We had our daughters car towed to B&R Auto because it had a blown engine gasket. Got $300, felt that was a fair deal.

I could not have had a better car buying experience here. I bought my used 2006 Chevy Trailblazer…read morehere almost a month ago and it was better than I ever could have imagined. As we were looking around the car lot I was greeted very kindly by Dwayne. I wasn't swarmed or immediately bombarded, I actually got a chance to look around and when I decided to test drive it, he was more than happy to open the fence and move the little Camaro out of in front of it. The test went really well, the suv ran beautifully with no problems whatsoever. When we got back we went into the office, and were again greeted kindly with a smile in a non-pushy fashion. We decided to finance the car and he walked us through everything, answered any and all questions (some of which probably did sound stupid as this was my first time buying a car, thankfully I had my mother's help). Now to really get into details: The car: Being a used 2006, it did have slightly higher mileage than I originally had wanted but it ran more beautifully than my previous older car that had been totalled. All of the meters work, and I love the automatic headlights. The ONLY thing that did not work in this vehicle were some of the charging ports which is a common problem among this car and nothing I can't live without or get fixed myself. The paint job looks great. There are a few scratches on the back end but that's to be expected with a used vehicle, in fact for the price ($4,600), I was surprised at how good it looked! The tires aren't brand new but they're pretty close with great tread. The interior was nice and clean, there were no stains or spots, it was beautiful. The dealership: They had a nice small selection of cars to look at, so it wasn't too overwhelming but you still had plenty of choices. They're financing options are great and they're willing to work with you to figure out what you can afford and how long it will take to pay off, plus they don't charge a fee for paying more than your payment or paying the car off early. They seem to take really good care of all of their vehicles as all of them looked nice and clean both outside and in even though there had been a somewhat bad mudslide the past couple days and nights before we got our car. The salesman, Dwayne: This man was one of the nicest human beings I have ever met. He wasn't your typical pushy salesman, he wanted you to have a chance to look around and be comfortsble, whether that was with him or on your own. He was so polite and answered every single question we threw his way, he really knew his stuff about both the vehicle and financing. He made the whole experience of having to buy a car quicker, easy and hassle-free. Even going in to make my payment was a nice experience. I would definitely recommend any and all friends looking for a new used car to auto factory!

Truly horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE. I had an awful experience with Auto Factory and the salesman "Dwayne". I was promised a very clean vehicle with new tires, undamaged dashboard, 100% clearance for smog, and high expectations for a 2001 Dodge Ram. Dwayne stated how clean the interior, exterior, and engine were. I wanted to make sure the vehicle was in great shape and worth the one way journey of 3 hours! There was clear lack of communication on Dwayne's end both about the vehicle itself and the ability to visit (they are closed weekends- he did not share this information when we communicated over the phone about visiting on a Sunday). After driving three hours to the car lot, we arrived 30 minutes early so my father and I decided to look at the vehicle. The vehicle was severely scratched and dented all over, deep scratches to where they would unable to be buffed out unless the vehicle was repainted. My father who has been a mechanic for 40 years checked under the vehicle. The rear main engine was leaking. The tires were not new and while still were in good condition, had clearly been used for many miles. There was a toolbox built into the bed of the truck which was filled with garbage, empty Starbucks cups, and layered with garbage. The toolbox also did not close and had to be slammed shut and finallt would close on the second or third try. The license plate light bulb was broken and dangling below the license plate- useful right? Once Dwayne arrived, we were not greeted or welcomed by him at all- not even a hello!! My father and I had to greet him, shouldn't the car salesman greet his possible clients??! Both he and his wife (woman who was with him and stared at us from her parked car) made us feel very uncomfortable- he was not friendly in any way. He did not offer to answer any questions, provide insight on the vehicle, or try and sell the truck. After unlocking and searching the inside of the vehicle, many compartments of the interior were missing. There was a tear in the back seat. There was a chunk taken out below the stereo where a compartment part must have been. The sunglasses holder above the rear view mirror was missing leaving empty areas where something should have been. The dash was 100% damaged and severely cracked- covered with a dash mat to hide the damage. 48 hours prior to seeing the vehicle, I specifically asked Dwayne if the dash was damaged and he responded NO. Everything under the hood was held together by zip ties- I don't want to buy a vehicle where the motor is covered with zip ties holding it in place. The truck was guaranteed by Dwayne to pass smog. We have a reader in which we plugged into the truck and three codes came up negative. The Catalytic converter (costly repair), CO2, and NOx all failed the screen which means instant failure in a smog check. We traveled 3 hours (one way) while be promised a beautiful vehicle to only spend 15 minutes viewing a poorly described and promised vehicle. When we left, we handed Dwayne the keys who asked us if we would like to test drive the vehicle. We responded with all of the issues. Dwayne was unaware of the coding problems, claimed the rear end would be fixed ( when it was the rear engine leaking), and kept implying he did not know anything. If you do not know a vehicle, do not promise all these things- tell the buyer beforehand you do not know. We told him we were not interested. Dwayne did NOT offer ANY sort of apology, he did NOT thank us for making the journey, did NOT try and offer any condolences. Never once during this interaction time did he provide any apologies for clearly lying about the state of the vehicle, wasting our time and gas, and having us travel so far for nothing. He simply shrugged his shoulders and that was that. I drove in a car for 6 hours today, wasting time, money, gas, in hopes to return home with a beautiful vehicle but instead returned angry. I would never recommend this company to any of my family members living in Nevada and encourage people to stray away from this car lot.

