I have been to daily provisions before to try the cruller which was good but I didn't think it was really amazing. But this time I got the Taylor ham egg and cheese and potato sandwich with hot sauce . It was great. Came out quick it's hot and was everything you wanted from a Taylor ham, over easy egg and cheese, and they add the smashed potatoes that are just smashed not mashed that add some crispness cuz they're a little crispy and they also give it a little more texture and bite. Really enjoyable. I did not know the sandwiches were this good. Get it with the hot sauce, its not too spicy, made in house. Closer to a siracha without fish sauce if that makes any sense. I will have to go back and try some more breakfast items I was unaware they were this good. Despite the price of $10 for a sandwich It was actually worth it. read more

So excited to have a Daily Provisions in JC! The space feels huge compared to some of their NYC locations but still nice and cozy. The waiters are very friendly and although this is a chain, it feels like a neighborhood staple. I ordered the JC special - the Taylor ham, egg and cheese with crispy potato! It came out perfectly warm with a soft, fluffy roll, the crispiest potatoes and a runny yolk. The wake up sauce adds a nice kick but I enjoyed the sandwich as is. My only gripe is how pricey it is for the size! For $9.50 a sandwich, I'm expecting to be well-fed and full but I was still looking for a little more. Overall, it's a pretty cafe with decent food. Stopped in around noon on Saturday and was able to find a table. The food was good, however, the portions are not huge if you are coming hungry. So excited that Daily Provisions has crossed the river!!! Their crullers are finally in Jersey City!!! Today we tried the seasonal ginger Chai, the cinnamon sugar and the maple. They were so good!! I love how moist and soft they are on the inside and how the flavors really come through!! Also tried the matcha lemonade which very good - i could taste matcha and lemonade but it wasn't sweet, which I really liked. The space is very nice, very on brand to their other locations. There's a lot of seating inside and a coffee bar at the back!! Loving at the fresh flowers and the gorgeous lighting. Everyone was super friendly and helpful!! Popped into Daily Provisions around 6 on Friday evening and was greeted by such a friendly team - the staff and barista were just lovely! I was just grabbing a quick takeout, and thankfully, the wait wasn't bad at all. I ordered a side of their potatoes and a breakfast egg and cheese sandwich. Those potatoes? Seriously good - well-seasoned and definitely felt like I got my money's worth. The egg and cheese, though... maybe it was the to-go situation, but it seemed a little small for the price, and sadly, the yolk had totally melted by the time I got to it, which was a bit of a bummer. Still, the cafe itself had a really nice, chill vibe with some light music playing, and it wasn't too packed. I'd definitely go back and maybe try eating in next time. This spot has potential but needs significant improvement. Service was friendly, and the takeout order was fulfilled quickly. The space is elegant and welcoming. But at the price point they're charging, the food better be perfect, and it was far from it. We got a sausage, egg, and cheese for $9.50, and it was missing the sausage (even though the sandwich bag had the sausage box checked!). We also got a cruller sandwich for $12.50, which immediately broke apart because the bottom was stuck to the cardboard container they used--could easily be fixed with some wax paper or different packaging that more thoughtfully accommodates a sticky donut bun! Portions were pretty tiny for both sandwiches. Each about the size of an English muffin, and the fillings, while tasty, are not substantial. The cruller sandwich had what seemed to be one strip of bacon, cut in half. Don't know how much sausage we should have gotten in the other sandwich. read more

This was my first time coming here & I loved everything about this place; the ambiance was nice and the service was top tier. The employees were very friendly & welcoming. A friend recommended Provisions to me last week so I figured i'd stop by on the way to work and it was phenomenal. I ordered a SEC and when I tell you it was DELICIOUS. Very disappointing experience. There were only two people ahead of me in line, yet I waited over 10 minutes and still received the wrong order. I asked for an iced Americano but was given a hot one. On top of that, there were no cup sleeves available, making it too hot to hold. The drink itself was extremely watered down and clearly not made with proper espresso shots.
