistakes happen, we all understand. What should have happened is that I was able to talk to Josh and bring it in for a re- inspection. Im almost sure Josh would have noticed what happened and repaired it quickly for free. The office persons are too busy screening out calls, acting like they don't give a hoot and not taking care of the customer. Time to find another body shop. Per my decision to bring my BMW into their shop after I was hit with medium to low damage, was the worst decision ever! It took them over a month to fix my car for starters. Reason for taking so long - attempts on putting used parts that didn't fit & my car being shot by a BB gun in their lot or so I was told. Once my car was done and in attempts to pick it up there was a huge crack across my windshield that was previously not there!! Then in attempts to pick my car up days later, I drove my car a mile from the shop and a part fell off from where the damage occurred. First, the good part: they did an outstanding job repairing the body damage on my daughter's BMW. This consisted of replacing the crumpled passenger-side front fender and replacing the (fiendishly expensive) headlight. They also did a superb job blending the new paint to match the existing paint job. I can not fault the work - it as top notch. Five stars so far. Not-so-good part: estimates could be a bit more accurate. I got a call after they started working on the car telling me that they'd found some internal components that needed replacing and that the repair would cost another $700. Not much I could do about that but pay it, and stuff happens, but I wasn't happy we didn't know about it up front. Then it happened again. Turns out they couldn't re-use the ballast for the new headlight and needed to get another one. Understandable...but what I really didn't dig was the guy initially quoting me what seemed to be the full (and rather exorbitant) BMW retail price for that part. It wasn't until I basically said "Dude, WTF!?" (and I'm paraphrasing here) that he magically found the exact same part for about 1/4 of the original quote. I found this pretty sketchy and extremely annoying - why not just quote me the most reasonable price first? Maybe it was an honest mistake, and I understand it's a business and they're in it to make a profit, but I got the impression he was testing the depth of my pocketbook, and I didn't appreciate it. To quote Tom Petty: "Don't do me like that!" (to his credit: he sort of apologized when I came in to pick the car up). But it knocks what would be a five star experience down to a 3.5 star experience for me. Bottom line: they do great body work. The next time I need bodywork done I would probably bring my car here. But I'd be *very* cautious about making them provide a thorough estimate and getting the best price on parts. If the owner is reading this: I will happily pay top dollar up front for labor the kind of skilled work you guys do rather than be surprised after I've gotten the estimate with what feel like sneaky attempts to profiteer on parts. From the very beginning, they reviewed the damage and repair with me, predicted about 2 weeks to fix, prepared an estimate and guided everything through the insurance (State Farm). During the repair, some hidden issues were found and resolved with an estimate of about $500; B&H handled everything directly with the insurer. It seems to be a family-run business and every single employee will say hello and ask how you are doing. I had my truck in here a while back and I highly recommend going else where my truck had left front end damage from a accident gmc 2500hd total cost were over 14,000$ with bent frame they said they could fix it so truck was not totaled out so after about 7 months of not having my truck they gave it back to me with missing parts and broken parts like the hood latch and now my windshield washer doesn't work. absolutely terrible body lines after sending it back in multiple times I got it back with some replaced parts and better but still very bad body lines, my hood still sits high in the back and have no idea why and kills me to this day. I took the truck back as is because of not having another option with it being my only vehicle and needing to get to work. read more
