They're quick but not too quick so it feels like they're being very thorough and you can also make an appointment ahead of time so you don't wait too long. This review only pertains to their brow lamination service. I went here to get my brows laminated - have done so multiple times before but at a different place with no issues. That place was booked up and I wanted to get my brows laminated for my wedding, so I went here due to their 5 star Yelp rating. Obviously looking back, I shouldn't have tried a brand new place the week of my wedding - but I was dumb and didn't think anything could go wrong since I have had my brows laminated numerous times before with no issue. Long story short, they gave me chemical burns on my eyebrows. During the service, I told them multiple times that I felt burning, and that it burned very badly. They said that was normal and to just wait it out. That was my second mistake - not telling them to get the chemicals off my face right then. I knew it wasn't right, since I've never felt that way during previous laminations, but I didn't want to be rude (stupid of me). The result was burns/open wounds on my eyebrows, and I had my wedding in 5 days. Needless to say this caused me an abundance of emotional distress along with the physical pain. Please spare yourself and don't come here for brow lamination. Update in response to the business's reply below: I am now even more concerned after reading your response. In what world is burning your client's face with chemicals and leaving them with open wounds and now permanent scars a "normal" part of the process? As I mentioned, I've had my brows laminated numerous times before this and never have left with burns/open wounds. Temporary redness, yes. Chemical burns? No. Even if I did have sensitive skin, as the technician it is your responsibility to listen to your client & adjust and/or stop the service if your client is voicing that they are in an abnormal amount of pain and you can see burns starting to form. I left an honest review of this business according to my experience and made sure to point out that it was only in regards to the lamination, as I do not have insight to your other services. I want future clients to feel empowered to trust their gut, and not to sit by idly when someone you've trusted with your face is telling them it's normal that they are in pain only to then leave with open wounds and now permanent scars. I have talked to doctors, my dermatologist, and other brow specialists and all of them agree that the chemicals were 100% definitely left on my skin for way too long which led to my injuries. Do NOT go here to get your brows waxed -- they don't know how to wax brows. I was recommended this place and took an appointment on their website for brow waxing. The provider took off a chunk of my left eyebrow!! I was so appalled and asked her if it had come off and she says "no I'll fix it". She ended up threading around my brow but at the end giggled and said "sorry, I waxed more than I should have, I got nervous". She got nervous? The website says brow waxing is a service they provide and she didn't say to me once that she would prefer to thread. She didn't charge me, in all fairness, but she kept smiling and saying "it's not too bad". I'm so traumatised and upset and will not be returning, nor will I recommend it to anyone. read more

The system to book an appointment is unfair and very stressful as some individuals are allowed to add guests but other individuals book appointments at a certain time and cannot go to their appointment at the time they booked because they when you add guests it tends to take longer. It's just not a good system and causes unnecessary stress. read more

I always feel bad leaving negative reviews but I'm legit shocked at how my brows look at the moment. I came in recently for threading/brow clean up. I made it extremely clear I was hoping to just get a clean up as I'm trying to get my eyebrows thicker and asked for just cleaning up in places it was obvious it needed to be done. I ended up leaving with two eyebrows that don't even look remotely similar lol. I know there's the joke about them being cousins not sisters but this is just not even close. For some reason she thinned out my left eye brow and it now ends wayyyyy too short compared to the other. Overall do not recommend. read more

Amazing threading place. I'm always so nervous trying a new place but I really needed someone in SF. She was amazing at keeping a natural shape. I also have tricky brows that are slightly mismatched in shape and length with a tiny bald spot that creates a horrible look if threaded incorrectly and I've had horrible past experiences. However, I'm happy that my brows came out so well shaped and more even and than my usual go-to that I've been so attached to! read more

I'm so sad and mad. After reading all of the 5 stars reviews on this page I really wanted to love this place. My eyebrows are a total disaster after the lady took more than 2/3 off. I'm so sad and mad every time I look in the mirror.... The lady didn't say anything so I assumed she was just going to clean up my eyebrows. Just as background, I get my eyebrows threaded every month so it's not too out of shape. But she made my eyebrows so thin and so arched. I had thicker parallel eyebrows which I really like but my eyebrows now are thin and arched with a steep slope. Who has thin super arched eyebrows now a days? It's less than half of what it was. It took me so long to grow them out. My left and right brows aren't even the same shape. She said they were different to begin with so they were going to be uneven. Excuse me? After you take off half my eyebrows the shape to begin with doesn't even matter. She said she could take off more on my right side to make it look even but I declined to stop further destruction. It looks bad enough. After getting home, noticed she didn't even clean up some parts of the eyebrow. I'm about to cry looking into the mirror - it looks like I came straight out of the 90s. My eyebrows are so ugly. Praying my eyebrows grow back. Should have stuck to my usual place in Japan town. She said she can fix next time. Never again. No one from this shop is ever touching my eyebrows again. By the way, more expensive side for a basic place - price is $18 for threading. Not worth it. There's other places down the street for $16 and I'm sure anywhere is better than here. They will also harass you to take down your review from Yelp. I have left this place feeling happy with my eyebrows a few times, but left this place feeling extremely bad about my brows other times. I have been going to B brow for a year on and off now. The usual gal who does my eyebrow threading is attentive and does a fairly good job. I had a christmas party to go to this week, so went in as a walk-in. There was a new person working there. I clearly told her to clean up, and not touch my shape. Hurriedly, she started threading, Despite what I told her, she decided to shorten my brows, flatten my arch, and left me with some redness in areas she touched (appears to be a allergic reaction, thinking either her thread or hands were not clean). Botched my eyebrow shape, and I went off looking worse for my event. It will take me months to grow them back and get them reshaped. No apologies. Lady shrugged and asked me to pay and walked off.
