Well we were passing through the area, we heard it was the best boudin and cracklin around. Nice little place, they were very busy. Great friendly service EXCEPT the woman taking our order at the register also went to grab our food and picked it up with her bare hands. That's right Zero gloves! And this was after she took another order, receiving money from the previous customer then touched OUR food. No gloves. Very disappointed. Did not try the food. read more

Went and bought a breakfast sandwich and the lady wiped her face and I never seen her wash her hands. She made my sandwich with stale bread I'm done. I'm ok with old bread but not washing your hands did it for me read more

Very rude and RACIST! First time here and all we did was ask how long the wait would be for Boudin and the older front woman just shrugged her shoulders and rudely said "I DONT KNOW!" She obviously works there and knew what the wait time would be just didn't want to tell us because we were people of color! Shame on you! read more

Very good Cracklins. Meaty and crunchy but not tough. I really enjoyed it. The beef jerky was not as good. To much smoke flavoring. Good meat but overwhelming flavoring. Location was a couple of miles off I10 but not hard to get to. A very small meat market. If I lived local id be back to try the fresh meats but it isn't worth getting off the freeway for. read more

First off this is the friendliest staff ever. I pick up alot of sausage and other stuff for clients and they always are a joy to work with. Discetful business! Deer processing is a joke. Therefore, I would not recommend this business to anyone. Low prices are advertised to reel you in until your deer is ready to be picked up. Excessive charges were a common theme on my receipt! Consequently, my sausage was near five dollars per pound. Cash pay only should raise red flags. read more
