I'm a semi-fan. So why am I a semi-fan and not a full-on fan? The experience with them was a little trying. I called to schedule and they didn't reply right away, but when they did it was via email and for an appointment time 3 weeks out. Since I wanted the carpets cleaned before the holidays, I didn't reply. To make a long story short, even though we never actually scheduled, a technician was sent out anyway wasting that poor guy's time (since I wasn't home) and us having to formally schedule. When we did get formally scheduled, there was a snafu of sorts on their side; the guy that was scheduled to come didn't, was replaced by someone else (making him late) and then their schedule must have been messed up because his supervisor called me trying to find him. Also, for a Groupon-like deal (it's Amazon Local) where I'm supposed to be saving 63%, I ended up paying only slightly less than the last time I got the carpets cleaned. So to sum it up, my carpets are clean but with a little drama so Yay, I'm a semi-fan.

Initially I hesitated because I just didn't feel like dealing with it anymore, but after Mike insisted I finally relented and agreed to meet him today at 4pm. He arrived promptly at 4 and we discussed all the goings on of the day in question. He then insisted on making the situation right and volunteered to do the job over himself right then and there. Well he went to work and within a few hours I was one happy camper. The floors looked 10x better than when the previous guy was done and I was finally satisfied. I think it takes a real mensch to do what Mike did. Most business owners get a bad review and just wave it off to the cost of doing business; especially when the customer didn't pay full price for the service being done in the first place. I'm sure he lost some money on my whole deal and that's why he deserves a special commendation for doing what he did. Not to mention the fact that he volunteered to do the work himself. That's something you don't see every day. I would easily give them 5-stars, but I'm gonna have to hold to some principals and deduct 1-star for all the scheduling snafus, and not to mention the fact that it should've been done right the first time. What we got instead was less than ordinary. The person was late on the day. When he did arrive, he didn't bring any tools. At least for tile and grout cleaning we did expect them to bring the tools for the job. And had we been forewarned we would have at least got some tools and solution for it. In the end, the cleaning job left us with a headache and the need to do the cleaning ourselves. On top of that, one of the window mesh screens was damaged as well. And absolutely shoddy job of windows and floors. Had they set the expectation prior, I would be lenient. The fact that they promise to do the cleaning requirements we set deserves the lowest rating possible. I guess we learnt our lesson of going for the lowest bidder and trying out someone new, with not many review count. They even agreed to reduce the price when I mentioned the issues, from estimated 220 to 150. But it was a complete waste of our money and especially time.