King's Auto Outlet - Some pictures are only worth 2 words: do NOT. You hear about snake salesmen, here's one for real!

See, here's the thing: anytime a person buys a car, and especially a female, they just don't want…read moreto drive off with a piece of junk that dies 500 yards away from the lot. Too bad that's such a sweet sentiment with no place in the real world of used car lots. Unfortunately for me, the car I purchased was only the second one I'd viewed and test-driven but my father, the guy I thought knew more than I did when it came to cars and their mechanics, convinced me it was "the one", ya know like if this was my future husband he'd be plain, a little beat up, old, poor, and about to die. (Quite the catch, right?) This is where I utter a rather inappropriate, although appropriate, expletive like F%*K. But hey, Brandon (the owner and chief salesperson) told me he'd give me a deal. We quibbled about the price for all of one minute (I got him to drop it 500 dollars, but I'm sure he made an easy $1,500 off of the transaction) and I drove off with my new (er, used) merchandise and not a "yippee" hand pump in sight. Not pleased with my new piece of mechanics but when you don't have much money to spend on a set of wheels, you settle for what you can get (isn't that just typical?). So somewhat content for all of a week and a few days until I had to fill the gas tank annnnnddddd the car didn't start. SERIOUSLY. I sat in the gas station for a minute and a half turning the key in the ignition trying to get the damn thing to start. It did but grudgingly. And I drove off hoping it was a one-time mishap (only sort of hoping, I knew it wasn't so I just had to wait until the next tankful of gas to test it again). Then, it happened again. Fill the tank full of gas and the damn thing doesn't start. OMG, I'm that girl from the ridiculous movie where she's screwed over and the snake salesman snicker with audience at her stupidity. F$*K. Not only that, but the "Cruise control" didn't work since day one, so there's the second tally on the WTH list. Oh wait, I'm not done. Third, my key FOB doesn't work and it'll cost $250 to get a new one. Thanks so F%$*#@G much. So what do I do, but bring it back to the dealer and plead my case? Brandon got riled up like a humiliated child and accused me of accusing him of knowingly selling me a car with a defect and blah blah blah. Long discussion short, I had my legal jargon all in a row and he knew it. After all, his associate sales guy told me that Brandon knew about the problem with my car and advised me to just "leave the car running when filling it with gas". Right. There's a reason that signs around the gas station say "Turn off Engine." Duh. And since he clearly didn't divulge the defect of the engine, it leads me to believe that he doesn't exactly check over his cars before he sells them, which is ILLEGAL. My advice? DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KING'S AUTO OUTLET. DON'T. DON'T. DON'T. (Bold, italicized, underlined and the whole schebang.) *6 month later update: My car engine DIED. As in, the very engine broke to pieces and, if it was the rib cage of the person bursting forth with gory violence, you'd understand how incredibly HORRIFYING that experience was. SIX MONTHS. 6 MONTHS and my piece of shit car was DEAD. Thank you, King's Auto Outlet, thank you. If I was a truly aggressive person, I would have left that broken engine on the front porch with a nice red bow. (Unfortunately, that would just be a little too extreme. But one can daydream.)
