Let's just say I've seen more personality from a brick wall and the brick wall would be less rude. It all started when we had a car park in our driveway illegally. We called to have the car towed and when Michael got there, the fun started. He started the conversation out by not even acknowledging my greeting and handed me a paper to fill out and said where to fill. Once that was taken care of, he asked for my ID, which was fine, but he then started having a fit when he was verifying my info on the paper. He's issue was with my phone number having an LA area code. He kept going over that he wouldn't tow the car if the info wasn't correct and that the number couldn't be mine because it's from LA. I tried to explain that the number was a good number to reach me and I even gave a work number that's an OC number. He then said that he was done and wouldn't tow the car. Long story short, he left and we worked with a company called S&K Towing. Far better experience to say the least.

When the guy for the towing arrived he was very rude and would not pick up the car and just got in his truck and left , saying it was not their policy to pick up cars without the owner being present. If it was OK with AAA and had been arranged then why would they accept the tow and waste my time and theirs as well?? They had to pay that driver and the gas in their tow truck to get nothing in return!! Go figure. All they needed to do was communicate with people and this would have worked out for all parties. In all, why accept the tow if your not going to follow the rules set by AAA.

AAA was very helpful and to the point while guiding me through the process. They put me in touch with NK Towing; a company I've had one experience with (favorable) some years ago. NK arrived even faster than AAA indicated, where I met Trevor Colwell, obviously a seasoned agent in terms of this process. "Being towed" in this case was getting the car positioned to be loaded onto their truck. Can't say enough about Trevor. His courteous, professional and comforting style immediately put me at ease as he effortlessly went through the loading process and set off for a short drive to my choice of assistance with my dead battery. We arrived at our destination within minutes where Trevor quickly had my car unloaded and parked - ready for service.
