I am from California and worked with my sales guy Lance and he went above and beyond to get my car I wanted. I drove from California to Tennessee to pick it up and drive it back in hopes there would not be any tricks or scams. Much to my pleasant surprise, there was NONE and everything was cut and dry. My interest rate on my loan was even lowered than pre-negotiated which was nice. I was very skeptical coming from the other side of the Country to buy a car but the entire process was very upfront with no hidden markups or hidden upgrades I did not want. Thank you to Lance and the Nissan team there for making this a trouble free comfortable experience. I love my car. I am certainly recommending you guys to my friends, family or my fellow Yelpers! It was certainly worth the long drive for a great buying experience. I will definitely be buying from you guys again in the future.

This is an update from my post of 5/13/26. Ok, after SIX weeks, this dealer finally came up with…read moremy forms that I signed and am legally supposed to have copies of anything I sign, pertinent to the purchase of my used car. I finally had to resort to threatening them with having an attorney send a demand letter for the pages. The people at Nissan of NA told me I would have to send this letter to THEM!!! And, they mad it abundantly clear they would do NOTHING to help me with the dealer as it was privately owned. So, getting the pages from them, including the CARFAX report upped this review from * to **! Still not good, but when I finally put the need in words the sales manager could understand, it went from "we don't do this" to "we shred these forms" all of which I know is bogus. If they are legal forms, acknowledging I understood the purchase, they cannot shred them. So, I told him "If you buy a house, you get all copies of pages you signed, including ones you put your initials on every page, even blank ones" therefore, you have them and you will give them to me. Bottom Line: I finally got the CARFAS and TEN pages I signed! And, I no longer have any reference advertising the dealer on the back of my car!

We knew it might take awhile but after a little over a month, Jennifer texted us to say that they received one that was very similar to what we ordered. She got us lined up for a test drive and within a couple of hours we drove off the lot with our new RAV4! Jennifer went above and beyond to help us be able to purchase this one and was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful every step of the way for my wife and I! I typically take my vehicle to an…read moreindependent mechanic due to cost, but I chose the Toyota dealership because I expected an accurate diagnosis and repair done correctly the first time. After two days in and a $200 diagnostic fee, I was informed that my aftermarket stereo--installed and functioning without issue for 15 years--was causing electrical feedback and was responsible for the problem. I was also told that the issue could not be repaired. During my discussion with the technician, the explanation was obvious he didn't know what he was talking about. I took my truck to a stereo shop. They quickly determined that the actual problem was a failing starter. Once the starter was replaced, the electrical issue was fixed. Two months later I still haven't had the problem.

Of those, Cookeville Ford had what we wanted at a good price and pretty awesome sales folks. At no point were we pressured into a purchase and at no point did we hear the infamous line "what will it take to send you home in this vehicle?". David Nelson was awesome and informative. He's an honest man that isn't afraid to say if he doesn't know the answer to a question. Highly recommend you ask for him. The sales manager was willing to negotiate a fair price based on NADA value and still leave reasonable profit for them. The negotiations were actually fun. The best part was that the used truck we got came with LIFETIME Power train warranty through the dealership. We were presented with an itemized list of what was covered; no sales pitches and meaningless buzz words. A full detailed itemized list. The finance manager was very nice and wasn't pushy at all. My advice with any car purchase: go in knowing what you want, know the NADA value of the exact vehicle, be prepared to negotiate (I swear it isn't bad, just have fun with it), and be prepared for them to try to sell you extras. I recommend watching videos by Kevin Hunter online before making any purchase. TL;DR: We would buy from Cookeville Ford again.

We purchased a prepaid service plan and the finance manager explained that they would come to our house and perform the regular services as part of the plan. I called yesterday to schedule the first appointment and was told by the service manager that I lived 8 miles to far for the home service, I asked to speak to a manager and was referred to Paris the salesman who sold us the car he proceeded to read us the fine print, I reminded him of what was agreed upon, he said he would have someone call us. I received a Call from Devin who said he was a service manager, I explained our purchase of the car and their promise of service to the home. Devin explained that the promise was made by an employee that no longer works for the dealership and the agreement so we no longer have an agreement.
